Wow Roast house Richmond from entering your restaurant I immediately noticed how calm the energy was lots of good vibes the lady at the till was kind and efficient taking my order the owner takes so much pride in his establishment. Watching him prepare my meal from graciously cutting up my lamb and plating my beautiful spuds and gravy the whole experience in this shop was amazing and the food was the best roast I've had except for my Nana's the spuds are yummo just what I needed on this cold rainy flooding day. my dog also loves the free frozen lamb bones that they offer which is hugely appreciated if I could give you ten stars I would I will be back every fortnight for a roast.

Very good experience. Been in Nelson 3 years and only just found this place. Ordered 2 x lamb meals. Very good serving sizing and very good tasty food. As for the below comment regarding grumpy owner, he was nice and was showing the younger workers how to operate the til. Thanks I we will be back again. Cheers Josh

Ist time here as from the north island.... This place has the best roasts I have tasted.... Absolutely spot on.... So so yummy.... I had pork mmmm. Great service and the place was spotless we ate in you won't be disappointed

Awesome every time. Sometimes the potatoes are a little too good... I think they have a stash of the addictive chemicals McDonald's burgers have out back that they sneak in that just keeps me coming back for more.

If you are in Richmond near Nelson, you feel like a rat dinner, but can't be bothered with cooking it, this is the answer. You can eat there, or take a full roast meal, including vegetables and even dessert, home, for a fraction of the cost of a restaurant meal. You get to choose, or mix, your meats, from a selection. The staff were lovely and very obliging. I didn't even have to eat all of my green vegetables to get my dessert!

You got to go there if you like a roast meal you gotta go then meat is beautiful it's tender there variety is awesome there baked potatoes are you couldn't get them any better at home and gravy vegetables or seasonal fresh sandtastik and reasonably priced make it a must do for a roast
