Review Turoa Ski Lodge - Ohakune

Good clean and tidy unit. Close to town on the main road out to the mountain. Arrived late evening but our host was welcoming and the unit was lovely an warm as the heaters had been switched on. Comfy beds. Definitely will stay again.

Attracts a mostly younger crowd at nights where tabletop dancing is actually encouraged. Restaurant menu and taste is decent, but dislike how it costs $2 to request any changes to your order. Very hectic and crowded at night. Werent allowed to pay to use the heated pool either bc it's "too busy" but didn't look like anyone was in there. Don't go here for cocktails either bc they'll just get worse as the night goes on. But either way ... You pretty much have to still come here if you want to any kind of nightlife.

Great food, drink and vibe. Mulled wine far too sweet though. But brought it back with a top notch guiness!
