Mall cafe, mostly open air. Very good coffee and delicious poached eggs. The breakfast menu is available all day and the cafe closes about 4. Opens nice n early at 7.30.

My oat flatwhite was amazing and great atmosphere! I'm definitely gonna go back. Friendly staff with skilled barista.

The cafe is located at one of the entrances to Eastridge Shopping center but can be a little hard to find if the walls are up, just keep an eye out for the tables and umbrellas. Quite a bit of seating outside and few tables inside. A nice little cafe and they have an interesting selection of food, particularly the Albanian scrambled eggs. However, I decided to try the mince on toast. Mince had a nice flavour and the eggs over the whole thing made it more decadent. The hot chocolate there was also quite nice with a good flavour. They also do have cabinet food inside by the counter if the menu items weren't appealing.

Our local for a fluffy, a coffee and some snacks. Food is good and consistent, coffee is wonderful and more 2year old talks about the fluffies and marshmallows for days :) The lovely woman with fantastic customer service really puts the cherry on the cake!

Some people need more understanding that hospitality businesses are currently in a very difficult situation because of COVID! If you can not wait just find another place. There are many cafe around this area. Absolutely no need to post a ⭐︎1. In my experience The Daily Mission is a great cafe with very friendly staff and their food is always fresh. I can only post one 5 star but I hope it will help the business a little👍 Thanks for the good coffee🥰(17th Feb 2022) I often have a good time and coffee here. Kind staff and tasty food. Thank you so much. (24th Sep 2023)

Popped in with a friend for a light pre Christmas lunch. We halved the spicy chicken roll as it was a generous portion. Washed it down with a refreshing lemonade. Very friendly service.

Local cafe in Eastridge. Prices are as expected compared to most brunch places, perhaps slightly on the expensive side but the portion size were generous. Enjoyed our meal with eggs poached well. Friendly staff. I would go back.

Poached eggs were cooked to perfection, I just question value for money as the bread was small and in general the portion was perhaps not what I’d call $20.50? The detox smoothie however was worth every dollar - it was beautifully balanced and blended well. Good customer service, would return.

I just had breakfast with my boyfriend and my dog which is fantastic that they are dog friendly! The food was incredible both the eggs Benedict and the creamy Mushroom were the best ones that we have ever had, the coffee was perfect temperature and really tasty. The staff extremely lovely. I am looking forward to the next time. Thank you so much!

Good lil' spot with tasty food and coffee. Read some bad reviews about the staff from people who have obviously never worked hospo. The Cafe was busy when we showed up and still got our food and coffee quickly. The staff were very busy but were still helpful and nice. Noice job mates

Have had mixed experiences here. However on the day I decided to review they pulled a doozy. Great service with fast food & drinks. 4/5 because of price.

Both coffee and food are great and in good present , we just can’t wait to dig in and forgot to take a photo :). We love the indoor and outdoor flow, enjoying a nice weather.

This buzzy little cafe is situated in Eastridge Shopping Mall in Orakei. The open interior makes the cafe look very spacious.

Their menu is pretty standard. I tried the Chicken burger and Wagyu burger, both were really tasty. The buns were grilled with a slight crisp, with a scent of olive. The chicken fillet was juicy and tender, flavoured nicely with the avocado purée and other vegetables. The wagyu was very meaty and moist as well.

Both came in decent portions. Priced at the medium higher end.

Wouldn’t recommend on their coffee, the flat white I had was slightly too strong and the presentation was quite poor.

Service was prompt, however improvement could be made in attentiveness. Our table weren’t wiped after the last customer.

Food: 8.5/10
Food presentation: 7.5/10
Service: 7.5/10
Ambience: 8.5/10
Value for money: 8/10

Price $20 per person

Their meal is gorgeous, coffee as well!!!

We ordered the chicken burger with fries and the steak with salad and fries. The portions sizes were good and both dishes were tasty and the steak was tender. For drinks we had the chocolate frappe and iced latte which, again, were good in size and taste.

Will be back when in the area.

There were three of us. A few empty tables but not tidied up (plates, cutleries of previous dinners were still left on table). The barista (perhaps owner) saw us waiting to be seated.
She was serving someone else, in fact asked me to move aside so she could pass and serve that coffee. All good in that, obviously she could see we were waiting for a table. After delivering that coffee, she completely ignored us and went behind the counter and carried on her barista role. Totally no eye contact.
So we approached another waitress who was also behind the counter. This lady was nice and came to clear our table and took our orders.
This was our first visit. A bad start but the food were nice especially my grilled chicken and chorizo salad. It was quite a big portion. This could be nicer if the chorizo was mild or medium but it was a bit too spicy. Coffee was nice too. We told the lady server we had Zomato Gold When we placed our order but our friend paid the bill and forgotten to present the Zomato Gold benefit.
I would have given a 5 rating if we felt welcomed but not. The food was good so will give it a 4. It is not very pleasant to visit a cafe/restaurant and felt not welcomed. Pretty sad that common courtesy is not even there.
This is a Zomato Gold restaurant. Join ZG with this promo cod LITTLETD to get your discounted membership.

Had a good read of the menu and thought we’ll give it a go with Zomato gold. The place looks new. Awesome allpress coffee and friendly staff. My partner got a burger and i ordered a grill chicken salad. Both were very yummy and good portion too!

The first time visiting this establishment my wife and I ordered chicken burgers with chips; the burgers were very good and the chips were just right. Having enjoyed our previous meal there, we returned two weeks later and again ordered chicken burgers with chips. However on this occasion the chicken on the burgers was raw and inedible. I brought this to the attention of the waitress, who was very helpful, apologized and said that they would replace the burgers which they did. The second batch was slightly better than the first but the chicken was still undercooked and inedible. In addition to this being a less than pleasant meal, there is always a danger of contracting campylobacter poisoning from undercooked chicken.
I may return but not for a meal, only for coffee etc

The food is absolutely delicious and the service is stellar. I ordered the Albanian scrambled eggs and I don't think I've ever had better breakfast dish. They cater really well for gluten-free and dairy-free, whilst also serving a sausage other than pork!!
Highly recommend and may just become a regular to this subtle-yet-brilliant gem.

Always a delight to bring friends here for a nice brunch. The paleo waffle is so nice and the Albanian scrambled eggs is a stay on favourite!

Food was yummy! A tad cold sitting outside, could do with some heat but service was friendly. Zomato gold member and had no problems using it. Very pleased. Will return.

Nice cafe, probably the best one in the Eastridge, Mission Bay complex especially with its outdoor area. The coffee and food is outstanding!

Lovely location with plenty of parking. Outside the cafe is still renovating so can be noisy. Once it’s completed should be a great place to chill.

The food tasted great, very delicious. Nice location, easy to find car park. Hot chocolate taste pretty good, foods delicious and ingredients are fresh, just a bit slow. Cafe opened the whole door, so it's pretty cold and windy both inside and outside.....hope owner can prepare some blanket or heater for customer, then i will definitely give 5stars.
