Superb service and food.
We had reserved a table for a large group but it had been noted down for the day after. However staff were quick to sort us out and had a table ready before everyone had arrived.
We were allowed to do a birthday cake.
They were very accomodating to family members with tricky dietary requirements. And food came fast and was delicious (every large portions too!)
Bonus - kid-friendly. Great kids korner.

We met other family members.. 8 plus a baby.. there for brunch. I had poached eggs on vogels toast with a side of bacon and everyone else had a variety of meals and drinks. Food was really good and the service was great. Friendly and attentive staff and a great atmosphere

Elixir cafe is always a good chill place to have a cup of coffee or grab some hearty breakfast... I ordered a mocha which was really good (as a barista...the Temperature was good and tasted pretty good too).. I came specifically for the West brekky... It was filling and tasty.... As you can see the plate was full... Every individual item was made with love and it showed... My only note was that I asked for a soft poached egg but got hard poached egg(would have been a 5 star review otherwise)... The staff was helpful and friendly... I'd definitely recommend Elixir cafe to anyone... As a local food reviewer this place is gonna be my go to place for a big brekky ❤️... Well done guys and stay safe.

Excellent chicken & waffles - nice to have a savoury waffle. My wife's mince on toast was immense and delicious (I had to help her finish it!). Friendly service and good coffee.

I ate here for Breakfast the first day I got here, then looked forward to eating here every morning after that. There are so many good choices for food in new Plymouth this is definitely one of the best places for breakfast. All the local seem to know about the secret place!!!!

Friendly, helpful staff and one of the biggest and best breakfasts we've ever had. The breakfast bowl was absolutely delicious and the combination of ingredients worked perfectly. Definitely coming back here again.

What an absolute gem we've discovered! Our breakfasts were rave-worthy. The southern fried chicken waffles and the breakfast salad bowl come SO highly recommended! The service was super friendly and fast too. Thanks SO much for treating us so beautifully!

Been to both elixirs and prefer West, food is consistently 5/5, staff are great, sconnes are to die for. much more comfortable environment being much bigger, I noticed the kitchen is bigger, more room for chefs to prep and be comfortable and organized. Very satisfied customer

Really yummy brunch here, super friendly and welcoming staff. Busy at the time but food still came out very quickly. Love that I could order half a eggs Benedict.

Good at the first table offer rate. Went just before 11am and many items on the menu were unavailable for some reason. But the two we eat, fried chicken with waffles and salmon salad were well prepared. Could do with more salad quantity. May not eat at full normal price. Coffee was 👌👌.
