As a midway stop for a trip, the guide recommended us to grab a pie for the breakfast.
A creamy chicken pie was my choice for the breakfast. This pie was absolutely delicious and the stuffing was plentiful that would make you full. The creamy sauce had a rich flavour of milk and butter.

It’s a nice place for food as a stopover! We got the all day breakfast but we found the food to be tasty, but average. At our lunch stop at the Wrinkly Rams in Omarama, we broke tradition by imbibing healthy juices, mostly because we noticed too late that they had beer. I had a Chicken Pie and a Giant Sausage, which as the name suggests, was just a Giant Sausage, and was awesome!
We stopped here on the way to Mount Cook for breakfast! The smashed avo and mince on toast were delicious and the coffee good. The service is wonderful and the atmosphere warm and welcoming :-) Highly recommend stopping here.

Nice stop for coffee, food, and souvenirs/gifts/clothing. High ceilings and enjoyable ambiance, surprisingly extensive gift and clothing areas separated into multiple open rooms. Right off the main road it is an easy stop along the way, at times tour busses stop here which can create quite the line
