Review Creole's Bar & Cafe - Orewa

I recently revisited the bar, and it was a fantastic experience! I enjoyed casual conversations with locals and the welcoming staff. The overall vibe was excellent, and I'm definitely looking forward to going again

Pop In occasionally to play pokies and have a few beverages. Have never eaten here. New owners are doing a great job at making this an enjoyable place to do these things. One particular staff member who was under old management, seems so much happier, which speaks volumes about new management. Very impressed

Brilliant bar...under new ownership. They are off to a great start with the staff and service. Watch this space....its gonna be great again.

Better vibe now with new owner. The bathroom has been renovated! Finally, it's clean. Can't wait to see the new painting for their garden bar.

Taste good! It is jelly ball instead tapioca but it is not bad🧋 Reasonable price. Good location🏖

Wow….after change the owner, they are so different now. Amazing service !!!! All staffs are so nice and funny. I will definitely come back soon.

A nice variety of cocktails and their own signature cocktail is quite refreshing as well.

I got boba from here. The boba tasted nice, but it was a bit over priced. However the staff were really friendly. Overall a good experience, and I would recommend.

Omg glorious cocktails food and service

We had a meal in the café ordering off their all day breakfast menu. The food was cooked well. It was nice and quiet and they let us sit at the table talking and continued to replace our water once it was empty. Would return, maybe next time I would have a couple of beers.

A lovely well presented and organised coffee shop on the front line of hibiscus coast highway with a pleasant seating area outside or if you wish to take it further to pop next door and get on the games in the bar. Adjacent to Creole’s Bar, Underground Skateboard shop and Brews liquor, opposite a beautiful beach to sit down, relax and enjoy your coffee with a book or some good old conversation. Well mannered knowledgeable staff and a very tasty coffee all in all if you’re around be sure to come on down.

Pretty good bar, nice outdoor area out back, pokies are the same as everywhere else, play them if you don't mind losing money or play them and maybe win money.

We enjoyed a Groupon deal for two from the all-day brunch menu. I'd recommend arriving after 10.30 a.m. because the kitchen isn't open until then. NZ Farmers Breakfast was excellent. The Eggs Benny was tasty but over heavy on the hollandaise. Friendly, welcoming staff. Would have preferred to scan my Groupon code before or after i'd eaten ( I was asked whilst I was eating). Would visit again :)

Love the vibes in this bar feels warm & relaxed. Food is super yum!! Drinks are reasonable price, staffs are friendly... great experience. Highly recommended, will go again if come to Orewa next time :D

Recently visited the bar & café as of the 12th March 2016 for a birthday lunch. Had all day breakfast & my friend had salmon & avocado salad, all very tasty and price wasn't bad either. <br/><br/><br/>

This place is a little confusing as it's pretty much a laid back sports bar but then on the side has a little room tacked on as a Thai restaurant. We came here with a voucher and we were very taken aback by the setup - definitely not flash or romantic - but if you're laid back it's not too bad. The upside was the value for money was fantastic and the food was very nice and good portion size. It was pretty much just a Thai family running the restaurant side of things so service etc was provided by the kids who weren't up to restaurant standards understandably! Lovely people though. Very laid back and unusual experience but we made the best of it and were happy with the food! The place could do with a few tips and a makeover though.
