Coffee was great. I had a half strength large coffee but will be requesting normal strength from now on as they don't over extract the beans here. The decor was interesting.
Currently there is only one lady providing refreshments at the cafe. She is doing a wonderful job. Patience and understanding is required. And it is worth the wait. August 2022

A delightful cafe in the heart of Otane providing home made food and lovingly barista style coffee. A welcoming experience every time!!
Menu was small but had something for everyone. From omelettes to gourmet toasties. A lovely beef and bacon burger was our choice. Fresh fillings and tasty.Tea for two was hot and fresh. I had the lemon cake which was yummy but then I tried the raspberry and white chocolate slice my partner had. It was so scrummy I bought a slice to take home.
Great place for an amazing coffee and something to eat. Relaxed environment
Excellent service from owner Sue, always friendly and helpful. Great food, especially her omelets and home made lemon cake.

Lovely warm atmosphere. Three of us had breakfast .very satisfied with our meals .Will definitely go back
The patient staff put up with a noisy, somewhat messy family lunch with good grace. The bacon and the GF chocolate brownie are highly recommended.
One review mentioned it was like "Like going back in time". That's the beauty of this place, one can take in the beautiful location, architecture, good food, good company and a break from driving.
Always a pleasure to visit. Friendly service and good quality food offered. Tidy country cafe.
