Truly wonderful from start to finish! Staffs customer service is en pointe and the food is unbelievable. A must try!

Great little cafe on the main street of Otaki offering beautiful high quality food. We went on the sat of a busy long weekend and did not feel rushed.vservice and food were outstanding. Worth the 5 stars.

My family and I came in for a private function on the Saturday of Labour Weekend. Otaki Kitchen went above and beyond for us. The platters they produced were incredible, and more than enough to feed our group. Our main courses were presented beautifully and enjoyed by all. The service from the wait staff was outstanding. We will be sure to book in with them again in the future. Highly recommend!

First visit with our daughter and two friends for lunch. Place was busy so we ended up outside. Very nice staff, friendly and welcoming. Two of the party had the waffles. One of these didn't want bacon, so they were offered substitute for, which ended up being ice cream, that's great service. Both of us adults had fish and chips, very nice meal. Our girls were aged 12, 13 and 14 and all had no issues with the adult menu.

We caught the tail end of a busy lunch period. We shifted a couple tables together to make space for the four of us, which worked well enough, ordered coffees and then lunch. The staff were happy make modifications to suit the kids, but the food took quite a while to arrive. Once the food was in front of us, it was quite nice. The fish cakes were particularly good, featuring a slightly smokey taste and a texture that was perfect, neither soggy nor dry. The negative point would be the consistence of the poached eggs. Across four eggs, one was definitely overdone. The house coffee is Elemental, which I didn't recognise. I chose an Americano, it was very nice. Flavourful and served without any bitterness.

We have just had an amazing meal at this cafe. Not only was the food delicious, the service was outstanding💕. They even made a delicious ratatouille for our vegan, even though it wasn't on the menu. Thank you, we will be back

The best coffee on the Kapiti Coast! I would take the 30 minute drive again just for another Soy Mocha! We did not dine in, but by the looks of the food coming out, it too would be deserving of the 30 minute drive!

Quaint Cafe/restaurant with superb staff that cater to all needs such a delight from our first step in the door. Looking forward to bringing more friends and family to dine at this beaut lil spot for the best coffee and fresh delishimo foods. 🥰👍 Absolutely recommend.
