Devine coffee!! Nice consistancy and strong. Tries to please with ease. Nice decor and right next to the bus and train station. Prices seem cheaper than elsewhere. Will be back!!

Surprisingly the white mocha was pretty good! It can be rare to find on the menu and when found, it’s usually too sweet or it’s a syrup that doesn’t taste good. But this white mocha was not overly sweet nor artificial tasting so I enjoyed it!

We always here for breakfast or lunch, when we're in the area. The drinks and food are great and the staff friendly and helpful. It does get busy sometimes and there will be a short wait.

I'm Hungry
I only bought an almond croissant here. But the croissant and service was bad enough never to return The was just flat with hardly, buttery any almond paste inside it. The girl at the counter did not speak a word not even a smile. She came and stood in front of me, I placed my order, she turned the eftpos terminal, I swiped my card. She gave me the croissant and turned around and continued to do whatever she was doing. No hi no thank you no smile. I found that odd and then the croissant was so disappointing, sorry not coming back.

I’ve come to terms that they have one of the best yet affordable eggs bene & omelette dishes! Soooo good & fills you up too 🤤. The staff are polite and welcoming, ambience gives off a comfortable cruisy vibe and it’s not too noisy as it’s situated across the bus station just outside lynnmall.

Love coming here, it's the perfect place to come and enjoy brunch with some mates or whanau. I'm a burger girl and Jamies cafe is the perf place to go that's got the 👍 quality and decent $$$.

Great value for $$$ cafe - generous sized Eggs Bene although pancakes are lil small + they can usually handle complicated orders 👌🏽 Also, like that it's not too loud a place.

Pretty average place. can't really screwup bacon and eggs. Staff were not very attentive. They were busy and service levels had dropped. All the tables were dirty and had to wait for while before they cleaned them. Food came out fast. My had mushroom and toast which was good. A good place to go for a cheap meal

Had a office breakfast on Friday morning just before Christmas and the experience was awful. Most of us had pre-ordered our food as we had to get back to work however it took an hour for the food to turn up. One of my colleagues who was one of the first ones to arrive received his breakfast last! The lady at the counter was rude and looked totally confused. .can't believe she is in the service industry. Overall we were very disappointed with the service.

Jamie’s cafe is a great spot for brunch and it’s really well presented and quiet. Their food is always delicious and it’s not too pricy. The staff are lovely too.
Mocha
Amazing muffins are made here that pair well with great coffee. Coffee prices are also very decent comparing to other places in the area.
Also I have to say that the pumpkin soup here is absolutely delicious. Best I've ever had.

Really nice and friendly service and food and drinks are amazing! We ordered the frappes which were a bit pricey for the serving size but it tasted amazing! One of the best frappes I've ever had!

I ordered the eggs on toast which I expected to have some sort of vegetables along side with it. But all I received was 2 small slices of a baguette that were soaked in butter, garnished with 5 strands of some sort of shredded greens. The cutlery was wrapped in a wet piece of tissue paper which was very disappointing.
However, the eggs were quite tasty and the ambience was pleasant and calm for a Saturday morning. Considering the price - $7.50 - I could have found a better eggs on toast for cheaper at another cafe with the same environment. I wouldn't come back here.

It was a bitterly cold afternoon on 11/9/17 when I called into Jamie's Cafe, New Lynn for a coffee. The ambience was warm and inviting, with relaxing background music. Decor clean and fresh. Cabinet food looked great. I had the feta and spinich muffin and a flat white. Both were excellent. I found Jamie's Cafe to be a welcome, restful haven from the hustle and bustle of the New Lynn CBD. Thanks JC. I will try something from your kitchen menu on my next visit.

Was nice to sit in a cosy warm place looking out at the rain, that was quiet and not in the mall but just outside it. Basic but nice decor. Staff were polite and efficient bringing coffees hot and in a timely manner.
Bought a chocolate chip muffin which wasn't overly scrummy but would try another flavour next time before I judged their food on the whole. I like lots of butter on my muffin so I'd love a big ol' wod of it rather than a little dot, but with their politeness I'm sure they would have been happy to give more if I'd asked. $13 for two medium coffees and two muffins, pretty decent.
A nice place to go for a quiet space rather than the busy vibe and noise of the mall.

Please God, no. Don't go there. Turn around and go to Sierra up the street. You can see it from Jamie's door. Go there instead and don't support these horrifically inept morons ripping you off trying to call it coffee or food.

Is this the worst place in Auckland? So far, yes.

This place is utterly dreadful. Utterly and completely and woefully and thoroughly shockingly bad and I wouldn't send my worst enemies here because they're human too and deserve better. Maybe if there was someone on trial for killing hundreds of people in hideous ways I might get them a coffee from here, or one of their 'sandwiches' (that taste like you should lick the pavement to rid the taste from your mouth), and event then I'd be wondering if what they did was really bad enough to justify anything that comes out of this horror show.

Seriously. Avoid this place like the plague it is.

The coffee is weak, cold, 80% foam, and has that unmistakable twang that you know only comes from a machine that hasn't been cleaned in a while. Speaking of which, the place is hideous. I've seen cleaner subway bathrooms in NYC. The staff are just hopelessly blase and smugly self-satisfied pouring out this foamy crap to paying customers who just don't deserve this.I had some kind of chicken baguette thing comprising a bargain basement white bun (hard, stale, crumbly), shreds of slimy grey stringy 'chicken', a few bits of drab looking green stuff, and covered in what I really really hope was mayonnaise. The person I was with had a sip of their coffee and had enough.

Imagine you've got some old smelly milk out the fridge, then you put it reasonably close to a coffee machine, and you leave it out long enough so it comes up to room temp - that's the coffee here. So bad that I really want to swear but Zomato doesn't like that, but there's a word that begins with S and ends in hit. That's what Jamie's cafe is.

Some idiots thought they can buy a coffee machine and do it like the pros. The Sierra down the road isn't great but is still 5000 rungs above the gaping sh!thole that is Jamie's cafe. Or go to Black Salt, I don't care, just don't go here.

Again: Don't go there. Turn around and go to Sierra up the street. You can see it from Jamie's door. Go there instead and don't support these horrifically inept morons ripping you off trying to call it coffee or food.

I went here this Friday after a disappointing one night stand...This made it all better! I'm not usually one for going out to breakfast, because it's never enough...but this was. The Eggs Benedict was amazing, and the flat white was great. Menus were clear to read, cabinets were full, & food came out on time. Cheers.

I had lunch here with my family on a Sunday. The kiwi breakfast and fish n chips were quite good in terms of quality and portion size, my 2 year old especially loved the fish. Coffees where hot and adequate. We ordered pancakes which came out quickly and I could see why they were pre-cooked and reheated, too perfect in size so must have been purchased from a supermarket; very very poor, we were so looking forward to hot pancakes and berries, total disappointment, you really need to address this menu item, $11 for that, its a shame as it totally affected our experience and we may not return.

My reviews of Jamies Cafe has always been high. Would of given them a 5.0 rating.

But I'm here to register my disgust at the garbage I ate for a second time and that other family and friends are no longer going back to this once "Go To" quaint cafe.

So for a second time I decided to give Jamies cafe a chance to redeem themselves, having always giving them high praise in the past.

Kiwi breakfast and pancakes was just to disgusting to eat.

- Bacon was cheap nasty supermarket garbage, not the quality bacon they used to serve in the past.
- Toast was cooked on one side only, to which one small noob of hard butter was sent out to use on t pieces of large toast. Need another noob for the second slice.
- 2 tiny buttons of mushrooms, equal amount of tiny tomatoes. Seems they have downsized the portions with this.

But the worse was the pancakes. There is no way these pancakes are made fresh. They honestly tasted like countdown brought pancakes that were heated up in the microwave. Worse still was the price. $11. Didn't end up eating Them. Walked out leaving full plates.

Food has gone downhill. No more breakfasts from here for me. Only good for coffee.

Great variety of food was available,
Was served well and quick.
Staff were accommodating and very friendly,
The over all cost was affordable.

Jamie's has become our local and we come here all the time for coffee or food. Tried most of their menu and the food is honest, tasty and good value for money. The staff are friendly, the coffee is good and they always have plenty of magazines and daily papers for their patrons to read. We have not yet tried dinner at Jamie's but if they do as good a job as they do during the day, it should be a hit. Their good value for money prices are definitely a reason we keep coming back (and the fact that their food is good of course)!

Been there twice this week as I was in the area! Such great food, nice and peaceful to dine in. Friendly staff and the chef greets me when I go in, personally came out to deliver the food as the other staff were busy. Would definitely go back again when I'm around New Lynn!
Greenowl
I went there and ordered scrambled eggs and it had a vine tomato with it, very nice food and great customer service. The place was very nice and I would go there again! :)

Ordered a C.L.T. It wasn't too bad nice simple C.L.T sandwich. It didn't come with sides but the seem to have nice selection on show & the staff is definitely friendly & helpful. Not much to fault. Id go back if local.

Came here a few weeks ago and ordered a mocha needless to say it was a very rough drink that went down quite hard and very strong. Hopefully next time might be better. Or maybe I'll pass this place and just try the food next time

Nice and cozy place. Friendly staff. Good coffee and chai latte. Good food, and price is a bit cheaper than others though portion of the eggs benedict is smaller. Bagels with cream cheese and blue berry was nice.

Really great coffee & hot chocolate. This is my go-to as very close to work. Wait staff are so friendly & they have a new chef so the food has improved massively!
