This is the best bakery in town, good selection of breads. And the best coffee. Friendly service. Five Star +

So glad that we went in to get our breakfast. The pastry of the pies and cinnamon snails are fantastic. We went around second time to grab more after the first round. My daughter exclaimed 'that almond croissant must the size they actually sell in france!'

It is a lovely bakery in downtown. We had a great time conversing with the sales assistant. There is a wide array of pastry items. We went for their cookies accompnlanied by a cold beverage. You should definitely pay a visit to this bakery if you are travelling through Oamaru.

Gave me the home bake feel without it being too expensive. The service is nice. They we pleasant and smiling. For some reason it made me feel like I was eating local bread at home. Wholesome and filling.

I had cinnamon snail (the only thing which remained basically 2hrs before closure as other stuff sold out!:) — I was surprised how good it was! Also they have traditional European breads, so if you have enough of NZ toast bread, great place to go. The service was lovely.

I usually have to decide between great value for money or top quality. Not here though because you get both!! The pies are amazing flavour and huge and really well priced. Hot chocolate and coffees were great too! Well done!!!

We visited the Harbour Street Bakery for some late afternoon treats. The coffees were amazing and that's no lie. The lady that served us was super friendly and very pleasant too. Harbour Street Bakery has the best coffees and this is a huge compliment given we have tried many. The Doughnuts with custards super tasty and filling! Looking forward to coming back soon.

Awesome bakery! Such a cute place. One of the few places I have found anything with cinnamon. I got the day old cinnamon role (it was still soft and delicious) and my husband got a fruit danish that was deluxe! Good mocha too.

Legendary pies and a great assortment of "proper" breads. The old quarter is worth a visit for this place alone.

The food is a wonderful experience. Such tastey foods, breads, croissants, biscuits, buns & pies. They offer great service of slicing the bread for you. But most of all the staff are truly amazing & friendly.

10 out of 5 stars!! Best coffee on our 3 week trip around South Island. Everything in the bakery looked amazing and all made on site. Their pies were delicious with the lightest flakiest pastry and loaded with tasty fillings. Home made chocolate chip cookies for the road…. Didn’t last long! But best of all was their lemon curd cronut…. heavenly and I am still raving about it. I wish I could pick this bakery up and relocate to Wellington! Yum yum yum!!!

A bakery in the Victorian precinct of Oamaru. Love the pies!

I'm in two minds to review this place. I don't want it becoming so popular all the delicious food runs out. The pies are amazing, so full of meaty (or vege) goodness. Cronuts are to die for. Belgian biscuits....soooo good. Spent $41 there getting morning tea and I had to be stopped before I could spend more. I'll definitely be coming back to try the other goodies.

Went there for a snack, got a speculaas (spiced Dutch biscuit) with almonds on top, very nice. My partner got a bacon and cheese pinwheel or scone type product which he liked. The bread look scrumptious and the pies mmmmn. Would definitely go back.

Best mince and cheese pie I have ever had in my hands down. Fantastic quality mince, buttery pastry, healthy dose of cheese, and the grilled cheese on the top made all the difference. One of the only pies I’ve had a long time in a while that can justify its price tag
