Great food good service and friendly staff. We arrived late for lunch and yet the still open, the server is good, friendly, and patiently explaining some dishes to us. We have Chinese broccoli, Shrimp fried noodle, fried egg with White bait fish, and Szechuan sour vegetables with blue cod. The dishes are delicious and reasonably priced and the place is clean.

We went to this marvelous restaurant for an amazing hotpot meal. The owner and chef was very happy to custom craft a hotpot experience to our personal tastes. There were lots of different types of meats, mushrooms, and vegetables to put in the pot and very generous portions. He did ask for us to call and request 1 to 2 days in advance.

Excellent food with great service. The owners were super friendly and made sure that we enjoyed all dishes. We had the eggplant with salted fish and the seasonal vegetables. Eggplant was really tasty and the vegetables were picked freshly from the owners garden.
Best to make a booking beforehand as they seem to be busy on some days and there is limited seating.

By far the best Chinese food I've tasted in Oamaru. The vegetables taste better than the other places I've been to. They also keep the sweet and sour sauce in a separate container so you can combine it with the meal you bought, when you get ro wherever your eating, which prevents the battered meat from getting soggy and mushy. All in all.. the food was great, I couldn't fault anything 😁

Super friendly staff and an amazing venue. It was easy to be a vegetarian- I had spicy tofu and vegetables. My friend loved his chow mein.
I will definitely return next time I'm in town.

Very nice. Felt like I was in China as all the other diners spoke Chinese and everything was in Chinese. Found it hard to understand the waitress.They did have English on one menu. There was 3 menus. As there was 5 of us we chose 5 dishes and shared .chicken soup and prawn crisps were complementary. Very reasonably priced. Great place for a group of you. Enjoyed brushing up on my chop stick skills.

Good service and delicious food! We had a variety of dishes. The popular spicy sichuan beef, sweet and sour pork, green beans and egg plant. It was all amazing! Hats off to the chef!

We had just completed A2O 6 cycle trail and after 6 days on the trail we felt in need of a vegetable fix.
We ordered the stir fry pork belly, so delicious, a huge serving, amazing variety of vegetables, loved every mouthful.
The owner was very gracious and friendly.
