Wow! Best service from this place. Great variety and selection on the menu. I had the falafel which was slightly dry for my liking but the service was too good not to give it a 5/5. I need to come back here and try the other options on their menu. Cheers guys!

Very disappointed to get our takeaway order home to find that it wasn’t what I had ordered. Good chips but disappointed with service and with not receiving what I ordered

Great food! Such good customer service and so clean and tidy! The best thing about it, was being able to sit and relax and enjoy the meal. Definitely recommend!

Great food, very friendly staff and fast service. It's easy to see the food is prepared onsite, everything is fresh, clean and smells fantastic. Definitely a regular stop off of mine and mate.

12/04/2018 and the 12 year old of the Veggee Crew did well at school winning another star in addition to her class winning an overall category award. "I want Falafel "..she said! This from a kid that grew up on chips and chips..with no sauce please.. LOL! Eating out used to be such a drag.
So google offered us Paashas New Lynn, do use Google GPS to find Paashas. This venue will eventually benefit from the completion of the roadworks in New Lynn offers parking around the back and sit down tables with a big kitchen space behind the counter.
Paashas is unique! Ismail can entertain a conversation about his food whilst serving you.

Although we quibbled about fresh Falafel I have to agree to a point of difference with the offerings. Really tasty and get this..they make their own sauces! A Special Mayo and a chunky Chilli. I can totally get how that Chunky Chilli would coat itself around the crispy grilled landscape of the charred meats. Salads were fresh n crispy.I had the Lamb Shwarma. Flavorsome meat in the tradition of Kebab..dry..with the Special Mayo and Chilli..heaps of salad..awesome heights acheived in flavor..yummm. Thick Chunky Chips with flavorsome sauces on call ...yummm. All round yumms.
On my next round I have to try out the Turkish Coffee or Chai. The Bakalava was tad doughy and not crisp right through and the semolina dessert was dry and overcaramelised.
VEGETARIANS and VEGANS out West come here for a good Falafel offering. Paashas also has Zuchini fritters on offer.

Ismail some good meat skills here, loved the meat of the grill thanks. I can see that on a wrap with those sauces and salads.
XTRA POINTS FOR MAKING YOUR OWN SAUCES!!
I saw some smiley people here.
Happy people equal happy customers.

Excellent food, specially Mix Grill, which you can only find here, its my every week lunch, highly recommended a family treat, enough parking for take aways and din in.........

The food was amazing, customer services was great, Ismail the head chef has such a good attitude. Loved my experience there, thanks for the good hospitality. I’ll definitely be back.

This place is absolutely amazing ! My personal favourite dish is mixed grill, which is a marinated lamb , beef and chicken shish Cooked over a charcoal , served with salad and turkish bread.. my go to for Friday nights !

I found this place one of the worst kebabs I have ever had. The wrap wasn't toasted which made it soggy. Not much chicken and heaps of salad. A very poor effort paasha won't be returning here again.

A very yummy food! Been trying out different Turkish restaurant but this one is an exception! Highly recommended! Staffs are very friendly too!

Our local kebab place because it's delicious and portion size is more than the average kebab. The zucchini and feta fritter wrap is so good and their baklava is the best in the area 😊

Check your food before leaving! Ordered chicken donor on rice with salad.

The Salad was disgusting, it had no dressing at all it was as if the vegetables were just scooped and dumped onto the polyester tray with no love.

The salad was so dry without any dressing, chopped up dry pieces of lettuce, yuck.

As I don't live too close to the Restaurant I called to let them know that the dishes I ordered had absolutely no dressing and the lady just seemed to think it was funny, which was annoying.

Wouldn't be going back to this place. Plenty of better alternatives.
Haven't had many good kebab places to eat out West especially from being from South Auckland where I know where to eat and all.
Went along on a Friday afternoon to Passha with my wife after seeing it in an article of the 50 top cheap eats.
Great place to eat and great prices from the menu.
Had the lamb kebab donor while my wife had the chicken donor with fries and can drinks for $12 each.!The donors are normally $9.50-$11(small-large) so it was a great deal. Fresh and a great taste.
Love my lamb and I was very satisfied as was my wife. Lovely place to eat only problem was the parking especially during peak hour traffic lucky we got one almost next to Paasha. Overall really happy and we'll be back for sure!! Yum!!

Went there on a Saturday afternoon and was greeted by a rather unsmiley lady whom I suspect is the lady boss. She took our orders and I ordered shish chicken with bread but I think she heard it wrongly and thought I meant wrap. But it's all good, just a small miscommunication which is made up by flavorful lunch. Although the chicken was abit dry, the sauces went pretty well with everything else. I had the mint yoghurt and hot chilli.

My husband ordered the doner lamb pita and the same sauces as I had. He said that the lamb was not warm but the flavors made up for the lack of temperature. He gave it an 8 out of 10.

One thing I had to commend is the guy who prepared the meat. His friendliness makes us feel at home and when three guys came in and gave him quite abit of headache by being a nuisance, he was very patient with them and tried his best to give the guys the best service although they behave like asses. As we prepare to we leave, he even took the time to ask us if we enjoyed the food although he had his hands full with those guys.

Overall it's not the best turkish food we've had but we wouldn't mind going back again to give it another try. Just because I feel that this might be a one-off letdown as it seems like they were just starting their day when we arrived.

If you're in New Lynn and craving a kebab, go here!

So much better than the standard kebab shops and very reasonable. The place is clean, the staff is friendly and the superior quality of ingredients is very obvious.

I have eaten here twice, both times I had the pita pockets with zucchini and feta fritters which are yummy. The salads and sauces are fresh and delicious. On one occasion my partner had the chicken on rice and it was great as well. Moist, flavorful chicken and huge portion too.

Definitely my choice for local kebab shop.

Very friendly staff and delicious food, I have tried many kebab places and this is one of -if not the best. Try the mixed grill and you will not be disappointed!!

The mind boggles how anyone could give this place 1 star...

We moved into the area from central city around a year ago and discovered Paasha only a few months ago but now visit almost without fail every week. The reasons we keep returning are simple - the staff have always been very friendly and accommodating, the food has always been delicious, and the portions always very generous (sometimes too generous).

It is not going to be the cheapest kebab shop in town and nor should it be. If your idea of a great value meal is huge quantities of bland uninteresting food for under $10 then this place is certainly not for you. If you're instead after something satisfyingly moreish at a very reasonable price then Paasha's doner kebabs served either on rice or as a wrap with fresh salad, tabouli, humus, and your choice of sauces (try the house sauces) are the way to go. However, if you're after something a little more special, then the shish kebabs are an absolute must! A personal favourite is the massively portioned mixed grill, which comes with perfectly spiced and tantalisingly succulent pieces of chicken, lamb, and homemade kofta, all expertly cooked over an open fire, served on rice with salad, humus, tabouli, and pita topped off with the homemade hot chilli sauce/salsa and mint yoghurt. If somehow you've still got room to spare, the zucchini fritters are also worth a try. Paasha is something a little special in New Lynn.

The Mediterranean mixed grilled meat experience ever!
They are even better than their own branch in Glenfield!

Very Yummy and will always visit again to enjoy the great food and their cheerful staff.

The first time i went there the quantity, staff and food were all amazing which made me want to go a second time. This time however the woman that served me was disinterested and gave me the smallest portion i have seen for a LARGE kebab on rice and that too $14! Been to kebab places where the small would have been more. been put off paasha sadly.

GREEEAT turkish out West!! Go here a couple times a week and NEVER disappointed. The people are so lovely and keep up with all my substitutes and extra requests. Def make your way here.. the food is AMAZING!!

We go to Paasha's Turkish Kitchen regularly. Our favorite items include the large chicken doner wrap and the large lamb doner wrap. Pasha's also has a large selection of sides and desserts including fries, potato wedges, and baklava which are all amazing. It's one of our favorite places in New Lynn and we definitely recommend it if you're looking for some excellent Turkish food in Auckland.

YUMMM this place was so good and way better than any of your standard kebab places you find at malls.

I ordered the chicken shish kebab on rice with salad and tabbouleh. The chicken kebab was chargrilled and so tender! Love the taste of chargrilled meat and their sauces are all home made, not from bottles! I chose the hot chilli sauce which was great but not spicy at all, if you love spicy food you may be disappointed. The yoghurt mint sauce was really tasty too and the Salads were fresh. The bf ordered a chicken doner wrap, with the classic spit roast chicken which is shaved off then cooked on the grill to create tender but crunchy, charred pieces of meat.

We also got a piece of baklava each and it was the perfect taste to end our meal.

I'll definitely be back!

Amazing Food. Humble people.Loved the food
One of the best Turkish cuisine in Auckland.
Well Priced. Must Try. I ordered Istanbul special, chicken melted in the mouth. Lamb was juicy
Their chargrill cooked chicken or lamb is the best experience I have had in Auckland so far.
Will definitely going back :D
SHISH! there's some harsh critics out there. I had given up kebabs. For years. Now I've discovered this place I'm back in the kebab game baby! Beautiful food, seriously the chicken shish and lamb shish were tender and delicious. The salad was fresh with a great variety of vegetables including a PROPER bulgar wheat tabouleh with dried mint and sumac. When people put love and effort into producing good food they should be commended. See you guys next week!

Looks like another crappy takeaway - so much better than that. Dunno what they do to the food, but it's really very special. Hummus is lovely, stuffed grapevine leaves are divine - we readily get through two 'Mixed Grills'.

Could do with a few more places to sit down, though...

For me its all about going out to these places cos u dont feel like cooking at home. I dont hassel to comment on some business but when it crosses the line, i have too..

Lets point out what i dont like cos there was nothing to like about:
- ignorant customer service from the lady. She was like the staff or owner who is not interested at all
- asked her to keep hummus and yogurt seperate cos i need to watm it before eating.. She made yogurt seperate and added hummus in the box knowing what i said and asked me to warm things for a min and nothing will go wrong.
- no onions at all
- low in quantity though they charge $14
- getting chicken on rice for $5 from queen street is far better than what i had here.
-pay $3 extra and get double chicken.
the food is great but the serving size is quite small. i have had both the small and large ones, but one day when i went and made a large order of about 6 chicken wraps/kebabs they made quite small ones. but overall good place and people just serving size can be quite small when making large orders. My recommendation would be don't make large orders,
Charlie M.
Their lamb kebab is the best when having it with mint sauce and chilli sauce together. Reasonably priced and great customer service that will have me coming back again to Paasha.

Best Turkish food out west. The Shish Kebab is delicious and our favourite. The salads are so fresh and crisp with the perfect mixture of vegetables. They also make amazing Turkish delight.

My favourite takeaway in West Auckland. My partner and I share the mixed grill and a few zucchini fritters, great value, filling and so delicious!

As an expat Dunedinite as soon as I found out that Paasha had opened up in New Lynn it was an immediate choice to go in and see if it was up to scratch. To people from Dunedin, Paasha is the go to place for the best Turkish Donor kebabs. The location is not the nicest area of New Lynn so not the most ideal for a romantic night out but this Paasha restaurant is designed more for takeaway offerings over dine in.I was pleasantly surprised that this is a real Paasha restaurant by the owners of Paasha Dunedin, this made me straight away feel comfortable in knowing I was about to get my favourite meal.Getting the same meal I used to get in Dunedin for comparison, the Chicken Donor with Paasha's special sauce I was not let down. Fair warning, if you order the Large, make sure you are very hungry, these are man sized portions.Full of meat and a lot of veges it is a great alternative to other fast food options.Would certainly recommend anyone who likes full flavoured kebabs to give them a try.
