Oh my goodness this place is glorious. I have been here a few times and have never been disappointed. The coffee was strong and hot. The food was brilliant, exactly what I wanted.

What a pleasant surprise it was stumbling upon this little gem. The staff were absolutely lovely and made me a killer iced latte. After I had walked out of the cafe one of the girls even chased me to return some change as I’d accidentally overpaid. A great experience all round! Hamish Dorrington Kakapo Business Sales

A great little spot with amazing food....coffee was premium too...best sausage rolls I ever had. Definitely recommend as a quick stop.Excellent atmosphere, reasonably priced 😊👍

Nicely done eggs and perfectly crisp rosti. However the seafood dish we ordered was not fresh and pricey for the small portion.

Our food and drink took some time to arrive but it was worth the wait. Dishes were delicious and were cooked to perfection. Drinks were tasty and refreshing. Beautiful decor and lovely service. 💯 recommend.

Have driven past many times and finally visited for breakfast. An open and welcoming dining room. A menu that covers all bases. Great coffee. Efficient and friendly staff. My eggs and bacon was delivered very quickly. I will return.

Get there really early for a table because this cafe is popular!! The food is great and the service is awesome

This is the best cafe in Auckland. We have been visiting here for a couple years and it is consistently delicious. Staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and nice and allow you to ask for certain things (E.g sauce on the side or no feta). They are fast and food is served hot, never forget any order. Even when they are really busy, they will try to find you a good table. Lovely furnishings and takes bookings. They have a cabinet for takeaway with tasty treats and takeaway coffees are available very fast. Berry smoothie is epic, and bacon Benedict is also amazing 🤩 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR EVERYONE AND ANYONE!!!!!!

A great local cafe with great food and very nice presentation. We had the Scotch fillet which was nicely medium cooked. Service was great too, very friendly and attentive.

This is one of my favourite locals. The service is always friendly and fast. Most importantly they make a great coffee and food. This time I had the Salmon eggs bene and my partner had an omelette. Good portion sizes for us. Pics after we started as we couldn’t wait to eat!

Delicious food that was cooked almost to perfection, drinks were great as well. The bagel had way too much cream cheese that overpowered everything else and made you sick in the stomach however the eggs Benedict tasted good so I definitely recommend it. The Omelette was not exactly perfect but still tasted good. Service was decent but could be better. The prices were a bit overpriced compared to other cafés.

First time here. Great service. Delicious food. Thank you! I visited here again with my wife a few days ago. The experience was the same as last time: polite & friendly service and outstanding dishes. The quality of food and presentation is so good at this cafe that it almost feels like I'm fine dining. These new pics show the squid Dish, the beef brisket , and the fries - delicious! Their cabinet food is also outstanding if you feel like just a quick bite and of course they make great coffee. In terms of overall experience, this has to be my favourite cafe in onehunga and we have quite a few to choose from!

Lovely cafe that I miss now we have moved. It's decor is modern and on trend. The staff are lovely and make sure you are happy. The food is delicious, the cajun chicken salad with humus was very yummy. Plus the smoothies are fabulous!Go once and you will return.

Ordered the rosti stack and healthy start. Both were good. We will have to come back one day to try the coffee and other items on the menu and cabinet food.

Definitely recommend the eggs bene, big breakfast (Trafalgar breakfast) & the Cajun chicken salad. Meals always arrive fresh and tasty. Staff are very friendly and happy to help, even if you want to make a complicated order. The cafe is very clean and everything is well presented. Also affordable for the quality of the dishes (which is amazing every time!). Never had a bad experience at no.117 😊

This is a second visit. The food was excellent though the king prawn was an odd addition to the big breakfast (actually I didn't like this at all... leave it off, it would be a significant improvement).<br/>The staff are super attentive, possibly too much so. An odd niggle, but please wait till everyone at the table is finished...<br/><br/>Otherwise nice to have reliably good food. Their rosties are excellent!

This salad was one of the best salad I’ve tasted! It was a chicken salad with lettuce and avocado dressing? The service was amazing and so was their coffee. Recommend this place.

My Mum and I came for brunch at this cute little spot!! I originally wanted the French Toast however was advised they had run out so I tried the Granola as an alternative. I was pleasantly surprised - beautiful selection of fresh seasonal fruit, vanilla bean yoghurt and a generous portion of granola. The set up inside is very modern, clean and inviting. This was my first time eating in and I would definitely go again. Keen to give their French Toast a go next time 😋

Friendly and efficient serving crew; well presented, delicious and generous sized food especially the eggs benedict and cooked breakfast; our kids love the milkshakes and we love the coffee. A firm favourite for our family:)

I really rate this place. Clean fresh decor, background music that won’t offend anyone. Divine. I had the smashed avocado, poached eggs and vine tomatoes with the salmon as an extra. $19<br/>Smashed avocado had edamame beans which gave it lovely texture. Nothing over cooked. Vine tomatoes perfect. Poached eggs nice amount of runny. This is my second visit here. I’ll come again - the coffee is excellent.

Ambiance is great very bright and inviting. Staff were super friendly and we were seated promptly. They do tend to get very busy so it’s best to get there early before the morning and lunchtime rush hour. Food and smoothies, however were both very bland despite being “pretty looking”. I am a little disappointed with the lack of flavours, however their price is reasonable and it’s “not bad” for a typical cafe I guess.

Cafe no.117 has really good service. The staff are friendly and the food came out in 10mins even though it was super busy. The food is nothing spectacular but the ingredients are good and fresh.

Can never fault this place. Amazing staff best service you will receive in Auckland. The poached eggs come on a hash rosti which is to die for!! Also there almond date smoothie perfect for the Sunday cure.

Really decent hidden away cafe near Onehunga mall and royal Oak mall.<br/>The scrambled eggs were super fluffy and light. Well presented and delicious.<br/>The big breakfast was made really well. Because we heard a lots of things about this cafe. So we decided to come here for brunch. We ordered the french toast and egg benedict with smoke salmon and chips. To be honest, the french toast was delicious. But the egg benedict they did not use fresh avocado. I thought they use chilled avocado. The latte was luked warm. I won't come back again.

This cafe was always really busy. Food taste delicious with nice presentation. Drinks taste great too. Service polite and friendly, super helpful.

The salmon bowl is so fresh and delicious! The staff is very friendly and really helpful. There are no high chairs which made dining with a bub a little difficult but it was worth it!

Last time I came here for brunch to celebrate my friend's birthday. The food there are tasted like the fact tree cafe which is located in northshore. Overall the food are delicious. The service is average.

It's a lovely cafe. The service of the staff is warm and attentive. The cafe itself has a nice aesthetic, clean lines and a great touch with their neon sign quote.<br/><br/>The coffee is great and the food that we've tried so far (even repeats) has been awesome. I have a hard time picking between their eggs benny (jeez, that potato rosti is on point!) and their creamy mushrooms (two slices of bread where one is in the bottom soaked in the gravy and another crisp one for mopping up that delectable gravy).<br/><br/>Their scones do require improvement but there are plenty other items that make up for this.<br/><br/>I'm happy to see that they're busy and there appears to be a sense of community in this place.<br/><br/>Would definitely recommend.

The chefs at No.117, are truely masters in flavour and presentation. EVERY meal I’ve had here has been an experience in mind-blowing elevated cafe food and very impressive customer service!! And don’t get me started on the coffee 😍

Great food and coffee here. We always drove past and wondered why this place is busy. Fast and good service. No idea why some people complained. The coffee is great. Best almond cofeee I had in Auckland. We ordered healthy start and chicken salad and a few items from cabinet. Even cabinet food were great. Simple food done well.

No 117 Cafe is is located where Trafalgar Cafe used to be, and thankfully that's the only similarity between the two. They are busy, especially for a place that's off the main drag, but that's usually a good sign right. Last weekend we found out just why this relatively new place is a favourite amongst the locals. The food taste as good as they look in the photos. Eggs bene and Healthy start we ordered were simply delicious, and presented immaculately. Coffee was rich and arrived within few minutes of ordering. Mains took a little longer but they were worth the wait. Service was fantastic, no complaints. Only minor issue (can't really even call it that, nitpicking here) was that the strangely small, but artistic looking knives were bit too small for their intended functionality. But hey, I'm giving this place 5 stars so it was hardly a bother. Loved it and will be back.

Best breakfast place I have been to in a long time !!! Their banana date and almond smoothie is delicious and the Eggs Benedict is as well! Well worth the money. A must visit spot! Would recommend to everyone.

Horrible coffe,not too sure what brand of coffee or milk they use but honestly not nice, food is good and space sunny but they really need to do something g about their coffee

Went here once and enjoyed it. Booked a second time for a 65th birthday celebration for 8 people. They accepted our booking and we were about to leave the house that morning when they rang to say "we are too busy you cant come". I was devastated as we had already booked and were about to leave. Not a good policy in anyone's book so be warned your booking is NOT a guaranteed seat. None of the 8 of us are prepared to try this place again. I tried convincing them to let us come as was too late to book anywhere else but No they wouldn't . Why they took casuals off the street who knows but they must have. Be warned

Our group of 4 had lunch here today. It was our first visit at this new revamped cafe and we were impressed. The staff were attentive, polite and friendly. The smoothie one had was delicious, the coffee was good , hot chocolate was delicious and the green tea had a hint of honeydew served in a glass pot and a glass cup and saucer. <br/>The food we ordered was nicely presented and was delicious. The portions were generous. It was very busy as it was a Sunday. The big breakfast was generous but did not need the prawn. The prawn and scallops dish was lovely but it would be good if the prawns were shelled with heads removed. <br/>We came with a young baby in a buggy which they accommodated without hesitation. <br/>We will visit again as it is worth trying other menu items. Other customer’s meals,we noticed, looked inviting. <br/>Thank you for a pleasant dining experience.

Came here up on a recommendation. Had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Eggs were awesome - well presented and very tasty. Coffee was great. Service was lovely. Cabinet food looked very tempting. I'll definately be back.

WOW!! I am saying the best breakfast I've had in Auckland all year! The food is phenomenal, the presentation on point but the flavour.... it's always about the flavour and they got every single part right!!! I got a crispy bacon bagel, everything cooked to perfection cant think of a single part of the dish that wasn't bursting with flavour... only thing I have to criticize is the fact we did wait a little while however the place was pumping with people so it was understandable.... seriously recommend this place for a Saturday morning breakfast that's going to put you in the best mood for the rest of the day. A genuine must try, you won't regret!!!!

Nice fresh clean comfortable space, I waltzed in early so no waiting for my order I thought? I went with the salmon bennie and a lat'e! <br/>The staff were attentive and polite and they seemed to have come straight from hospitality graduation? <br/>The order took a while to come out and the salmon bennie was different to what I was expecting, it was okay. I'll try something else or wait a while until they've finished there "shake down" trials

A welcome new local, love the transformation with a fresh look. Friendly service & the salmon omelette with oysters was an interesting twist.

Fresh new updo of a once fantastic Cafe. What looks great on the inside, brings overpriced food and long waits even when slow. $19 for basic eggs bene and a whopping $17 for a bagel with a bit of salmon and some avo. You're dreamin mate
