Had poke take away to have at home with friends and the bowls were so fresh with great portions! Definitely come back for more :)

I had salmon poke, which comes with mango, seaweed salad and all other great stuff. Big portion, reasonable price ($18). When the guy asked me about my choice of sauces. I asked him to make this decision for me as he knows the best. I saw him mixing at least 3 diff types of sauces and as a result....... it was soooo yummy. Great place to dine in. Highly recommended.

Portion and price are good imo especially when compared to other Poke places. Owner have changed recently but quality is still good, if not better.

Awesome poke place. Each bowl is carefully crafted to your preferred veggies, fruits, choice of protein and sauces. Every bowl is like an artwork. Friendly/lovely staff. Would definitely recommend this to anyone craving for one! Pricewise isn't too bad for the generous amount of what you get. You be the judge to the photos. Blue Poké Shed simply the best!

Fantastic! I ordered a bowl on Uber Eats and it was prepared and delivered quickly and perfectly. The food was incredibly fresh, artfully prepared, and full of so many awesome ingredients. I loved everything about this lunch, including the freshness of the salmon, tuna, and prawns in my bowl. I’ll definitely order again! A new favorite in Rosedale.

Love the chicken poke bowl, the ingredients are always fresh and delicious. Really generous sizes and decent prices. The staff are friendly and helpful. I don't usually eat in but you can, there's a few tables. It's usually hard work to find a park around there at lunch time but it's worth the walk!

Best poke in Auckland! I highly recommend this place as they serve fresh, high-quality bowls at a reasonable price with a decent portion size!

Food tasted healthy and great, although a bit heavier on rice. You have option for white or brown rice. Price was decent. Water was not provided.

Love, love, LOVE Blu Poke Shed! Fresh, delicious, and sustainably sourced seafood and delectable ingredients! For this chilly weather, they even have a special seafood chowder with freshly prepared sourdough garlic bread from a local bakery. A steal for $12.50!1 A hearty, beautifully balanced chowder that is both filling but not "heavy". Gorgeous and delightful. Dunno when this special will end, so get the chowder while you can! Edit: came back for round 2 of the seafood chowder. HOW DID THEY MANAGE TO IMPROVE ON PERFECTION?! It was sublime. Best seafood chowder I have ever had. So happy.... XD

It is total value for money any of the meals that you can buy here, definitely very affordable. The Poke Bowl is our go to and with either Salmon or Tuna or a combination, always is a great meal, enjoy the brown rice in the meal. The freshest of produce are used and the staff is always very helpful and friendly. You can sit down and enjoy your meal inside the business, the making of a relaxed experience. Very highly recommend for all current and any future customers, come out and support our local small businesses during these tough times.

Pleasantly surprised with the food, it is fresh and delicious, the raw fish is divine. The place is modestly decorated, simple yet elegant. Highly recommended.

I’ve never tried poké before and I was not disappointed when I chose to try it out here. The portion is generous, the staff who served me was really friendly even though she could see I was a little bit confused being here the first time. Everything tasted so good and I especially love the pineapples.

Hi I have been first time here today 09/03/20 My poke bawl was nice and all ingredients fresh but service 👎 Be careful what you paid for and what you get in the end. In my case I paid for big bawl which with 3 protein choices and actually ask just only for tuna and salmon was sure that the portion would be bigger than just 2 scoops but it wasn’t no difference if I paid just for regular. The blonde girl wearing glasses, sorry didn’t notice her name didn’t even ask me about any allergy for food I think they should. Any way I recommend this place who likes poke bawl but be careful what you paid for!

Fresh, delicious, and sustainably sourced ingredients. Love their poke! And today they had a seafood chowder special. Hands down the best seafood chowder in New Zealand. The shrimp, calamari, clams and mussels were perfectly cooked. The whole dish was beautifully balanced with a hearty slice of garlic bread. Superb! A steal for $12.50!<br/><br/>The photo below doesn't do enough justice becauae I already ate half the bowl.

Tried their vegan poke bowl via Uber eats- really yummy, decent serving. Added extra protein which was relish. Loved the flavour of the tofu. Will deff be back!

We decided to go for two regular bowls - one with chicken and salmon, the other with prawn and tuna. I opted for all the available ingredient options except for red onion and beetroot. <br/><br/>I found every element to be fresh and flavourful, with my favourites being the seared prawn and the sweetness of the mango. Some complaints would be that the rice was a bit hard, thus indicating that it was not particularly fresh which would not be a shock as only one other customer came in during the one hour we spent in the store. Additionally, I feel like there was not enough sauce ( I chose the roasted sesame) distributed as I couldn’t taste or see it at all after I had mixed everything.<br/><br/>We both added on a miso soup for $1 each and it was delicious and comforting to pair with the cold bowl of poke.<br/><br/>Service was very friendly, helpful and patient even thought we took a while to decide what we wanted.

Went to Blu Poké Shed on a sunny Monday morning and was really impressed! I enjoyed the friendly casual service and fresh fish that’s sustainably caught.<br/><br/>We ordered a small Rambo chicken and a regular Blu’s signature. Fantastic range of garnishes and sauces to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised that the brown rice wasn’t too dry – although I would’ve liked the option of purple rice too. To top it all off, the chicken miso soup was not too salty and smelled amazing.<br/><br/>Looking forward to coming back in future. Keep up the good work!

I love this place! Ingredients are so fresh. You can choose any combinations of fresh sashimi, salad vegetables, toppings and sauces and it would all taste amazing. Different textures and flavour profiles combine to create a party in your mouth. Complete the experience with their store brewed kombucha.

I love Blu Poke! I get a rice and salad base, their tuna and salmon, Sriracha mayo and the sesame sauce. It is the tastiest combo. Blu Poke keep it fresh, simple and healthy. The staff and owner are always friendly as well. Nothing I can really fault at all except I wish they were open for dinner too!!<br/><br/>Blu Poke Shed is conveniently located a 2 minute walk from my work but it also means I end up buying a bowl every. single. day (despite packing my own lunch). If that doesn't go to show how good Blu Poke is - I don't know what does!!

Rate a Poke Bowl. The people working here are super nice! The Poke is delish too (especially spicy salmon) but so loyal to Poke Poke in Takapuna. Wish there were a few more options like crab, and purple rice. But still a go to when in Albany.

Definitely my favourite lunch spot. Love the fresh food and the friendly staff. So generous with portions and toppings. The Rambo chicken is my go-to, but the fish is also great. Highly recommend this place!

Great Summer spot!<br/>Hands down the best Poke out there! The extra toppings they provide free of charge are to die for. They use fresh fish not frozen!! They use top of the shelf salmon & tuna and geez can you taste the difference for no extra cost compared to other Poke stores. They use a light marinade which is 😍😍😍. Highly recommended. Not a franchise support your Local!

I recently tried the Blu Poke Shed through the UberEats delivery system. I ordered a salmon poke bowl with avocado - both of which were fresh. However, I found that the roasted sesame dressing did ruin my bowl for me, just because it had an odd burnt flavour that was quite strong. I’m a bit of a stranger to poke bowls so I’m unsure as to whether this is what to expect, but I wasn’t too much of a fan. A huge thumbs up for freshness though.

I’ve tried a lot of poke cafes and I would have to say this is the best one out of all the numerous ones I’ve tried! The food is always fresh! The veges and especially the salmon feel like it was just prepared! Always my go to place when I’m in doubt of what to eat!

I've been hearing/reading about the poké bowls everywhere on social media lately, and I have wanted to try them for a while.<br/>Went here as it's nice and close to my job.<br/>As it was my first time in here I wanted to know what's what and to sort out my order...... the staff were very patient and helpful, even had a regular customer in there explaining what the different toppings were and which ones she thought were yummy.<br/>I ordered the Blu Signature with a mix of salmon and tuna.<br/>It was great. The food is healthy, fresh and very tasty.<br/>The shop is nice and clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly.<br/>Will definitely be back 😁👍🏽

We regularly pass the Blu Poke Shed in Rosedale and have noticed it is always reasonably busy, so this weekend we finally decided to try it out for lunch, and it was well worth it. This is a Hawaiian concept that has recently become popular in Auckland. The basis of the bowls is (brown) rice topped with edamame, salad leaves and cucumber. On top of this there a choice of salmon, tuna, chicken, or tofu with a wide variety of other vegetable ingredients, dressings, sauces and condiments. We chose the Blu Signature (with both salmon and tuna) and the Rambo Chicken from the number of set options, but you can design your own.<br/>The meals, served in bowls, are a very healthy and nutritious alternative to the usually options, and are surprisingly filling. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. If you have not tried this type of eating, then do so - you will not be disappointed.

My colleagues have been to this place and said great things about this place :) not disappointed indeed.Ordered the medium Waikiki Sunrise with brown rice and every bite is fresh and flavourful :) the portion is just right! Just a suggestion: the shop front should have a staff at al times as I saw a lady coming in waiting to be served for a good few minutes (while everyone was at the back of the shop?)

Good service and Good food. Another healthy lunch during working days. First time visited the Shed, order their original blu with brown rice. It’s yummy.

Could be the sauce that needs a bit of a kick to it.<br/>I would go back and maybe try a fish bowl. All in all ot was good but not amazing<br/>

Blu Poke Shen, I cannot say I have had anything fresher for a lunchtime fix, well worth the trips over the bridge for a bowl of delicacy. Looking forward to more frequent visits!

Interior is relaxing. The poke is delicious at a very reasonable price - I like that you can customize the poke to mix and match to your liking. Great place for lunch on a slow or busy day.

Food: the fish is really fresh because they get their fish delivered daily and cut the fish as needed through out the day, so the fish doesn’t just sit there all day. Other ingredients are fresh as well, the avocado doesn’t get black and the cucumber doesn’t get dry. Great place!<br/><br/>Service: great service, very attentive.

Basically my photos say it all! Went here on Saturday and the place was packed which is always a good sign. I got the Waikiki bowl and chose to have a mixture of salmon and tuna. Was the best salmon and tuna I have ever tasted. You could tell how fresh it was. Everything in the bowl went together perfectly. I could not recommend this place more! I got the regular bowl and at $13.50 you can't really moan 😊

Newly opened eatery with the trending poké bowls! The meal itself is so vibrant and full of colour. It's healthy and delicious. <br/><br/>It's full of fresh quality ingredients. The sauces and marinades give the meal a burst of flavour. It's so colourful and makes you feel extremely healthy while eating it hehe<br/><br/>

Blu Poké Shed serves delicious fresh Poké, with fast friendly service and generous serving sizes. Had the Signature Blu which I’d recommend. I’ve tried two out of the four Poké places in Auckland and would put this one at the top so far.<br/><br/>For those looking for info open hours are 10-3 Mon-Sat. Large meals $16.50, Regular $13.50

This so worth a visit! I had the Waikiki bowl and the flavours exploded in my mouth. Fresh and crisp with a lot of tuna. The interior has a relaxed atmosphere and the service is top notch.

Visited here on opening day. Received fantastic service and delicious food (IMO not enough places offer fresh tuna!). Prices are OK, small is enough for lunch although I do feel the low carb and vegetarian versions should be slightly less pricey. All in all I will return. I may even try emulate them at home!
