Really good bakery. Walked by the bakery and thought the displays outside were quite appealing. They do cakes, pies, breads, pastries etc. Went in to get a pie for lunch and saw that they also had a selection of good Filipino pastries. I purchased a steak and vege pie. Very tasty and crust stayed in tact. Also got pandesal (nice and soft), empanada (a little dry and thick for my liking but was ok) and ensaymada which was nice and light. Priced pretty well and staff were okay also.
Best Filipino like bakery in Auckland. Lady in the bakery is very kind.
I went into the store for a pie but forgot my wallet. The kind woman let me have one anyways and gave me the option to come back another day to pay for it. It made my whole day and reminded me how hospitable and caring filipino people are! The mince and cheese pie was so yummy and filling but her kind act made it even more delicious! Thank you!
Just walked past the shop and was attracted by the amazing display. All products were yummy and reasonably priced. Went in just to buy cinnamon rolls but bought some other pastries as well. Staff was extremely patient and well mannered as well. Highly recommended.
My partner and I visited there to have brunch, 11am roughly. We had some pies and breads. Those are awesome. Probably, their pies are the best pies we've ever had. Then, we visited again in the afternoon finally. Staff are from the Philippines apparently. I appreciate their warm welcome and kindness. We'll surely visit you. Sorry to give you late review. Cinnamon rolls are sooooo yummy!!!
Ordered a steak and mushroom pie was very nice, pastry was not exactly my style but flakey and flavoursome, big chunks of good quality meat and nice mushroom taste. Will go back and try other foods.
Excellent bakery with unique, fresh Filipino breads. Had the ube and pork bun - beautiful flavours. Will definitely return again.
