On a positive note, this restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere, particularly on good weather days, with seating and tables overlooking the seafront. It stands out as one of the few genuine beachfront restaurants in the area. The food, while not exceptional, had a satisfactory taste, although it was a bit salty for my liking, possibly due to the use of salted butter and additional salt. The bread, unfortunately, was slightly over toasted. Despite these minor issues, the overall dining experience was enjoyable, and the staff members were friendly and accommodating.

Quite nice and relaxed. Bit noisy and we had to rush because kitchen was closing. Check hours before going to have more time selecting your meals. Large portions, enjoyable meal though and service was great

Had a lovely lunch today with friendly service. Food came out very quickly. Great options for kids. Enjoyed the fish tacos. Generous sizing for all meals that were ordered. Lovely setting and relaxed atmosphere.

The calamari was probably the best I have ever had and I eat at a lot of restaurants. So so tender and beautiful sauce . Chips brilliant too😀 Best view in Orewa!! Only grizzle was we weren’t offered water otherwise service was fine. Will be back next week!!

I organised a baby shower for a friend with the help of Steve at Beach House Eatery. Steve was so responsive to all my emails and the event today was so great. The servers were incredible and patient, the food was outstanding, the view is something else and I absolutely cannot fault anything. Highly highly recommend. We've all come away on a high!

The most delicious fish and chips with the freshest of Snapper, and the most amazing view when sitting out on the deck.

10 ladies gathered here for a festive Christmas lunch yesterday and by all accounts the food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. Great communication too when I booked snd had to change the numbers before the actual date. Thanks Steve 🤩

Had a fantastic time at the beach house eatery yesterday. Simple pub food but was so fresh and tasty. It was labour weekend and very busy but staff were great and went to great lengths to give all diners good service. The atmosphere was fantastic it was a beautiful day the views were stunning. We stayed about three hours but never felt as though the staff were trying to hurry us along so they could reset the table for more diners, although we did move outside eventually as it was such a nice afternoon. I would recommend the beach house eatery to anyone who is looking for a child friendly restaurant. Helen.

This is definitely the best place we've eaten at in NZ. We stopped off here on our way to the airport and sat on balcony. We had a chicken and bacon pizza, a tomatoe and mozzarella salad and the most amazing calamari I have ever eaten. We couldn't fault the service either. I am so sad we are at the end of our holiday as I would love to be able to come back here again. Maybe next year 😁

This place is next level !! We had dinner there and the food was just amazing....equally so were the friendly staff....! Brisket burger, fish burger, brisket pizza, chicken burgers, chips, pork belly etc, etc....we had a feast !... I also liked the blankets offered when it gets chilly outside on the deck which is very thoughtful...Very relaxed dress code and atmosphere, we'll be back!

Exceeded expectations!!! I ordered the seafood pizza and the salt and pepper squid both were delicious, crispy all over and balanced! (NOT oily) We were greeted with friendly staff, who were super down to earth and genuine. The food came out fast and hot, a perfect moment on the beach devouring!! 100% looking forward to bragging about the food and coming back!

Staff are great and location is fantastic. A good selection of beer and decent servings of tasty food. Fish tacos are my regular Friday lunch meal. They have CrowdDJ so patrons can choose what music to play from their phones, a great app. However, the choice of tracks to choose has been limited at the Beach House since Christmas, so the music selection is not so great now.

Very good value for money, got fries and salt and pepper squid, the staff making them was very nice and helpful. Chips were only $6.90 and there was so many of them, that’s why this review is 5 stars… great chips for an even better price!

Lovely place to sit and have a drink,went for a reunion and was poorly disappointed with the food.Four of us that went were all unhappy with the slap up food they served.Burgers were dry,fish and chips were greasy and horrible and the pork belly bites were dry and disgusting definately go back for a drink but certainly would never go back for a meal,so not happy a waste of money to be fair,very dissapointed.

Magnificent view and location 👌 True beachside dining at its best! Great menu and beverages. Perfect year round to sit back and enjoy the view.

What a fantastic venue... pool table and sports screens downstairs and super views from the top balcony. Love the onion rings and the food and service are both awesome!

The interior is a lil run down it seemed but that was all forgotten when our burgers turned up and what an amazing burger it was. And views of the ocean to match.<br/>
