A great place to stop. It was perfect sitting outside in the garden in the sunshine and having our delicious pies and coffees and hot chocolate’s. A little oasis along the way.

Really enjoyed out visit here today! We just pulled in after a mini bus tour group - so we were asked to wait for 15 minutes to order. The perfect place to eat on a drive through the Catlins! Great food, huge portions, an wonderful restaurant philosophy, and an absolutely beautiful space. There's a garden out back, and even picnic tables in the yard so you can enjoy an outdoor meal if the weather is nice enough!

The carrot cake was beautiful, very dense and full of nuts, fruit, coconut and carrot, the cream cheese icing needed more whipping as it was gritty; but the flavour was beautiful- a bit heavy for my liking.
