Perfectly cook chicken and taste on spot..love it

The quality at Onehunga Nando’s is really good. The chicken is always fresh and juicy. Visited on boxing day they were extremely busy but the quality remained same. Keep up the good work Team.

I eat here all the time. The place is great. I have food here either in store or takeaway/ubereats and it's always good no matter what. The Pita with Hummus and Periperi is so good, the Chicken Tenders are my favourite they are outstanding, the Mediterranean salad is really good and goes very well with the tenders. The price is pretty decent compared to other places you could go to near by so I have no issues at all with the pricing. The service depends on who you get, so not giving 5 stars but I am a pretty loyal customer and am always happy with the experience. Thanks!

Mark my words. If you want the best of Nando's; try this place. Not every franchisee follows the guidelines as they do. Their chicken is always a perfect size and marinated for enough time; even the chips are always perfect. Sahil, the manager, will always look after you if you raise any concerns. Thanks

Overall the experience was enjoyable however the staff at the time I visited was not up to standard, there were no smiles and food was plonked onto the table. On previous occasions at different store however the service and food was amazing, no doubt the food was well prepared at this place however I believe some of the staff Coul have been friendlier. The atmosphere is cozy and it is situated nicely with many shops around and there Re also good drink options. Overall a great experience though

Just had the chicken tenders and I can easily say, these were so delicious, I could eat them every day. The chips were yum with the periperi seasoning. Best of all the service was excellent thanks

Excellent service and food despite the heavy traffic of people, the place was neat and tidy as well. Our order came within a few minutes and was really good especially the crispy peri chips.

This place is so delicious. Definitely loved the combo platter. We tried all the different sauces with the chicken. My favorite was definitely the hot and bbq sauces. Even peri peri sauces were stunning. Best halal chicken ever.

Great service. Very friendly staff. Appeared clean and the food actually arrived quickly (especially for nandos). Rated great too. Just an all round pleasant experience

Good food as always reasonably clean and service was fast given time of day. Ordered a chicken wrap with lemon and herb dressing and a side of plain chips not overcooked., just right

Nandos oh so good. My all time favorite place. Tried Nandos UK, Dubai nd now NZ always consistent with the taste. Very good spicy. Loved the Peri peri fries and spicy rice.

Had a great experience at another Nandos. But came here wasn’t as great of experience. From service to food quality. Can definitely improve. I understand the low rating now.

This was the first time I’ve been to nandos and it was a very poor experience. I had a garden salad with chicken and the Chicken was dry and burnt. The tables and chairs everywhere were dirty too, there was food on them it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. It’s very expensive too for the quality and quantity of the food.

Now the half chciken looks like a quarter chicken, really the quantity is shocking and not only Onehunga Store I visited sylvia park and same story, nandos this is not good.<br/>Your half chicken is really really very less to price we pay.

First of all, I love the chicken with peri peri sauce, used to have them everyday, the salad tastes fresh (which is new), and portion seems to be a bit bigger than before, counter was not attended when we go in, had waited for around 10 minutes for someone to take the order, anyway, overall good experience

The only outlet that always serve consistent quality of dishes! Ordered their standard whole chicken with fries and coleslaw ☺️ compared to other places, their chicken is always juicy and tender!

My friends have always raved on/ hyped up Nandos for a very long time. So I decided to try it out to see if it was actually as amazing as people say it is. I ordered the lemon & herb 1/4 chicken (as apparently the mild is quite spicy) with peri peri chips. First of all the peri peri chips were probably the best chips I have tried in the whole 21 years I have been alive!!! They are so crispy & I don’t normally like MSG/ flavouring but wow this is a whole new level. Also, the chicken was grilled perfectly, slightly crisp skin but soft and tender meat😍 Since eating Nando’s for the first time last week, I have been constantly craving & dreaming about this experience 😂

I loveeeeee NANDOS!!<br/><br/>As a chain restaurant, the taste are generally the same. So<br/>you know what you're buying and what to expect. <br/><br/>Their extra hot sauce is to die for!! I like the fact that they will accomodate your order as much as they can (I ordered a whole chicken 1/2 churrasco and 1/2 extra hot).<br/><br/>Cute little place near Dressmart, neat and clean. <br/>Service was fast on the day of my visit.<br/><br/>Highly recommended to chicken lover 💜

food is good but whenever we order via uber they miss to put some of the order into our bag. This happened now 3 times in a row and they credit but we are hungry and would really have preferred the food. We decided that we will no longer do any Uber eats with Nandos Onehunga

Without doubt the filthiest restaurant I have been to. Booths that hadn't been cleaned or cleared all shift. Food smeared on tables and chairs. The toilets were filthy.  Surprised they haven't been shut down.

The hygiene level of this outlet needs to be rechecked. The waitress cleaned the table we were waiting for in hasty so we had to use wet wipes to clean the top again because we have young kids. The wipes ended up in dirt and grease! The food was ok but the cleanliness and service definitely need to improve.

Food okay but have been here 3 times in the last few months, and every time there has been a muck up with the order - given the wrong item, delay in the order or items missing etc. Have not experience this at other Nando’s, so would not recommend.

Good layout of this restaurant. Food on point. Can take awhile to dish out but a big fan of the nandos spices and sauces they put on their trademark chicken. A bit pricey so wouldn't eat here all the time but definitely worth a treat every now and then.

Went here twice with Silvia Fang after some retail therapy at the mall. The service is fast, food tasty and overall hygiene is good given the fact that this place would be really busy at several hours of the day. We were served by Kamal who was friendly and polite in requesting us to drop a feedback for the eatery. Besides the chicken which is a winner by default, go try the grilled liver if you are into organs 😈 Enjoy!!

There isn’t a huge selection of dinner options along Onehunga mall road but Nandos is always a no brainer. You can’t go past their peri peri fries and hot sauces! We’ve been here a few times for a quick bite and the service is generally good - we never have to wait long for our meals. <br/><br/>My go to for a healthy option is the new Superfuel salad with chicken tenders. You still get your hit of grilled chicken to your preference served with fresh leafy greens, feta, quinoa, beetroot, cucumber and tomato. Layer on some of their dressings and it’s a salad packed with flavour, well portioned and decent value ($15). It’s new to the menu! But gets two thumbs up from me. <br/><br/>You can also get the same salad in a pita. Also liking the grilled vegetables with halloumi!

Food is always decent, however customer service and hygiene is pretty shocking. Young girl taking our order was really struggling to take a simple order, was then getting frustrated with me even though I was being very patient repeating my order over and over. She was blatantly sighing and shaking her head at me, as if I was a major inconvenience to her. On top of that there were literally hundreds and sand flies around the cutlery table flying in and out of the sauce bottles. I swatted them away myself in an attempt to grab some cutlery.

Great place to go to with family, I love the variety of sauces, chicken was cooked exactly as I wanted. Service was good, did not have any complaints except the parking sometimes is not enough. Overall great place and would recommend

The chicken was amazing, juicy and fresh. Dint want to end up with anything spicy so went for the garlic and herb flavour chicken. But the options over the sauces you want was something I loved the most.

Went in for lunch today. Was not that busy was greeted and given a menu upon arrival. Ordered the supremo burger combo with regular chips and the quarter chicken combo also with regular chips. The restaurant was clean and tidy which was nice. They also have two entrances on either side and one door was open so had a nice breeze flowing through. The food was really good my burger was just as explained on the menu chicken was juicy and tender which was the main thing. The 1/4 chicken was also really good. Overall the meal was delicious and enjoyed that the restaurant was clean and tidy.

This place always seems very quiet when I walk past. Flavour of food is fine but texture was a let down. Chicken was dry. Probably the of the worst experience I had at a nandos branch

Don't believe what other people say. We had a great dinner here! The chicken was waaaaaaay different than any nando's we had. It was juicier and flavorful. The spicy rice was a gem too!<br/><br/>The staff also entertained us when we went and talked to them. The service was good, and the food was worth every penny. We'll come back here in the future to enjoy another round of the delicious peri peri chicken.

Terrible service. Tried ringing 5 times.. it just keeps ringing and no one answers. When someone does end up answering they just hang up on you. <br/>Staff are never pleasant and extremely rude

Came here with a friend. The place is a bit cold and nobody welcome us. The food has small portioning, a bit pricey. Service is alright but not sure if I will come back again.

Food is yummy as usual. Very pricey for the amount of food you get. To add garden salad is xtra when the sides should be included in price. The yummy salad dressing they used to have is gone :( average staff - the Indian men barely talk but the young girl that served me today was lovely. Corn is gross will never get that again and advise you not to also.

Ordered a Supremo chicken burger and 5 BBQ thighs. The food that came out was very disappointing. The chicken burger was of school lunch quality and the thighs were the size of chicken nuggets. Atmosphere was the only redeeming feature of this outlet. Overall, would not recommend unless you are an avid Nandos fan.

Paid $20 for a Supremo combo and food came Out not too bad , I do feel it's a bit over priced for the amount of food your getting , the staff member who served me was nice but noticed the toilets were not clean even when it says they had been serviced, other than that the food came out on time but paying $20 for a combo u would expect more

Horrible woof of cigarette smoke blowing through from the back door where people are smoking right out side the restaurant. Chicken is as expected with the Nando chain. Toilets could do with a hand dryer that dries your hands. Average staff.

I've been to multiple Nandos all over Auckland but this one had the best burgers I've tasted. I think they may have put extra sauce in (not sure what exactly the difference was) but the supremo chicken burgers we had here were amazing.<br/>Just stopped by for a quick lunch while shopping. The restaurant was nearly empty except for one table, service was average and staff weren't particularly friendly but aside from that the food was really good.

Food is always good at any nandos! Great tasting chicken my usual order is the esplanade! with peri peri fries or potato salad! yummy! *please note that this photo was taken at Sylvia Park Nandos unfortunately the search engine will not allow me to select it. I have always loved the Nando's chicken when I need my poultry fix. Whenever I come here, the 1/4 chicken is usually deliciously flavoured, moist and juicy. (A tip: Request for the thigh meat and not the breast meat, as the latter has sometimes been slightly on the dry side).<br/><br/>Their peri-peri chips are also scrumptious and I simply can't get enough of them - this is possibly my favourite side dish to order together with the chicken. Yum. #Challenge

Love their bbq ribs and peri peri chips! I just hate how they don't serve white rice all the time — or at least some branches don't. So we had to order the spicy rice. Their rice is a bit too dry for my liking though but when you're really hungry you gotta eat what you gotta eat. Anyway, restaurant was clean and tidy and service was okay but a bit lacklustre. I still enjoyed the food and would recommend it to people who like spicy food.

Officially the worse Nandos branch as far as I'm concerned!! Service was crap and even the food was not even up to their normal standards. The salad I was served, you could clearly see the lettuce in it was not cleaned properly as it still had dirt in it. And this is the only store that had ever charged me for more basting, none of the other stores I usually go to have ever charged me for it. And when I asked for basting, I clearly stated, just extra BBQ basting yet the server comes back with a whole heap of mild sauce and only a small dribble of the BBQ which I specially requested. The quality of the food and the place has really fallen over the years. I know I won't be returning to this I've ever again until they pick up their standards.

How can you go wrong with nandos, food pretty good but could be better. The place is tired and needs a good scrub and touch up on paint and upholsetry. A let down for a worldwide known chain<br/><br/>Staff dont seem to be awrae that there are paid guests around dining and seem to be having their own fun and loud conversations. Used to be a great place but after my recent visit I have seemed to have changed my opinion

I love nandos. The peri peri chips, the coleslaw and especially their extra hot chicken! <br/><br/>Unfortunately, It's become a splurgey dining place as I can't fully justify spending so much on chicken - i remember when I was 16 and we got the family fiesta meal for under $30. <br/><br/>The meal was pleasant, lots of extra sauce on my chicken which makes me super happy - the spicy cooking sauce tastes better than the extra hot peri peri sauce they have in the sauce racks in my opinion. <br/><br/>The burger is nice but for the price (and the fact there's more lettuce than chicken) it's not worth buying. <br/><br/>My pet peeve is watery sauce. It's pointless. Sadly their sauces are either all watery as hell or glugged up which makes it impossible to pour out and as if they have cleaned the pourers in a while. Another issue I have is that while I'm all for attentive staff, it makes it fairly awkward when they just stand at the till staring at you while you read the menu trying to decide what to eat. Not an overly important thing, but this is one of my triggers. I also didn't appreciate that it took my 5 attempts to get the attention of the manager (?) on his phone so I could get a takeaway bag. <br/><br/>My favourite is the New Market branch, the food always tastes fresh, the service is impeccable and it's a nice quiet place to dine without the hustle and bustle of people and cars.
