A lovely cafe with delicious food, outstanding service and a beautiful setting. Reminded me of a super restaurant on the foreshore of Laihana in Hawaii that I ate in years ago.

The location of the place is amazing. Plenty of car parking spaces and the view is nice. The place has great decor and good seating. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. The food was amazing. I hope they can also open for Dinner.

Florentine eggs with mushrooms, oh what a heavenly meal. Missus had seafood chowder and did rate it highly. Lovely atmosphere and would be great views on sunny day.

My partner and I came in on one of their busy weekdays, only had an hour on our hands so expected to inhale and leave again by the time we got our food but we were happily surprised. We sat down and not even 10min later we got our food (Pancakes & Egg's Benedict) which was amazing too! We realised out loud we only had one set of cutlery and as I went to stand up a waitress popped around the corner with a cutlery tin as she'd overhead on her way past 😊 I again stood up a few min later as I had forgotten to ask for more Maple syrup and didn't make it to the till before a waitress took it upon herself and didn't even charge me for it either! Food was good, service was excellent 👌 Thank you.

I love dining here and will continue to come back again and again. One of the best menus to cater to vegetarians with so many tasty options to choose from as well as lots of yummy treats in the cabinet. Food comes to the table super fast, presented well and tastes amazing. The view out onto the beach is beautiful!

We visited this place for brunch on a busy Sunday morning, yet got our 4 meals and drinks very fast. The waitresses were smiley and helpful despite the high number of customers. Highly recommend this place for vegetarians/vegans or people with dietary requirements as there are plenty of tasty high protein options. I got the 3 egg scramble with haloumi and tomato. It was very filling, but rather bland. I would suggest getting a sauce on the side with this meal.

North Taranaki Cycling Advocates had a great visit to Bach on Breakwater as part of our Bring on Summer yellow-themed bike ride yesterday. Coffees and food came out fast even though we were a large group. The perfect stop when bike-riding on the Coastal Walkway.

Excellent location right on the coastal walkway in New Plymouth near the harbour, good reasonably priced menu for both breakfast & lunch. The food was well cooked and tasty well worth a visit.

Recently went there for lunch during a very busy period. I thought we were in for a very long wait. How wrong i was. Not a long wait, serving size (quantity) was excellent, food quality and service was also impressive. Keep up the good work :)

Couldn't believe how quick all our drinks and food came especially on a packed day. Also the table service for removing our dishes was super quick. Very yummy, super friendly, great service, family friendly. Highly recommend.

This is one of my favorite Cafe's in New Plymouth. Location is great especially when you see the waves coming over the mole. Nice atmosphere and good quality food.

Highly recommended place. We ordered breakfast and the service was quick and staff was very friendly upon ordering. When we took our seats and was admiring the view still we already had our drinks brought over and soon our food followed. It was a busy morning aswell and The place was packed with customers. The food and drinks was delicious and looked very appealing. Thanks for the wonderful service.

Update Nov 2023: disappointed with my food today. Seafood chowder had no seafood in it and was just like a bowl of cheese sauce for $21. Sweetcorn fritters were very oily and overcooked. Previously: Great food. Though busy, the service was really quick.

Both my husband and I chose seafood options and thought they were delicious. We were well looked after and enjoyed the ambience.
