Review Charlie Coco's - Orewa

The chia pudding is an amazing breakfast treat! Really enjoyed the coffee too.

Had such excellent service here recently. With a milk allergy I needed to make sure there was no risk of cross contamination. The Batista was amazing and stated they have a dairy free milk frother which he would give another clean before making my coffee just in case. He was very friendly and helpful.

Just stopped by for a couple of smoothies and juices. The smoothies were made with fresh ingredients and there were a number of different milk options including organic cows milk, organic soy, coconut and almond milk. The smoothies were not too sweet but nice and creamy and the green juice we got was nice and tangy. We'll be back.

The perfect place to be nourished, be it through smoothies, juices, healthy foods or the lovely welcoming smiles of the crew. The staff here are genuinely happy to greet you, even if it is 5 mins before closing. Straight across the road from Orewa beach, it couldn't be more handy for coming in sandy footed for refreshment from the heat or for picking up something to take with you on a stroll along the shore. Love Charlie Coco's!

No doubt Charlie Coco's is Hibiscus Coasts best spot for fresh, tasty smoothies and juices! Great fun atmosphere and just a short walk to the beach. Staff are always extremely friendly and welcoming. Always a pleasant experience visiting Charlie Coco's 🙂👍🏼

Frigging awesome. We had a green smoothie, Betty smoothie and began chocolate smoothie. All absolutely delicious and fantastic service and friendly smile. Even had drawing / colouring stuff for the kids!

Was driving north and very tired. Stopped to get a coffee and your staff were really concerned and caring. Filled our water bottles and wished us a good trip.

Wonderful Place and amazing Ice Cream. The sorbet selection will have your mouth watering and you need a little something on a hot day in Jan!

Cute and quaint, always busy actually.<br/>I have not eaten here but I absolutely love the ice-cream from Charlie Coco’s. Their cones are also very yummy, on a hot day the ice-cream is moreish. Tried the mint, which was light and refreshing, the peanut butter choc chip had a super nutty flavour. <br/>Mmmmmmm I want one now!!!!

Awesome little spot in Orewa! Love the use of organic and free range produce, as well as the whole community feel of the clothesline that promotes local businesses and community events in Orewa. Coffee is awesome and food tasty 😋

Funky surfie theme and friendly staff. I love this place and started it to share my love for health and wellbeing with the locals and visitors who stop by Orewa. Always come here for my morning coffee one of the few places that offer almond milk and who can make an amazing almond milk coffee. They also make amazing wraps and salads!

Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is going past Orewa to stop in and try the delicious Gelato and Smoothies! Such friendly service and great quality products

Coffee average. Great location but a great selection of organic and natural produce. Plus very honest staff who realised she'd overcharged me. Next time would love to try the smoothies. Also sticks raglan coconut yogurt! Worth trying

Charlie Coco's is a little healthy juice bar/cafe on the main strip of Orewa. It's the size of a shoebox but somehow it adds to the characteristic of the cafe. I love how they use organic produce and that the menu promotes healthy goodness. I like that they stock Fropro protein icecream so I can pop in when I'm in orewa for a healthy treat. They do great coffee too! The lack of food is a little disappointing though...

If you live in Orewa or are passing through, make it a point to stop in at Charlie Coco's. The teachers in the English dept at Orewa College around the corner are nearly at the stage where we should be starting a tab with the regularity of our "Juice/Smoothie Runs" for a healthy and delicious pick me up. Treat yourself (and know you are filling yourself with goodness at the same time!)

I went here as I passed the shops near by Orewa Beach. The place was quite small but I decided to come in and try some ice cream. I decided to try Little Island Chocolate ice cream - it was made from coconut! gluten free, dairy free are guaranteed. Moreover, it was really YUM! Love the coconut ice cream. The only problem was the price, it was quite expensive but it was worth.<br/><br/>I also tried my niece's chocolate gelato from the ice cream stalls - regular milk-based ice cream. And it was really YUM as well! It was not as sweet as the other gelato I usually found since I can taste the dark chocolate within it.<br/><br/>The service was really nice - the waitress who served us was friendly. Look forward to come here again, it was really pleasant here.

Charlie Coco's is a little ray of sunshine in Orewa's rather bland and boring food scene. We love being able to drop in with our kids and grab a gelato, smoothie or a healthy wrap.  The owner Ramona and her staff are friendly and helpful. Recommend as the place to grab fresh food on the go in Orewa!

This place is a legend. Fresh ingredients, good prices, and warm friendly staff. It's run by a local and not a chain, which is always nice, all the cups are compostable and they make heavenly treats which are Paleo and refined sugar free, gluten free dairy free. There is something for everyone, juices, smoothies, soups, salads, treats, eat.. It's a real delight to be able to have something like this in orewa. Plan to visit this place soon, you will not be dissapointed.

We love the yummy fresh and healthy salads and wraps @ Charlie coco's. The peanut butter Choc chip gelato is also fantastic!!! Great new place for Orewa. They also do delicious smoothies. We will be coming back for takeaway lunches regularly

Charlie Coco's is a great place to go get a cup (of your choice) of gelato or a refreshing smoothie on a hot day! The workers are very polite and helpful. One extremely kind server suggested using apple juice instead of milk or water for a smoothie of mine. The apple juice made it taste fantastic. They have a lot of gluten free gelatos and many gluten free smoothies. I love the decor-surfboards, oars, wooden panels, colorful walls, wood counters and straw light fixtures. One big disadvantage is that they do not have any seating areas or tables. They have a bar that would fit two or three people, but the other seating is outside only. The outside seating is sticky and not very clean. My sister and I went there for smoothies and it was raining really hard, so we had to stand inside with our drinks.
