Amazing food and the staff is super friendly, a very underrated spot in Orewa but definitely a must try ☺️. Will definitely be worth coming back for!
We regularly go to Muldoons, food very reasonably priced and have never been disappointed with quality. The steak meal is very good, huge piece of steak and always super tender. It is nice to feel it is our local and deserve more diners.
Went here yesterday, a Sunday, to hear live jazz, which was very enjoyable and well attended. It looked more like a bar/bar than a bar/restaurant but since I was chatting with someone after I decided to order food as well. I had the fish and chips which came with salad which had a good dressing drizzled over, very nice chips, just perfect. The fish had butter and capers sauce and was terrific. It cost $18 which I thought was really reasonable.
It's not a super glamorous looking room, but the bar is nice, formal and traditional. The staff friendly, in particular the male bar attendant, who was also the food server and order taker. It's a great location, with the sea just a short block away in a busy, buzzy part of the Orewa complex.
Had such a great time and dinner with my mates...

got to hand it to the new owners, they have done an amazing job with the food. This is my second time here and the pizza was probably one of the best pizzas we have ever had...parents ordered the pulled pork pizza and kicked total ass against takeaways such as hells and dominos...very very cheap too only about 16 dollars and you actually could not finish one on your own...all other ordered food amazing too....there is real effort that has gone into what they serve and it deserves to be busier.... our waitress was lovely, she made a real effort and even helped us get a table in the bar with the band...ambiance needs a bit of a makeover, but hey no complaints here, made up for it in service and good well priced food...definite points to the chefs and wait staff...and totally recommend a visit...
The chef and bar man Misha is brilliant steak is one of best in Orewa he always remembers your drink everytime you go and his service he goes above and beyond 😀

The staff are great, from management to chef's. Good family vibe. Had baby shower there, ladies did there thing, gas bagged, games etc. Guys well the adult thing, talk pu-kax and got rotten lol.

It was wonderful, great food, people were amazing, staff was fantastic, DJ was excellent, everything was just what I asked for and more. What a way to spend your 30th. Thank you to the manager and to all your staff, I will definitely be back. Thank you again for all.
I stop off here before visiting my father. Always been welcoming even for a country 'lad' and feels like a natural watering hole for me. Good prices too.
