Went for lunch today, and my wide and I enjoyed our food. Salmon Benedict for my wife and the big Breakfast for me. Everything was cooked perfectly.

Nice place to relax and enjoy a coffee while working or catching up with mates. Can get noisy at times but still the best cafe around. Below scores are out of 10 Customer Service 8 Food Quality 8 Atmosphere 8.5 Presentation 8 Location 8 Parking: Lots of parking available. Overall 8

I believe this place is under new management! It was a lovely experience to visit this coffee club with a large group of rest home residents, we rang ahead and they were very accommodating and had a table of 10 ready for us, The beverages were all excellently made, and food was very fresh and delicious too. The cafe is very well maintained and stylish, I especially liked the plants hanging in the window, will be back

I have been here before and I cannot recommend it enough. Friendly staff, quick service (I did go during the day on. Wednesday) and I have been on a busy day but still great food and reasonably priced.

We were nicely greeted by the owner himself Scott, there's definitely suttle upgrades since new management has taken over..and these are also towards the children..new mocka highchairs have replaced the cheap plastic ones..kids art section has stepped up..it feels much more family orientated. Before Scott introduced himself he offered our toddler a colouring book and crayons etc..he even stepped away from the counter to come around and grab them for us, this was done without any hesitation..she was extremely happy, it was a nice extra touch to the service. Now to the food and coffee, I didn't try the food to be my strict eating plan, but in all honesty it did look great! The short black was made perfectly and not to overpowering or burnt. Overall really impressed with the team, Scott also mentioned that he has more plans ahead and seems excited to put more personal touches into his new venture. That's Scott waving in the background, say "hi" to him he's very approachable and great to talk too.

I have provided a 5 star as the food and desserts were nice, a little shy on the sizes of the slices compared to other franchises. Coffee was great and the layout was beautiful with lots of Christmas spirit. Only downside was that the staff member could try put a smile on his face.Happy to come again though.

Coffee and scone were nice but the blueberry muffin was a huge disappointment because it was extremely crumbly and only had 1 blueberry in it.

I rather like this particular Coffee Club. It's always clean and the service and food are both really good.

Excellent food and coffee. The young waiting staff are great. The 20% discount for we oldies is much appreciated.

I'm not giving 5 stars for just one reason: the older Asian woman who appears to be the owner or manager, and who usually serves at the counter, is the most deadpan miserable-looking person imaginable. We go there 3 or 4 times a week and she never greets us with more than a grunt. She will not crack a glimmer of a smile, or acknowledge us in any way.

After a couple of years I don't know any of the staff's names.

She may have personal issues, in which case she should seek help or get another job, but I'm on the verge of sacrificing the discount for the nice welcoming staff at the Hibiscus and L&G's cafés in Whangaparaoa.

Definitely my go-to place when I need an escape from the hustle and bustle and am craving excellent coffee! The decor of this place is fantastic, staff is friendly and the ginger latte never disappoints

I came in with a big order, 5 different drinks. The gentleman behind the counter, Lee, was polite, professional and service was very fast. Drinks were excellent. Overall, a great customer experience!

Loved my mocha today...
Got tempted by amazing brownie and vanilla custard slice.
Beautiful location... Will definitely go next time to try something new from the menu, only after I could resist something from bakery options.

Decent food.
Ample of seating space indoors.
A few tables outdoors for a sunny day.
Was not too busy on a Saturday with a farmers market next door. Which is yay for me.
Had the club sandwich, french toast, eggs Benedict and Bruschetta. The sandwich was nice with crispy fries on side. The french toast was underwhelming. The eggs in the bene were cooked nicely but the ciabata bread was very dry. The tomatoes on Bruschetta was very fresh and yummy.

Pricewise: $40 for 2
Returns: I might try something else.

Friendly staff, good customer service. Both coffee and meal served fast and was pleasing to the taste buds. Vanilla latte was real nice and allowed me time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere as I waited for my meal. The Veggie Gourmet Brioche Burger tasted really nice and flavoured well, portion size of the burger with the side of fries really complimented well.

Went to coffee club Orewa today for lunch. We had good coffee and was enjoying the food until a very large cockroach walked by our table. I felt disgusted and sick and when I told the girl at the counter she said it must have come in the door and have a nice day. Will not be going back there again.
Great coffee. Very friendly service and atmosphere. Do check out the coffee sizes, i always order the large and then realize that the large is truly large. The medium is what most other places consider a large. Great place to meet friends for a cuppa.

I went to the Coffee Club a couple months ago. I tried one of the pastries marked Low Gluten. What was that supposed to mean? I asked the lady behind the checkout and she said that Low Gluten means gluten-free but they just do not label it that way. She did not say much and was a bit snobbish. None of the waiters or waitresses said "have a nice day" or "please enjoy" or anything else. It felt as it they were displeased that I was there. Also, the pastry was not cheap. I will not come back to this cafe.
