Review Homemade Roast Meals - Orewa

Hands down the best roast meals I've ever had. I first tried this couple's roast 11 years ago when I used to live in Orewa. I've moved to different countries and to other parts of NZ since and I always go back. The owners are very nice!

EVERY TIME!....so deliciously scrumptious. Ordered the beef roast tonight, so tender and melt in your mouth. Veges good, service good, crispy potatos goooood. Highly recommended. Thanks again team.

Clean, warm atmosphere, friendly owner, good portion. Tasty meat,and roast potatoes. I also like the juicy fried chickens.

Normally I’m a big fan of this place. Not sure if maybe it has changed hands... tonight not even a piece of crackling with the pork and definitely less meat than it used to be. Very disappointed tonight

I have visited 3 times now, and I am about to go back for more, as in I am currently less than 400m away and my stomach is rumbling.<br/>Yum. It's like food my folks used to cook when I was a kid. I burn toast, so this is a godsend.

I have just deleted my previous good review about this place as the service we received on the weekend was pretty bad! <br/>I had placed an order a week ago for a large meat and potatoes but when my husband when to pick the order up they said there was no order and made him feel like it was his fault for not placing an order and were NOT nice about it at all. This was all happening 30 minutes out from guests arriving for a large lunch!!!!! They then said they would put together something but did not have chicken which is half of what I had ordered! Half way though all this they found the paper they had written my order on and said sorry but we still paid full price and did not get what we wanted and there has been no courtesy call to the person that placed the order about the inconvenience. Needless to say we will no longer be regulars to this place!

This place has delicious food, yet most of the times I have been here the service hasn't been that great. Both owners come across as unwelcoming and gives you strong rude looks which puts me off going here.

The food is fantastic it's always fresh and great quality! The stuff are always friendly and work very hard to make sure that their restaurant is in top condition! Would defiantly recommend to anybody who wants a good meal at a fair price!

I often call in here to get a takeaway dinner for the family on my way home from work. Our fav is the Lamb, with mint source, but they are all nice. We always order extra potatoes, because they are very yummy. <br/>This would be our fav out of the roast shops in this area.

I found them! Visited these guys for years at their old location only to go back and find it got turned into a carpark. Stumbled across them about 3 weeks later along the main road and wow was I so happy. Pork roles are where its at. Apple sauce?yes please. Gravy? yes please. with a few roast potato's and boom tummy full. Love this place. recommend to anyone who wants a decent roast meal

A fantastic Roast Shop with very polite and friendly staff which made my evening warm and great. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and the gravy was to die for.

I have been coming here for years and it's always satisfyingly delish love all the roasts best roast potatoes ever and the fried chicken is better than any I've tasted...the owners are also generous and really nice 😊

Best roast shop on the coast by far, have had it numerous times and cant wait to go back again, yummy!! Its moved now tho on to the main road of Orewa

Best Roast I've ever had. All the other roast shops I've tried  only make me wish I was back at Roast House. <br/><br/>Can't reccommend them enough!
