Review Mountain Kebabs - Ohakune

It was simply great. I tried the lamb kebab and liked it to the last piece. It’s highly recommended to treat yourself to their unbeatable smoothie or shake. Epic!!

Big kebabs. Affordable price. Good atmosphere Lots of books in the store to kill wait time. Approx 10 min wait time for food.

Amazing kebab place! Vegetarian kebabs are very tasty with lots of fresh vegetables and nice sauce options. (Vegan if you remember to ask without cheese!) Guy who works there was super friendly and prices are reasonable.

Excellent, nutritious, delicious, toasted vegetarian kebabs here and so-o-o reasonably priced. That's why I keep going back for more every time I've visited Ohakune over many years. I've voted with my feet and, more importantly, my mouth! Keep it up!

We got ourselfs two times a vegetarian kebab here and that says it all. After the first time we directly said that we wanted to get one again! The service was great, you get your food very quick and the guy who works there is super kind and helpfull!

I love calling in for a kebabs on the way home. I have my little dog with me in the car, and it isn't too much trouble for them to cut up a bit of extra meat for him while making my kebab. By the time we've had our pit stop, our dinner is ready, and we're back on the road. The kebabs are always delicious

Suitably located on the main road amongst other shops close to the visitors centre. Popular amongst locals and through traffic. Prompt friendly service with food fresh and tasty. Eat in or take away.

The kebabs were well seasoned and plentiful. A cute main street storefront made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Seems like a place the locals enjoy as well so that's always a plus.

Fantastic kebabs that are absolutely delicious! Friendly blokes and all around great place. Would definitely recommend for a nice meal in Ohakune. Great prices too - cheaper than Maccas but so much better.

Disappointed! Poor price, poor meal. Took a bite to discover the vegetarian kebab (which is the same price as the meat kebabs) had nothing but salad in it - Standard veg kebabs come with meat substitute - e.g. Falafel. At a push I can do a salad kebab so to speak - but come on guys - factor it into your pricing structure!

well , i just have to say that i have had kebabs all across nz and this place is by far the worst. dirty greasy angry bald man yelling from the kitchen to keep our 18month son quiet, then when i asked him just how he suggest i do that , he said give it a whack on the bum, also food foul and odd . who puts brie cheese in a kebab . AVOID like the plague. E--<br/>oh and i just noticed it says "child friendly " ,, lol yeah right

Good food - tasty kebabs and good sizes. There can be a bit of a wait because this place is popular - but all worth the time.<br/><br/>Recommend this one. Good value for money.
