Great little place with a good selection, outdoor seating and a nice vibe

This is a cosy ,quirky, little cafe in Opunake. We arrived with the lunchtime crowd so it got very busy and the wait time for food was longer than we expected. There is a tiny area outside which caters for those who enjoy the sunshine while eating. I ordered the BLT which was pretty good. My friend ordered a scone, custard slice and a cuppa. She said her order was delicious.

Lovely place for a break as you travel round the mountain. Food was delicious, and was beautifully presented. Pleasant, friendly staff.

Loved the vibrant colour and the garden room. Even plants in the cheerful yellow toilet. 19 for lunch. Delivered on time to correct person and dishes perfect. Salad especially yummy. Portions generous.

Legitimately excellent coffee (on a Wellington scale), food was very attractively presented, but a little inconsistent. Breakfast stack was good, but a little underseasoned. Pancakes were far too solid, but the fruit was great.

The Sugar Juice Café is fantastic. They offers a wide range of different food also warm and cold drinks. The Muffin which took was really delicious and warm. My cappuccino beside it was strong with nice chocolate on it. The decoration is colourful and gives a good feeling.

Great place for brunch quite a selection, they do some big meals and they're very tasty. Lovely atmosphere and nice people.

Great funky little cafe with an awesome breakfast menu. Seems to have a big reputation in a small town. People were coming in non - stop the whole time we were there. Very friendly vibe.

If you are looking for good food, then don't go past this place.

This was the first time I had been here and it was excellent. It was clean, well presented and the staff were really friendly and accomodating. The brunch I had was amazing and I will go back again.

Great Coffee and food. Very friendly staff.

Popped in for a coffee and snack. Americano was smooth and perfect temperature. I ordered the BLT and my partner the Mahgahume, both very tasted, fresh, hot and filling (I couldn't finish my BLT). Appreciated the homestyled potatoes and great service.
