The location is gorgeous. Wonderful coffee and cake. The customer service was amazing too!

Just finished the most delicious coffee & walnut muffin! Moist and flavourful, not too sweet. Hot chocolate nicely blended too.

I love this cafe, it's friendly and bustling. The carrot cake is divine as is the japanese lime green tea, and when you're finished you can explore the art 😊

Lovely little cafe in Estuary Art centre

I liked the coffee i like the style of the place, freindly staff. I just had coffee and carrot cake with youghurt. No fuss eating. Cabinet food. Panini , yes i definetly say go and sit and enjoy. Art centre next door. Op shop behind. Camping across the road. Eastury and the sea next door. Love it.

The service was very slow. We had to wait a long time for our food. I think they must have been short staffed though.

Wow! Very impressed. A barista was incredibly friendly and helpful. I walked in asking for his suggestion and out comes a perfectly steaming scone smothered in pesto (and a touch of butter) and a slice of tomato. It was incredible, and only $5! The soy flat white coffee was on point too! Thank! (Ps. Nice lip piercing!)

Consistently warm, friendly and helpful staff. The best coffee on the coast which is always well-made. I would like to see more healthy food options tho.

I am enjoying the great service and the good people who work here. If possible, I wish the menu was wider. But it is what it is, well done guys!

I can't work out why I've never been here before. It's a lovely spot with the art Gallery to browse while you wait for your coffee. <br/><br/>The service was friendly and I was very pleased to be offered Almond milk. <br/><br/>We had lattes, one almond and one regular and a mint hot chocolate for our daughter. The coffee was a little bitter for my personal taste, but I know plenty of coffee lovers who prefer it that way. We were not offered water but found it easily available.<br/><br/>I had a banana cake and my companions had a carrot cake and a beautiful red velvet cupcake. We were offered cream or yogurt with the cakes and as u can see in the pictures, All items were presented beautifully.<br/><br/>

Our favourite local cafe. Why? Friendly attentive service, yummy food (especially our favourite cookies) and - of course - great coffee (including the best iced coffee anywhere!). You guys deserve to do well as you put so much into your business! Thank you

Lovely food, lovely coffee, service with a smile. How nice to be treated so attentively. I found the welcome I received delightfully refreshing. I was impressed by the service and charm of all the staff at Driftwood and with the care they gave to my companions (both human and canine). I highly recommend a visit and wish them continued success.

A perfect cafe in the most artistic location.  After the visual delights of the Estuary Art centre in Orewa, we decided to indulge in some Flat white and sweet delights at the Driftwood Cafe.  <br/>Much to my embarrassment, I could not pay for what we had ordered. My card did not work and I had no cash on me.   I had taken two  gentle senior ladies out for the afternoon and did not have the heart to disappoint them.  The very kind lady of Driftwood cafe offered to email me the invoice with the bank account no, so that I could make the bank transfer later and not disappoint my companions. I was very touched by the kindness.<br/><br/>The food arrived exquisitely displayed and everything tasted fresh and scrumptious.  <br/>This is my personal tribute to the very kind lady who trusted me enough to let us enjoy the wonderful afternoon and saved me the embarrassment.  This is one act of kindness that I will not forget in a very long time and I will be eternally grateful to her.<br/>Of course, I will tell everyone I know about Driftwood cafe and its wonderful food, service and delightful staff.<br/><br/>Thank YOU.

Fantastic food and beverage options. A relaxing cafe environment attached to arts centre. Perfect place to finish after a walk, run or cycle around the Orewa Estruary and Cycleway. Service is always friendly and attentive. You won't be disappointed. Now our new local.

I love the coffee here, every time I pop in for a coffee it's never a disappointment and I do drink a lot of Lattes and have had some not very nice ones but never from Driftwood. Love the atmosphere, there's no rush, have a coffee/bite to eat then check out the art or walk the estuary! Best location!

I love this cafe. The coffee is delicious, and I am fussy. <br/>They have a youth development program that helps young people get into employment and are trained properly in the art of cafe services and coffee making. The team are friendly and really care about the product they make for you. <br/>The standard of food is great and with a bigger kitchen coming, I am excited about the increase in the homemade variety of food.

Driftwood constantly had exceptional All Press coffee. I come in every week on my work breaks for a mocha or Otago Summer Fruits tea. Cheery down-to-Earth waitresses and baristas. <br/>Definitely recommend if you're passing through Orewa.

The food is fantastic, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the allpress coffee is amazing. Never had a disappointing coffee. Anyone who is in Orewa should stop in and grab a bite.

This is a great place for lunch on a sunny day, or a coffee on the run. Always a warm friendly atmosphere, dog friendly too. Yummy menu with plenty of tasty treats to choose from.

Such a lovely cafe, would thoroughly recommend! The service is always excellent- the staff are so kind and friendly. Coffee is delicious as is the raspberry cheesecake brownie- my absolute favourite! I only wish I lived closer- I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Best coffee in Auckland! Awesome smoothies too. Brilliant service everytime & nothing is too much trouble! Situated by the beautiful Orewa estuary so a perfect place to get coffee before and after a walk or bike ride :)

Such a great cafe - plenty of parking, fab food and a great destination surrounded by art in the Estuary Art Centre's galleries. Fun, family friendly, dog friendly too
