Hard to beat this place ... fabulous food and fabulous service. Māori names on the menu are great. Lots of nice little extras that make it fun and inviting... like the map on the back wall. Good healthy eating options too.

Good quality seafood and the Chinese food is the best in town

If you have nothing else... you have to try Chips, Cheese and Gravy "Poutine". The Steak Burger was o.k. and the fish was a little dry but can't recommend the chips enough.. YUM

Only place I know found that uses real beef fat instead of the horrible industrial seed oils labeled as vegetable oil. I only ate curly fries and they were freaking amazing.

Fish was good, nice even batter--not too thick. Pineapple ring was delicious, but small and a 3/4 ring. Hot dog was good, but the sauce on it was substandard. Chips (we got the crinkle cut as opposed to chunky) were good, but were all small--the longest was maybe 2 inches long. Whole thing was light on salt and pricy for a standard chippy.

We drove out from Eltham specially for fish and chips at the beach, best take away ever. The snapper was beautiful and the chips took me back to my childhood. This was 1st class. Loved it, along with the friendly service.

Went two days ago. I order 3 fish but got nugget size fish were tasty but I prefer my fish longer. Chips were ok but that's about it. Friendly service. You have to ring while in covid19 then pick up pay inside get your meal from a outside window.

A nice clean roadside cafe selling a wide range of food. The fish and chips is pretty good and the surprising item on the menu is "poutine", the Canadian so called national dish. The staff is friendly and helpful. All in, a good place to stop on your road trip.

Best burgers! The buns were SO FRESH and the FISH was just melt in your mouth! Absolutely excellent friendly staff! Definitely recommend stopping by for a bite!!!

Service was lovely, outside seating was sheltered from the wind. I really enjoyed the fish but the chips weren't how I like them.
