Hi Monster burger 👋 I'm pretty sure this place is the best burger place in New zealand ! Burger is really really awesome very tasty and juicy ! And also their homemade chips !!

Very friendly staff, got the double 200g cheeseburger it was huge and the hand cut fries was very nice and fresh

Was a random walk in while doing my laundry tonight. Amazing burgers, such a friendly and welcoming team. Menu was explained really well. Overall A+ Burger was juicy and love being able to pick the salads! Have recommended to friends and will bring some people with me next time! Pricing was on point

Awesome Burgers. Very tasty. The patties are very juicy and moist. The bacon is the extra that made my burger taste awesome, oh the fries.. wow wow wow. I ordered 2 nights in a row looking at 3. These guys are ledgends! Super friendly welcoming. Simple menu making it easy to choose. The burger boasted quality fresh ingredients and was quite a 'Monster'! Loved the hand cut fries too. Will definitely come back again :)

Monster burger looks pretty normal when you walk in but my god the first bite of my burger was a religious experience. The patty is like nothing I've ever tasted. Would love to know what their secret is. Also the fries are perfect. Crisp and full of flavour. I'll be coming back here again.

Great customer service and atmosphere in the small establishment when visiting in the afternoon at around 1:30pm and no other customers were in there. Pricing is about on par with other burger joints. The 200 gram monster cheeseburger looks and sounds big but was smaller than what I had anticipated. The burger patty could have done with a little more seasoning and the homemade sauce was ok - nothing special. Could have certainly done with more sauce in the burger! Fries were over salted but they were freshly made. More onion rings needed as the quantity is lacking slightly compared to Carls Jr. yet they're the same price. Overall, it was ok and there's room for improvement. Definitely not a write-off and willing to go back again to try the chicken burger. Good location and plenty of parking in front or round the corner.

Back to basics and amazing! A much needed burger spot in Grey Lynn and Auckland, really. These two brothers from the states have cracked it with a 200g beef patty that is beyond delicious(what's your secret, lol). Good array of toppings and suaces that you get to choose! Simple menu and phenomenal burgers! Found my new local burger joint, thanks boys!

Came in tonight with my two younger brothers, my 5 y/o brother was sick and being super fussy, but we still had fantastic and very patient service. We ordered 2 beef combos and one vege combo and everyone LOVED their meals. The vege patty was great, unsure if home made or not but it was very tasty, The combos were a great size for a meal & we had no complaints about size. The chips were the highlight for me as I’m a big chip fan and they hit the spot! I would of liked some sauce with the chips combo, but we survived. There is one bigger table and then a row of 1 wall long table inside, menu is easy to read the ambience is good and wall art is unique, the kids loved the jokes. Thanks for the great service, we will all definitely be back in the near future!

Very friendly couple, definitely a monster of a burger, just wasn't as hot (warm) as I would have liked for a burger. Hand made chips are great, could do with a little more cooking to get crunchy.

The only burgers my family and I have now when we have take out night. Real delicious homemade burger and fries vibe. Wonderful, welcoming and friendly service. Greeted with a smile every time. Best burgers since the the old Brucies Burgers joint that was around in town back in the day. Monster Burger over Maccas, BK etc any day.

This place has amazing burgers and the best hand cut chips! It's tucked away and easy to miss but we'll worth the visit. If they had onion rings I would rate it 6/5 😍

Favorite burger in town. The 200gm pattie is thick while it won't feel too heavy with well-balanced seasoning. Like the chips as well, hand cut with skin on. Will recommend.

This is probably the best burger I've ever had in Auckland! Unlike other burger places that are often too greasy or too heavy, the burger here is well seasoned and so tasty. We ordered the monster burger and the beef patty is sooo thick and juicy. The fries were amazing too. Very friendly and welcoming service.<br/>Do give it a try as it will not disappoint!

My favourite type of burger. Big juicy patties, the right cheese and all easy to eat even though they are huge. Yum chips. Classic done very well

Delicious! Yummy burgers and fries and very reasonably priced. Plus the owners were so lovely and friendly. We will definitely be back to this new local spot.

Lovely owners, great service. And then the burgers!!!!!!! loved them. great taste and the juiciest burgers in town without being greasy. They cook their patties sous vide with a little sear so it's cooked to perfection and melt in your mouth. Nice homogenous texture and cook throughout. WIll definitely be coming back for another burger. Fries are great too. Simple menu executed perfectly. A must try

<br/>Update from previous reviews in regards to menu items. They now have 2 types of beef burger (1/4 pounder or the 200g Original) in various sizes, a chicken burger and a vege burger. Fries are delicious and handcut. The Burgers are huge (monster huge)- love that the patties are house made. Buns were a little plain/dry - but overall a very impressive looking burger. Service is fantastic, friendly owners who are passionate about what they do. Awesome local burger joint with Zomato Gold benefits.

The owners were so welcoming we didn’t want to leave. Burgers were awesome, loved the simplicity and the chips even better. We will be returning for sure :)

Friendly owner, has only two options a beef and vegetarian where you choose your own toppings and sauces. The quality of the beef patty was high and the chips were delicious and fresh. Pricing is competitive. Highly recommended

They are relatively new and I grabbed a takeaway menu off them last week. In that short interaction I gathered that they were very nice/chill guys and that they were in to burgers - great! Its a small space so fit out is sparse but that’s ok and perfect for takeaway. Beef or Veg options. We Tried it tonight, a week later - 1x beef special combo & 1x veg special combo and it was a simple, fine meal with great sevice. We will be back.
