Relocated since I last visited & still a very popular place. Staff were helpful with recommendations, but I stuck to my faves this time. My waistline might not thank me, but I'll visit again soon

Beautifully flavoured vegetarian curries. Nice and spicy tamarind chutney. I had really friendly service when I came here. A lot of other reviewers say they had grumpy, rude staff but I really think that this may be a case of “you get out what you put in”! The lady that served me was helpful, warm and lovely to deal with. Can’t fault the food, service or pricing.

2021 lockdown Diwali sweets were perfectly and freshly made and safely delivered to us by Auckland Indian Sweets Otahuhu branch. The team of Auckland Indian Sweets never compromise quality. Prices match quality. Thank you to all the hardworking staff and owners of Auckland Indian Sweets. Happy Diwali.

This place is a popular landmark in Auckland. Known for their sweets, snacks and also to get the goss on what’s happening in the community. I get my update on what events are on and grab ethnic media newsprint from Auckland Indian Sweets. The owners are kind hearted and support the local community.

Always been going there from way back when it opened. Was overseas and even had family bring over food items to me. Returned to NZ and made a trip out to buy the delicious food. Easier access fir elderly and disabled now on one level. Staff are very friendly and professional.

I have returned from Aus after 10 years and this place is still amazing. Renovations are taking place at the original entrance. The server was really patient with me as I couldn't decide what to get. I decided on the rice with 3 curries and a roti and these small deep fried pastry and potato things as well as tamarin sauce. The only problem was I didn't order more because I am not local anymore. Happy Diwali ☺️

order mix pack on their online website and have input address for my house. but they deliver to my job place instead on their website shows business name optional. rang their store a guy answer saying that is was deliver to my job place when is clearly showing my home address how unprofessional. He also said that we deal with business delivery only. So bad

Very tasty Indian vegetarian food, and the sweets are great. The menu on Zomato is outdated, the price has been increased to $10 for the eat in Thali meals, but it is still very much worth the price.

I've grown up on their sweets for the past 24 years and loved their sweets and samosas. But every year just feels like the quality and taste of their food is dropping. Their standards have dropped considerably. The samosa is just a pastry pocket with 2% curried potato mash, and 98% oil. I remember when their samosas used to be packed will filling, crunchy, and delicious. Their sweets were to die for ! Kind of disappointed. But yes, your masala cha is still the best :)

Sparkling clean premises with lovely staff. Always smiling and attentive. The samosas are amazing aswell as all the other deep fried treats.

An awesome customer service. There is a good range of savoury and sweet sweets. They have tasty samosas, kachoris and yummy barfis and jalebis. They also have a good range of barfi flavours from lemon to mango.

We had a selection of sweets, recommended by the lovely lady who served us. Can honestly say these are the best Indian sweets we've ever eaten. So fresh and tasty- wish we'd bought more.

I'm rating 1 because they have a tiny little store in lotus supermarket complex in mt roskill which sells 3 bhaji snacks for a $1 which was made from spoilt besan mix. Sorry to be blunt but it's the honest truth and yes I can smell the difference between good and bad. Please don't sell such spoiled food and risk people's health.

The food is tasteless and doesn't taste ike the authentic indian cuisine. The snacks are very oily. The girls at the counter seem to be always in a rush. I wonder if they weigh the item properly or not. Sweets are very different tasting. Don't recommend it for authentic indian meals.

What a great pl for vegetarian Indian food. Especially w. their $7 Thali special, take out, $8 eat in. They also do amazingly fresh sweets and savoury snacks. Great during the week, even better in the weekend as the line's not as long.

Lunch time does not matter any time you can go here have thaali what I ate was thaali worth $8 it had three curries and two rotis their paneer curry was way more than delicious and chole and aalo matar they were God damn mouth watering... Must go here for best Indian food and yeah they also have snacks and sweets, will try later...@

I come here for lunch on work days for their "Option 3" dine-in thali for $8. You get 3 small servings of curry, small serve rice and a roti. The curries are flavourful, 100% vegetarian and very satisfying. Also available are samosas for $1 and mini pakoras which are 3 for $1. You can choose out of plain, potato or chilli pakoras - I love the latter but I must warn that they are extremely hot if you're not expecting it! They also sell savoury snacks and sweets. I'm a fan of garlic chilli flavoured peas but I find these aren't spicy enough to my liking. I do like their jelabi and gulab jamun sweets however.
