Review Paper Moon Mairangi Bay - North Shore

On Sunday, on the spur of the moment decision, to go for lunch here. Second time, dining in and both times, the food, the staff, the atmosphere, have been superb. Can’t fault this place. I had the Cajun chicken burger and hubby had the beef cheek dish. Both, melt in your mouth dishes. Yummy! 😋

Excellent. Friendly helpful waitress. Good coffee. We were a group of eight adults and two children and the high tables were just right. Not crowded when we were there from 10am on a Monday. For dining there is a separate area with the tables at the right size and height for a sit down meal. The cafe was playing our music on speakers outside. Late 1960s. We sat inside and it was quiet.

Food here is always top notch. Have been here a few times in the past few months and have tried most of the items on the dinner menu. Everything I have had are excellent! I’ve have had (multiple times): beef Wellington, pork belly, duck, eye fillet, soft tacos, sliders, prawn spaghetti and lamb shank. They are all super yummy and of high quality. The desserts are also a must with decomposed tiramisu (my fav!) and chocolate lava cake to die for. A great selection of drinks on the menu to choose from as well! Definitely a place I will frequent and a good place for any occasion ;) Highly recommend!

The menu was different to what we had seen online (so I have posted pics, though we were told it's going to change again soon). Which meant they had changed since if the things that we wanted to try. The food was tasty and well cooked.

Great place to meet people and grab a tea or coffee or beverage as they are also licensed. Plenty of parking nearby and nice ambience. Highly recommended.

We had our Xmas Function here and booked the room at the back. Worked out to be awesome. Had enough walls to contain our noise but enough room to laugh and giggle. Dinner was delicious and service was great. Will definitely come back here again.

Food serving is always great here. You know exactly what you're getting. They just need to clear the table quicker next time so customer can find a place to sit sooner.

Good service and reasonable prices, although it’s definitely more of a restaurant rather than a cafe. No cabinet food and no small treats. I suppose I was just wrong in thinking it was more of a cafe/eatery. Young server did a good job, polite and professional.

Had a very nice morning tea at Paper Moon. Staff were quick to provide a clean highchair, were friendly and attentive. The food and coffee was great.

Best food and best service!!! Love the pork belly, chocolate bomb and all the drinks!!!BTW, missing the duck so much. If the duck's coming back I definitely will come more;)

Was very good, little bit inconsistent with the same food on two consecutive days. One day I was brought butter cream with my bagel and next day there was done

Average food could do with a upgrade very cramped customers seated next to us had to move when needed to go to bathroom only 1 toilet to use which needed a clean dessert was nice

Went to Paper Moon for Brunch on a Saturday. The staff were super attentive and we were seated and served very quickly. It was cold, windy and rainy outside and was pleased to be seated right near the fireplace to warm up. The food was good and beautifully presented, but at $24 for a smashed avo it was nothing special. The lunch menu seemed more reasonably priced.

Lovely meal ,I had fish and chips,very nice and tasty, peas tasted great too, love peas🙂

With a recent revamp this place is an awesome venue! Great team of people, fabulous food and an unbeatable location!

Had a really good dinner. Staff are friendly, dishes are stunning.
