First time here, and our breakfast was awesome, staff are awesome, atmosphere is awesome, friendly patrons, smiling happy people, i do recommend this place, try it for yourself, i will definitely come back with more Whanau, cheers guy's 🌺😀🇳🇺🌴🌿💙

Amazing food the service was quick. To add on-top of all that excellence the staff are friendly would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area of Orewa. Overall an 12/10!!!!!!

Just a suggestion for the chef. Poached eggs should have a runny yolk and the tomatoes should be fried when you make the big breakfast.

Building looking a little dated, however the service was good, coffee tasted fine, priced well.

Had the French toast the other day, and both the taste and presentation was impeccable. The coffee and bakery was also fantastic.

Came here for the first time and left happy. We had the eggs benny and an omelette and they were nice and were good portion sizes. I tried a white choc mocha and it was delicious, would definitely order again. The women who was working was like an octopus, serving customers, running out food and cleaning and clearing tables, while also chatting with and greeting everyone who came in.

We occasionally come here for a family breakfast. It’s a lovely setting with outdoor seating options.<br/><br/>Today we had three pancakes with fruit and a bacon breakfast, with two kids juices and two HUGE soy flat whites. <br/><br/>The pancakes were a bit sweet for my taste, but the fresh fruit was perfect. They could put the syrup on the side, so the sweetness can be adjusted to taste.<br/><br/>The service was good and water is available on the side.<br/><br/>The free Wifi was easily accessible.<br/><br/>It was reasonable value at just over $60 for our family of four.

$3.50 for half a cheese sandwich and another $4.50 for a soggy pie I think not! Step your game up . A lot of competition around so won't go back. Rather go to new world for lunch.

Avoid this place like the plague. Very, very underwhelming experience. My partner and I ordered a coffee and breakfast each. 20 minutes later, and noticing other people who had arrived after us being served their coffees, we asked where ours were. They had forgotten to make them.<br/><br/>45 minutes later and the food still had not arrived. When we got up and questioned the staff, they told us that they had forgotten about us. It had not even been cooked. We asked for a full refund and left.<br/><br/>Admittedly, the cafe was quite busy when we were there. Other patrons were in the same boat as us in that they also had been completely forgotten about. This place is an understaffed, disorganized mess. I can't comment on the food as they didn't bother to cook it, but the pricing is far too high. They charge fancy cafe prices, yet the place looks like a complete dump. The only positive I can find is that the sole waitress was very polite and friendly.

Delish had a filo coffee and cake all were really nice service was great and in a nice relaxed atmosphere...nice outlook onto Hilary square too.

Friendly service. The eggs were a little undercooked (poached whites still clear) for our liking. Food was still tasty and we didn't have to wait long. Would go back.

Been going there for about 18 months the COFFEE sizes are great now. A bucket !!!! sorry to say however the food both in quality and price lets them down big time. We no longer bother with the food. Its a shame because outside seating is lovely in the sun.

Love the pies and coffee!!<br/>yes it is not the cheapest place to go but the quality and consistency of the food has been good for years.<br/>If you want a cheap boring pie there are plenty of low quality bakeries to get cheap crap from in orewa. if you want quality for a bit more money go to farm house!!

Prices are too high for what you get. A microwaved egg is not a poached egg. The food was just cooked, but no heart, no real flavor. Wasn't very comfortable.

Been going here for a couple of years..A nice selection of sandwiches &amp; yummy sweets - my favourite is the lemon tart! Loving their pies too! Outside seating area is awesome for summer!

Been going here for years for a coffee and a bite of food. Always friendly. Food is basic but good.

Well overpriced for the quality of food. Dont think the coffee cups could be any smaller, yet they still charge a high price. Does have a lovely outside seating area, which I think is the main attraction for their customers.
