What a great pub/eatery they have established here. It some how has that old school pub feel, with a great restaurant/ eatery to boot.
The food is excellent, well priced and fresh!

Without a doubt the best service we had on our trip through Newzeeland. Our bartender/waiter Blake did a fantastic job. Great food. Good beer. We stayed here twice during our two nights in Nelson.

I wanted a beer and the amazing bartender custom made a brandy-hot lemon tea for my partner who had a sore throat. (It wasn't even on the menu!)

Truffle Mac and Cheese isn’t much to look at but it tastes delicious. The perfect mix of white sauce, cheese and truffle flavoring in my opinion but the truffle flavor is strong so beware if you aren’t used to that. Doe balls that came with it were very garlicky but I love that too. Ribs are a huge
Howard Williams hosted a quiz for us at the Jellyfish as part of our conference. Howard was easy to deal with and he did a fantastic job of facilitating the quiz. Our team really enjoyed it and I would highly recommend Howard’s services to anyone needing a Quizmaster.
Was looking gor somewhere for quick dinner and decided to try here. Nice relaxed atmosphere with good menu, what more could we have asked for.
busy place on tue, quiz night.food was ok generous sizing for the beef nacho dish. music a lil loud for us but others obviously dont mind.

Very yummy dinner, the place has a great atmosphere, and the service was excellent!!
So I didn't know what to expect diving into a buttermilk chicken donut with lashes of bacon, but boy was I suitably impressed. A very sweet and savoury meal all in one go. It went nicely with the mac's fejoa, pear and elderflower drink and both were very very moreish.
Friendly staff, reasonably priced drinks and nice environment. I would recommend the roast dinner if you’re there on a Sunday. Avoid the pizzas, they’re just pre-made bases covered in cheap cheese.
