Review The Coffee Club - New Lynn

Ordered the Double Stack Angus Cheese Burger with out Pickles, and I can say that this was an excellent choice. The Angus patties were nice and thick, had the right amount of cheese on it and the tomato relish was just perfect, the only down side was just a little to much mustard. Over all this burger was excellent and I rate it 8.75/10. The service for the delivery of the drinks and food to the table were excellent as both staff members were very polite with smiles on there faces.......

I requested English breakfast tea with earl Grey tea. Tea lady made it extremely delicious and strong tea. Happy with the drink and food. Upstairs coffee club space is so wonderful and quiet. Suggestions to keep more cheese cake 😊

The customer service was great. The food and drinks were supurb. There are one off benefits available, even for gold card holders. The prices are reasonable. Will be going back again. PS. Had a vegan pizza and it was so delicous.

Ordered Caramel latte and Vienna and it was a best coffee i ever had after so long. Hokey Pokey pancake was awesome i took home cause i couldnt able to finish. Very sort of staff but they did there best to manage everything and very friendly customer service Welldone coffee club

*The location is just opposite Countdown in lynnmall*<br/><br/>I am a regular Coffee Club Customer. The staff here is extremely friendly and service is A+. I like to enjoy my coffee in peace and quiet with some reading. Unlike other coffee clubs I have been to, this shop doesn't play unnecessary music which is big plus in my book.<br/>This particular coffee shop is nice and quiet 😊 which makes the experience great and I actually get some work done.

My favourite scrambled eggs of all time are from here!! I literally only come here for them 😂 the sausages aren’t very nice at all. I wish they’d work on this.. anyway overall pretty good.

Went here for lunch today.. Got buttermilk chicken and bacon burger and chicken bacon camenbert flat grill.. With hot choc and latte.. The staff was very welcoming. Meals were good. My partner loved his burger. Will definitely be back again. Thanx

Coffee here was delicious. Food was overpriced for what you get. Ordered Eggs Benedict with bacon, was literally some warm bread, bacon and eggs, no spinach or garnish, very disappointing for $18.50.

Been here a few times usually just for coffee. The first couple of times my flat white was nice and strong, however today it seemed much weaker. Consistency seems to be an issue here. Customer service however was very good hence a 3 star rating instead of 2. Tried a muffin from their display cabinet but it wasn’t very nice.<br/>

First few times here were really good. The Indian lady behind the counter was always lovely and the food was decent. Last 2 times have been awful. The pizza we ordered was drowned in sauce and soggy with hardly any salad. Absolutely killed the pizza.<br/>The last time we had a chicken and quinoa salad and a epic beef burger. The burger was pretty good and the flavours were good. The salad was very disappointing as there was no dressing which made it very dry, nothing to hold it together. Hardly any mesclun or leaves. We also waited a long time for our food and saw it sitting on the counter to be served.<br/>I didn't think the behavior of the manager was very professional either as he was on his phone constantly and chewing gum.<br/>It's a shame a lot of our regular Coffee Clubs are getting worse and worse in quality. We will be trying some of the new eateries by the cinema instead as the price of these meals is too much for sub par quality.

Food is below average. Service is good ish, first two times I’ve been I got good customer service and the third time I went (today) the lady didn’t seem too happy about us arriving at 5pm it’s like she got more and more angry the more things I ordered (which was only a meal for me, my partner & two year old son) not even one smile and she barely looked up at me. I know you close at 6 but doesn’t mean give attitude to paying customers. Also I ordered club nachos thinking it was the normal nachos with mince seeing as it was $18 so I didn’t even read the description, and all that came was chips and almost burnt cheese, sour cream & avo and no salsa so I ate literally 3 chips and left the whole plate. Don’t know if I’d return just from today’s experience

Nice place for a coffee away from the busy mall. There is an upstairs area that is lovely and relaxing . Food is average, coffee is always nice.

The food was amazing. New management is really goood. Ordered pesto bruscheta and see what i got. Good musical environment. Love it. Will visit again.

Firstly, some “dine in” options are served in plastic and when emailing head office their response is “it’s customer preference” Have you seen plastic pollution in the ocean? That plastic leaches phthalates and hormone disturbing chemicals that can cause cancer? Not many people want plastic anymore. <br/>Any who, the first time I came to this coffee club I had a sandwich that was average and my mum received a flat white that had more foam than a cappuccino. Sunday night me and my partner ordered flat whites that arrived closer to the temperature we were having (freezing) than fresh hot. We also supplied our own sugar because they only supply small sachets in degradable plastic. Yesterday I came back for afternoon tea and a coffee with my mum and was turned away by the attitude of one of the staff who grabbed a sandwich from the cabinet and then threw the tongs onto the back bench which banged against the stainless steel and gave me a fright. Most the time you’ll receive a friendly waiter and/or barista but haven’t had too many great experiences yet with food or drink unfortunately.

The food at this coffee club is well below average. Whoever comes up with specials need to rethink food pairing. Pulled pork egg Benedict sounds good but it did not pair well. All sorts of different from flavours that just didn't work. Coffee was ok and passionfruit cheesecake was good. I like the atmosphere and the layout. Not enough to get me back for another meal.

Got a banana honey smoothie the most disgusting thing I’ve ever tasted in my life. First and last time, if they can’t make a smoothie properly then no thanks. So watery and tasted like dish washing liquid was very disappointed

I’ve been to quite a few different branches of the coffee club before and I must say this one is my least favourite in terms of food. The isn’t revolting or anything but the price you pay for such basic dishes presented, is very disappointing. <br/><br/>My corn fritters had PEAS in it. PEAS!!!! Like who puts peas in their corn fritters??! I have never come across that and I always order corn fritters when I go to cafes that have them on the menu. But this one takes the cake. There was more peas in it than corn... May as well call it the pea fritter... The way it was presented was also not the best. Literally rocket salad dumped on top. Couldn’t even see the star of the dish until you moved it aside. <br/><br/>Overall it was not only unsatisfying, it wasn’t filling either. Very disappointed.

The coffee was great, the manager was ghastly, he was very rude to his staff member in front of us, yelling out for her to clear the tables first in a very gruff manner, no please or thankyou, I took the opportunity as he was serving me to remind him that manners towards staff are important .... haha he was livid, the poor woman was very busy and being so polite and lovely to customers. The manager is a mean rude bully and needs a lesson in staff and customer relations

I always love to go to coffee club to eat their eggs bene with salmon..this time i tried an omellete. Oh my lord it was huggee n thick n fluffy. It would be nice if the spinach would be whilted n not raw as the textures n temperature difference dont really compliment each other. Overall i enjoyed my visit
