“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cobb & Co, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was excellent, and the food exceeded my expectations. Every dish was bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef’s skill and commitment to quality. I highly recommend Cobb & Co for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I’ll definitely be returning to savor more of their delicious offerings!

Cobb and Co has a nice relaxed atmosphere, the food is good and there is good value for money. I think that many people would be pleasantly surprised. Make sure to sign in for the parking otherwise you might get a ticket. Sign in is just as you enter the door.

It was our first time visiting Cobb & Co. Rohit was very helpful, he is very knowledgeable, he told us the history of the restaurant. The food is excellent. Nice atmosphere and very friendly service. We took way too long to visit and will certainly be back. The portion sizes are very generous. I would definitely recommend these guys. It would be good to see them grow back to their previous glory days! Loved it.

My twin girls wanted to come here to celebrate their 10th birthday, I was keen on nostalgia. They had the table set up with party hats & balloons for the birthday girls. We had 9 kids with us & had fantastic service from our waiter Noah. The kids & us all enjoyed our meals being brought by the robot waiter, who even sang the girls happy birthday. Food was delicious, we all enjoyed our meals. My only tip would be not to serve the kids roast in a tiny bowl, one of the girls had a difficult time trying to eat that way.

I booked in with a group of 20, 8 of those being adults. The service is abit on the slow side, and the food although delicious, could have done with more sauce. I bought the Tolberone cocktail and both times they were only half full. I may come back here with a smaller group. I enjoyed my coconut chicken meal, but I would have loved more sauce.

We found this family restaurant and took advantage of the Seniors Menu. Great food! The service was a little slow but OK. They have a cool robot that delivers your food. Because it's a family restaurant, there were a few birthday parties which contributed to the noise level a bit but not annoying!

A trip down memory lane and lived up to the memory. Great service, tasty food, best to book as the place was packed.

Lovly decor inside. Garlic bread was great meals were a good portion size. Pricey on the entree and desert's but main about average.

Cobb & Co is still the bomb! Our night out there the other night was better than what I remember from my childhood. Awesome food, and excellent service especially from our waiting staff member Noah, who made sure we were well looked after. Highly recommended.

Went for Mothers Day was very busy but still got served quickly. The staff was very attentive and friendly especially a young girl I think her name was Molly. The meal was also excellent. We will definitely go there again.

Lovely meal of steak I had at Cobb and Co. Food was well cooked and nicely presented. Added bonus at this C & C of a serving robot doing the rounds. It sings happy birthday and amuses the kids (and not so young kids) to no end. Super friendly staff and helpful suggestions given eg had a choice of having a menu item Prawns and Parmesan sirloin OR assembling a steak dinner by choosing a sauce and extras etc. Try the toblerone cocktail :) it’s delicious!!

Tasty food but overpriced. We were seated next to kids playground & it ruined the meal for me. Nothing wrong with kids having fun & the noise is to be expected, but should not have sat 3 adults here, without so much as a warning.Especially when about half the restaurant was empty.

Unfortunately there is lots of opportunity for improvement. We dined tonight - service for drinks and starters was great. There was a long wait - around three quarters of an hour after ordering -for our mains (and it was not that busy). Scotch fillet, mash and veges were all served very cold, hence were not enjoyed at all. Scotch was well done as asked for though so a tick there. Vege and houluni burger was fatty and the veges overwhelmed the houluni. Roast of the day was ok, warm but not hot. No time for dessert and we were not visited by staff to see if we need drink refills and or everything was ok. Overall not value for money at all, nor enjoyed by any of us -unfortunately

Nostalgic dining at Cobb and co. Pretty basic pub grub not much had changed over the years. The lamb was ok but a bit dry, and the cabonara pasta was ok, but nothing to write home about. An easy dinner and good for families

Where do I start. I have no bad words to say about this dining establishment, I am a frequent roast of the day customer and whilst the “roast of the day” is ALWAYS pork you can’t fault their consistency with producing a top notch meat and veg delight every time without fail. Where else in the world can you get a pink panther or a traffic light? Only C&C that’s where. The staff are always friendly and the activity place mat can entertain all ages. I bring all my friends here and I’ll definitely Cobb & come again soon.

It was totally my fault for not booking a table on a Saturday night. I wanted to take my mum out and my nieces out for dinner. We had to settle for this place as it's the only place that had a table and with the kids room it was an obvious choice. How wrong was I. I rang to make a booking and the lady said there was room but didn't get my name so when we arrived the other girls were confused as my booking wasn't there. They sat us by the toy room requested my me.

The kids menu had a good selection but the desserts had no description so we had to ask what they all were. The girls ordered Mac and cheese and chicken tenders. They were good except the tenders were black but they were edible and the kids were starving I had no choice but to keep them. The menu looked great on paper, mum ordered the calamari which was awesome and a great start to the night. Then we ordered the Hoover hog 400g of pork I just had to give it a go, and mum ordered 200g steak with mushroom sauce and she asked for it medium rare. When they arrived they were both extremely over cooked and so dry, it made the McDonald's burger taste moist compare to what we had. Mum love her steak when she dines out, but she could not even finish it. I had a bit but man it was dead to the world. Mum convinced me to not make a scene so I did it based on her wishes. We are what we could and left. My 2 rating is only for the calamari and kids meals, service was fine not really there as they were all resetting the restaurant and bringing signs in. Food would get a zero in my eyes.

WE WILL NEVER COME BACK!!

We went to the Cobb three children and four adults the kids meals arrived about 10minutes before the adults, 2 of the adults meals arrived about 10 minutes before the next 2 the second bite of my pork of the day roast revealed a slug in the collie flower, that's was OK the meal went back about 15 minutes later my replacement meal arrived, it was cold the vegetables might as well have been raw, but that was Ok when I cut the collie flower there was another slug, so back to the kitchen it went I was then asked to order a different meal I refused and ordered the roast of the day meantime everyone at the table had finished their meals my third meal arrived at the same time as everyone else's puddings. The meal ended up being free and the Cobb gave us some vouchers what a joke this was the worst dinning experience I have ever had I will never return to the Cobb in New Plymouth and would not recommend them to anyone

I came here for my birthday dinner with my husband, 4 children (aged 5,7,10&12) and my mum and dad. The service was awesome with friendly fast working staff, double checking that certain things we wanted to order were gluten free, as our 10 year old has coeliacs. The activity bags the kids were given were awesome and helped keep the kids entertained, as well as the games room :) We ordered 4 items off the kids menu and were pleased to see the kids ate everything (usually fussy kids!). Us adults had the freemans lamb shanks, cobb ribs, cobb schnitzel and prawn & parmesan sirloin. Everything was cooked perfectly, with loads of flavour! I can not wait for my next visit!

My family and I were on holiday and went to this restaurant for a meal ,the service was okay but the food was terrible . My wife had the fish of the day with side salad , the batter was soggy and the fish was tasteless and the lettuce was limp. My son and I had the roast pork and roast veges. Meat came as a little pile of tasteless material that certainly didnt taste like pork. Roast veges were warm and soggy. Meals were luke warm and with a couple of drinks included this meal cost us $96 !!! Really left us with a bad impression and wouldnt recomend to others.

If you want microwaved leftovers this is the place to go. We went in around 4:30 on a Friday. There was no one else there to eat and were sat right next to the kitchen. To my surprise everything we ordered was put in the microwave. I could not believe it. I did get fresh wedges though which were sadly the highlight of our $80 meal. My wings tasted like 2 day old reheated chicken. I ate one bite and was disgusted. Will not return even though service was good.

I think Cobb and Co is quite expensive for what you get and pretty average food not a fan. Been a few times and both times food has been the same not great. Place itself is pretty nice to dine in and staff are alwasy friendly
