We were told this is a good place to eat and ooh la la we loved it! Creative menu, excellent cook on everything. Every dish has heaps going on but you can taste every ingredient. Really enjoyed the vibe too, homely, and a very nice touch with the wine on display.

We dined on a saturday evening and the plce was quite booked but the server (didnt get his name but he had cool dreadlocks!) was friendly and quick to help us out. We had a great time with some grilled scallops, gnocchi and potato bake. Adviseable to book on weekends to get guaranteed seats.

Environment, a stones through from the beach....gentle music, with the waves in the background, very nice 👍
Went for the scallops, perfect, soft and tasty.
And ribeye, with gratin, again juicy...
Overall a good spot, with high quality food with nice friendly staff too 😊
PS the local wine was delicious ++++

We had a fabulous evening with all 3 of us raving about the food and service. Highly recommend the EggPlant dish and lovely cauliflower salad. Hubbies Steak was equally as good as the last time we were there. Will return in the near future

The courtyard is a gem. Quirky and edgy and always fun, the locals love it and if you are chilled and ready for stunning food then you will too. Family friendly but not a fast food joint. Everything Brent cooks or puts on the menu is all about amazing flavours and consistent execution. The wine list is curated brilliantly and the cocktails are divine, especially if you appreciate the classics. Highly recommended if you love atmosphere, food and the joy of something colourfully different.

A party of four people. We were all totally impressed with our food which was well presented and absolutely delicious. The service was casual but friendly and helpful. Our third visit in as many months. The Court yard has definitely become our " go to" restaurant on Waiheke.

Food was phenomenal!! We ate it so quickly didn't even think of taking a photo. I had the ricotta gnocchi with lamb neck and picked grapes, it was outstanding (was very tempted to lick the plate). The calamari pasta with a caper, tomato and olive sauce was delicious, and the ribeye had a super crispy crust and juicy in the middle. Definitely recommend, reasonably priced and would 100% come again!

Absolutely love coming here! The Courtyard has a chill, friendly atmosphere and is where all the locals eat. I always have the hardest time picking from the menu as the specials are always so interesting and delicious-sounding but are up against some pretty stiff competition from the classic dishes available. Staff are very laid-back and warm, the place is completely unpretentious even though the food is good enough for it not to be! Definitely don't miss it if you make the trip over, bring a bunch of friends so you can get lots of plates to share!

Best restaurant on waiheke. All the reviews that aren't five stars are from pretentious tourists who have bad taste. This place is amazing a euro style neighborhood bistro with an awesome dog.

The staff are always super friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable for what you get.
Great choice of quality wines that are regularly updated.
I would highly suggest trying it out yourself.. So gooooood!
