Nice place for to have a short break during a long trip. Had a well tasted Fishburger....was really good. Enjoy this place......
We both had roast of the day which was pork. Great meal with all the trimmings. Very happy we stopped.
Fantastic lady & her son Clint runs this place a good hot cuppa & food was very welcome. Clint was more than able to sort out a problem with our camper van so grateful we are.
Great kiwiana stopover!.A blast from the past. Lovely new owners, keen to please. Its been closed a while I hear, only reopened in July.. Garden bar, classic bar with darts etc, simple cafe, & accommodation too I believe. watch the world go by. Quart bottles of beer, chilled glasses. Local that is obviously enjoyed by the farming community. Mighty Rangitiki is only 3 km across the railwayline. If you want to experience traditional New Zealand, this is worth a stop. Highly enjoyed our stop. November 27th 2019
