Review The Coffee Club - Onehunga

Had a wonderful time at this coffee shop. The aroma of the exquisite coffee, coupled with the warm and friendly staff, made me feel right at home. The burgers were a delightful surprise, especially the mysteriously delicious Korean-style burger—though I'm not exactly sure what makes it "Korean," the taste is unforgettable. Looking forward to visiting again!

Outstanding experience today with great services and delicious meals, especially the drinks they are absolutely incredible. Even though my husband wasn't a coffee person but he drank the whole cup. Will definitely come again, look forward to try some other drinks too!

Nice coffee and services. I think they have improved their customer service recently. The store is always busy. Their food is also good. The coffee club big breakfast was served with a huge portion.

The food is so good! Nice and juicy drinks very refreshing.

I like their coconut flat white, cake was a bit so-so but goes well with coffee. Staff were really nice. My partner left her mobile phone in the cafe and their staff took care of it/ returned it to us with no problem 👍

It was a busy day so I thought at Dressmart at onehunga for a brunch. I went to coffee club. I had a flat white and Flat Grills & Tacos with chips (beef brisket n cheese flat grill) big portion and very filling . The coffee was good, there has been some waiting for my meal but Oh Boy, it worth it, the food arrived hot and fresh. The meat was tender and the chips were crunchy. Staff are friendly but I wish they smile more. The experience was lovely 😊

Coffee is good and the vegan chocolate is even better. Staff very attentive and the place was spotless (covid hygiene protocols), I guess cause we were the only ones there with an hour before closing.

Foods are delicious especially the vegetarian options! coffee and latte here are all decent. Just the customer service needs to be improve coz when we came here to dine in always no one assist us to take the order and bring water. Thanks.

Service at the front, beautiful. Coffee, superb Food from the kitchen, Delicious. Everybody experiences good and bad times, the customer and those serving from the otherside of the counter, what I got was awesome. I look forward to going back, maybe just for the coffee club.

Was on my lunch hr - very bad service. received wedges after 33 minutes.(I called the staff all she said sorry it will take 3 minutes ) did not arrive !!! all they did was to offer another drink, i refused , but should have taken it as my drink was watered down from the ice. this is not the first time. won't be going back

Bad customer service. Rude staff. Very bad experience that I have ever had with The coffee club. Staff showed that they are not <br/>happy when customers come during the last opening hour. I never heard the staff say thanks or apologize to the customers.

Ambience was okay. Not the best coffee around, neither the best muffins nor cakes. And I think it's a bit overpriced (you know, people shopping here spend money at best value). Have better choices around.

Horrible service, we ordered items from the cabinet and took almost half an hour to serve to us. The guy taking our order had no customer service at all, and the coffee was meh. The staff looked so uninterested it made the food taste bad

Just finished having lunch and I am quite disappointed at the level of quality shown here. I am not usually one to conplain unless its quite bad. They clearly have no love for their food any longer, my eggs benedict looked thrown together with no care. Eggs were overcooked not just slightly but the egg yolk was the texture of hard boiled eggs. I am normally a fan of Coffe Club but I would not recommend this branch. I expect a lot better from a cafe chain like this. Extremely disappointing.

Worst coffee I’ve had. Extremely weak and poorly made. Regular coffee only has 1 and a half shots which is extremely odd to me. Would never come here again. Poor service.

Had a satisfying brunch after lot of shopping .. Loved the Mixed berry n Mango Smoothie n chicken club sandwich was very filling too.. quick

If you are out in Dressmart, feel like indulgeing in a cup of coffee, best to avoid the Coffee Club located inside. Ordered a take away flat white and a fluffy early this morning, well before the rush hour. Took them 10-15min to prepare the coffee and when it was done they had forgotten to put into takeaway cups. To top it off, coffee was lukewarm. No complaints from my 2yr old though, he liked the marshmallow.

One of the worst coffee club I ever been to.. but still better than other coffee places in dress smart so still come here every now and then but every time I come here.. horrible service! My typical experience would be like I was in the line to order but they took this lady's order first... I order my coffee and was waiting they serve other people (who were behind me and ordered after me) drinks first .. then when they brought mine they got it wrong .. I'm not the best English speaker in the world (as this being my 3rd or 4th language) but here they were not good  at understanding customers.. 

I'm not the person to be very mean when it comes to reviews but if I really don't like the place, I would not recommend it at all. Came here to have lunch before shopping. It wasn't busy at all as there are many vacant tables. Took a while for the guy at the counter to get our order (he looks very confused) and when it came, they were not even what we wanted. Obviously I have to tell the waitstaff that both of our orders are wrong. Instead of apologizing, she made us wait as they sort out the error amongst themselves. Finally waitstaff came back and said that they are what we have ordered and there was no mistake. I was so annoyed I told them we ordered eggs benedict and salmon and not mushrooms! In the end, they gave us salmon to settle us. It would have been better if they'd just admit to their mistakes and give us the food we paid for. This is definitely the worst Coffee Club I've ever been to. Plus food was also below par. I would not come back. Would give 1 if I can, but at least they managed to give us the correct order of chips so rating them a 2.

Food was good, i felt service was more about gettig the order and getting it done with it, pretty crowded place, monetheless the only place i prefer when shopping at dresssmart

If you ever feel peckish at Dressmart Onehunga, give the Thai brioche burger at Coffee Club a miss. What we got was a plain hamburger bun with yellowy sauce in a round patch spread on the top and bottom buns, some wilted greens and unexciting coleslaw. The chicken tasted ok but nothing to write home about. No sign of the promised red onion, mint, crispy fried shallots or any recognizable rocket.<br/> Their promo picture shows full size chips - we got overcooked shoestrings. One of the worst meals I've ever had. <br/>This is what we expect to get from their blurb:<br/><br/>Introducing The Coffee Club’s new Thai Chicken Brioche Burger! Crispy chicken schnitzel with Thai style slaw, fresh mint, coriander, rocket, red onion, crispy fried shallots and a creamy Thai style mayo. All on a soft brioche bun and only at The Coffee Club.<br/><br/>No comparison, really.

I normally enjoy going to a Coffee Club but the one in Onehunga mall is not up to standard. If you want a coffee, great. But I really would avoid if you are wanting food. The food is bland and uneventful. Try Onehunga Cafe if you are hungry!

This branch of the coffee club doesn't even deserve a 1/5!!! I'd rate this place -100/5 it is so poor! My partner ordered me an iced vanilla drink and pointed to the drink on the menu and a ginger beer. After about 10 minutes of waiting he received an apple cider ... So he returned it and asked if my iced vanilla drink was coming. After 5 minutes the lady returned and told me the frappe I ordered is gross and I then told her I didn't order a frappe I ordered an iced vanilla which she continued to tell me it's gross and I should order something alse. I have had many really nice iced vanillas from other branches so I was so confused as to why she was telling me the drink I want is gross. After 45 minutes of waiting my drink arrived, it was the most awful thing I had ever tasted! Also my partners ginger beer still hadn't arrived. I asked the lady why it tasted so bad and you could clearly see that there was soooo much syrup in the drink. She said "I told you it was gross" I explained that I've had this drink at other places and it was really nice but this one is unlike anything I've tasted before. My partner then got his ginger beer an hour later. The lady was incredibly rude and her English was bad.

Very poor service at least they could have given us a timeframe but to wait up to 20 mins for a latte, long black and cappuccino is very bad. Not good for your brand The Coffee Club

Been here two consecutive days. Maybe Because of the busy holiday rush , it took me 15-20 minutes to get my coffee. <br/><br/>The lemon muffin was really nice. <br/>The coffee was average. <br/>Service was friendly. <br/>Shortage of staff.

Very poor service. Staff served the wrong order and argued on top of that. Also a lot of communication barrier. Served latte instead of vanilla latte( my actual order) and when I notified them and requested to change she added vanilla syrup from top and got the same coffee back to me within seconds. <br/>

Used to buy coffee and some other staffs many times here while I was working in Dressmart. Their customer service is so good, all of them are very friendly and they do their job well. I love how they do my favorite coffee. In regards of food I think it's the same as most other The Coffee Club cafes, which generally serve nice food and breakfasts.

Got an iced chocolate, steak sandwich and fish/chips. Staff were a bit unorganized and didn't seem interested. The iced chocolate came, only asked for a little bit of cream but got quite alot .<br/>Meals came out, decent portion sizes considering the meals are on the $$ side.

I ordered large flat white. I thought they also served me a large flat white. But who can give a certain reason of these too much milk form ? Ummmmmm ...

This, 'The Coffee Club', shares what I do not like about all the Coffee Club franchises here and Australia, they charge to too much for the coffee and food. It is clean and tidy, the staff are fine. It is just not very special and too expensive.

Given this is a chain restaurant you would expect the same service and delivery of cuisine across the board. Unfortunately this was not the case for this branch. Upon being served the waiting staff appeared disinterested where we had to reconfirm our order as they initially took it down incorrectly (I mean how do you mistake a big breakfast for eggs benedict?). When our food was bought over, staff did not bring forks & knives and only when prompted did they realise this. The meal we ordered was highly disappointing. The steak was luke warm as it appeared it was heated up and unseasoned. The spread on the ciabatta was minimal to say the least. The eggs also unseasoned and distasteful. The sausages also disappointingly Luke warm and unappetising. We also happened to have a side order of Calamari. $6.40 for 6 undercooked and chewy pieces of Calamari. I would highly suggest you not bother going to this place as they have unfairly left a bad impression upon us in regards to Coffee Club as a brand. We will not bother returning again. The management & staff of this place should be ashamed.

The best mocha in town!! So creamy and full of flavor, always go back for more! Highly recommended. The food there was ok, big portion but lack of flavor

This place is located in a factory outlet mall, and is overall very noisy. The food menu is fair. Beverages are good. The staff is doing their best to serve customers amidst the noise.

Service was ok. The food took a while to arrive. The drinks were good. But! We asked for "poached eggs" with our big breakfast and we got like steamed eggs or however it was that they made it look "poached". The egg yolk wasn't runny. It just wasn't poached at all. The steak that came with it was sooooo dry.

Had a bit of an upsetting visit to this Coffee Club today. My mother not understanding something about coupons was dealt very badly with by one of the staff , who was speaking in condescending tone as if my mother was an annoying child to her. Later went on to complain about her to another customer.<br/>I hate writing bad reviews for places, but this was not the only fault I picked up. I ordered a white hot chocolate which in my opinion was terrible. Tasted like sugary warm milk and was not worth the $5.40 i was paying. Really disappointed with this Coffee Club.
