Appreciated the $15 winter lunch specials, other wise a little on the pricey side for the amount of food you get but the food is tasty, service was good, location and atmosphere are nice as well!

Love this place. Tasty, well priced food and the service is always fantastic.

Very good food and service. It’s main competition is the Casablanca down the street (which I have also tried) which is slightly better but this place is quieter.

Delicious food, bright and Mediterranean feeling ambience right on the beachfront. A little pricey for lunch perhaps but I'd go back!

An enjoyable dinner after a 3.5hour drive. Great service relaxing environment and plenty of options on the menu. Try it when in Orewa.

Kuzina is damn damn good well worth trying! Been here twice with my family and both times really enjoyed our meals. The staff are very very welcoming and sweet. Both times we've come here we've just ordered heaps of plates of food to all share and we always over order because everything's sounds and taste's so good. The most recent time we went and ordered all the plates to share the waitress said "do you want them to all come at once or different times?" and we just said "it doesn't matter bring whatever out" and our food all came at the same time!! this never happens usually one person is eating while everyone else watches them waiting for there food but nope not today sis, we got all the meals super quick and all at the same time. The food and service and all round experience is a perfect 10/10. If you're in Orewa go here! can't hype it up enough it's so good!! x

The design and vibe are definitely amazing, like a perfect place for any type of event. Good coffee and dinner place with attentive staff and a busy vibe. Recommended

My favourite place to go to when I’m in Orewa. Basically everything on the menu is so tempting to eat and the best part is whatever you order you know it’s not going to disappoint those taste buds of yours. Awesome service and lovely selection for the lunch and dinner menu! Definitely worth it.

The restaurant was only half full and when I asked to switch some bread for a gluten-free version (which is available) I was told that the kitchen is too busy to do something like this.

I ended up having to watch my family eat their meals with no food because I’m vegetarian too and they had run out of the only vegetarian meal I could eat.

I find it unbelievable in this day and age that a restaurant can be so stubborn and naive. This was directly communicated with the owner too and not a waitress.

A bit disappointing... we had fish and chips, lovely but a very small portion. We also had a chicken souvlaki but it was an ordinairy chickenkebab only twice that expensive. Tzatziki wasnt really tzatziki.
Next time we go to Casablanca.
The staff was nice, the place looks lovely but all and all the food wasnt that great.

Not somewhere you would go to Orewa for, but somewhere lovely to go in Orewa. Food and service is great. Decor is on point and restaurant has a friendly atmosphere. Had a great mojito and thoroughly enjoyed our chorizo starter and lamb shank main. Shared baklava for dessert and must have been the biggest piece of baklava ever.

Went there on a Monday for lunch, ordered the prawn and scallops fettuccine, was delicious and well balanced. Could have used some more maybe haha. The place was clean and tidy, music was loud enough, staff was friendly and food arrived fast enough. I'll be back.

Wonderful service. Loved the authentic Mediterranean atmosphere. No problems accomodating to vegans. Delicious food everyone at our table loved it. Another commendation to the service which was amazing. They brought out a candle for my grandmothers birthday which was very sweet

Excellent service and friendly staff. Steak cooked to perfection. Definitely would go again. Spanish wine and beer on tap. Worth it for casual dining.

This was our second time having brunch at Kuzina. Both times the staff were friendly and efficient with water being brought to our table soon after we arrived.

We ordered a summer breakfast, eggs Bennie and mamma bread, with coffees and a smoothie, which came to a total of $68 for three people.

The food here is consistently good and the coffee just how I like it. (Full of flavour without being bitter)

The music was ideal for a summer day and created a pleasant atmosphere.

If I was to make a minor tweak to my summer breakfast, it would be to include something (like spinach leaves) to mop up the egg yolk, which was deliciously runny.

Will definitely be back.

Great new place on a busy Orewa road just opposite the beach. Welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff are the first things that tick the boxes.
Coffee is strong and well rosted and desserts are beautifully done.
We will be back for dinner some day for sure!
Keep it up guys!

I was at Kuzina last Wednesday with my girlfriend. We sat on the street side on a blue& white bench under the red umbrellas. We ordered a dozen of mussel to start and she had chicken salad with brie and I had Greek lamb souvlaki. very tasty food, beautiful décor, Greek colors of blue and white soo nice and Mediterranean, smiley faces and wonderful service. we were very glad to find this place, will certainly come back when we are in Auckland.

We went to this new restaurant in Orewa on Saturday with another couple of mates. Always keen to eat out on the waterfront at Orewa, we know most restaurants well. Kuzina did not disappoint, arriving at 8pm the place was buzzing this in itself is a good start as some 5 years ago, when we first moved to Orewa, the night life shut down at 7 pm, things have changed heaps fortunately!
We started off sharing the Mykonos Seafood Feast platter then moved onto the Oven baked Greek Eggplant and The Original Turkish Iskender, the latter being their Signature Dish.
Food was great, excellent service and later in the evening one of the owners joined us and he served dessert wines with the apple strudel with salted caramel and shared with us his story about setting up the restaurant.
A great night, re booked already, table for 6 please!
Thanks
Rufus
Cannot wait to give you a trial run. Meanwhile, please would you revise your web page so that the menu is readable and printable? When taking guests out for lunch or dinner I like to be able to show them the menu to see if the fare appeals to them.

Amazing service, Adam was delightful & kept a playful relaxed energy up and the food was divine. From the cocktails to perfect steak & cutlets to midori catalana (like brulee). Also very celiac friendly with separate fryer and large GF menu. Yum.

After a stressful day decided to go out for dinner and as Kuzina had just opened decided to try it. The wait staff were very attentive and helpful and this was a bigggg plus for us as NZ wait staff are often not there when you need them. And then the food was better than great. We had the mussels , squid for an entree and then the eggplant and minced lamb for a main. Desert was apple strudel with salted caramel. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.
Good luck guys you deserve to do well. We'll be back.
