The best sushi we have had in New Zealand!
They have more than 20 kinds of different sushis to choose from and also some deep fried bites too. Shop is very small, you pick your box and fill with whatever you like, then at the counter they calculate the final price and you are good to go!
We sat outside and went back to have some more. The lady at counter was very kind and positive.
I would suggest this place to install filtered water system for drinking!

From generous portion sizes, high quality locally sourced fresh ingredients and great collection of different types of sushi this is my one stop shop whenever I am in New Plymouth!
One of my personal favorites is the Salmon Blossom, which I found out is a creation of one of the owners 😯
Definitely recommended to anyone I know that enjoys Sushi.

The colourful sushi brightened up my Tuesday morning. The food tasted great and the presentation was outstanding. Creative designs and the restaurant décor was nice. The prices are good and we enjoyed the experience. We look forward to visiting again.

My wife and I have eaten a lot of sushi all over New Zealand and various other countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, Bali and Malaysia. We recently stopped in New Plymouth for a couple of days to visit friends when we came across this place by chance....Wow! we both agreed after lunch that this was the best sushi we had ever had in all of our travels(and we have eaten a lot of sushi!). We will be sure to make a special trip back to Nami's next time we are in New Plymouth!

I went with a friend who had an allergy to dairy. The staff were more than accommodating to helping us with sushi she can have. It's a lovely little place with amazing staff.

I absolutely adore the sushi here. It is always fresh and you get to choose which pieces you want. There is a wide range of sushi to try, I love the lobster roll.<br/><br/> The staff are always friendly and very helpful. Never been disappointed :)
