Had a coffee and a walnut and lentil burger. The coffee was good and the burger was really good. We also had the wraps which were nice. My friend had mushrooms on toast which she liked. I think the prices were reasonable considering what other cafes in the area charge.
Always nice to see a place orientated on vegan/ vegetarian food and drinks! Great!! I only think its a shame to ask $1 extra (which is 20% extra on a large drink) for the plant based milks since you should want to stimulate people to try something else then cows milk ;)
Tried their vegan Burger, Quinoa "daily special" bowl + the chickpea wrap. Delicious 🙏...portion size is a little small IMHO, a bit pricey. Friendly staff, coffee is good as well + comfy interior. All in all great experience, would definitely recommend!
Oh my ... so delicious, tasty , very friendly baristas and smiley;) very welcoming and great atmosphere. Definitely coming back.
Finally! We found a place with a clean menu and great food. The staff is very friendly and the location is easy to get to and park near. This place is a gem in a sea of conventional food. It's a cute little cafe/restaurant. The nachos were great and the vegan omlette was a new take on chickpeas and
So nice to find a cafe with yummy raw food (gluten, dairy free, vegan, rsf) options…often hard to find when travelling! I had their apple and walnut cake which was delicious! 😀 The fresh juices are great and I can highly recommend the ‘Liver Lover! ‘ Would be nice to see some couches or comfy booth
Food was awesome and service was really good. Had the mushrooms and the tofu burger. Yum! And the hemp and black bean brownies we're really tasty. Signs outside said plant based, but they do stock meat and other animal products too. Menus could be clearer about differentiating between vegetarian a
Good place for breakfast. Vegan and vegetarian but also does eggs. Had the avocado smash on sourdough bread which was very nice. Prices were reasonable and pleasant enough a place set a street back from the waterfront.
What a gorgeous light and airy cafe and a great range of vegetarian and vegan yumminess. Also the first time I have sampled mushroom tea! Friendly and promot service. Vegan pizza loaded with olives and veges looked nice but I opted for a lentil and walnut burger with aioli and tomato salsa: delicio
We stopped at Pahia today before my husband went to play football. We found the Orange Frog by accident Wow what a fantastic accident. I had a coffee a a beautiful dessert and a Omega salad. We were served by a very happy young man who was perfect for the vegan environment. Really fantastic food and
Came here yesterday and ordered the Big breakfast and added salmon. Wow is all I can say, so much flavour packed into this breasfast. Perfect poached eggs. This cafe is definitely worth checking out! Thank you so much and I'll make sure I recoomend it to everyone 😁
Do not listen to the constantly unsatisfied customers for a burnt coffee... This place is far more than that. Healthy food at its finest!! Don't hesitate a second, you will have one of the best gastronomic experience of your life! Entering this place is getting a lesson of life. These guys are in th
Centrally located on Selwyn Road, Paihia, the Orange Frog offers a range of vegetarian dishes for breakfast and lunch. Fruit juices and smoothies also available, along with teas and coffees. I had a delicious Berry smoothie yesterday and an omelette last week. A relaxed atmosphere and friendly servi
Exactly what we needed after a few days camping. The big breakfast was just the right size, the Kumara and potato hash had a delicious chutney and particularly appreciated a real Cappuccino and the wilted greens. Nice to see a cafe making the effort to tread lightly also, with an emphasis on veggies
They have a great and very yum as well as reasonably priced range of vegan food. I had a wrap and it was super delicious....pea and spinach, only $6. Highly recommended. Sorry forgot to take a picture :( hope to be back soon, good seating area too, cosy and quaint.
This is a must visit restaurant while you are in Paihia. All the items are made keeping good health in mind. The interior of restaurant is quite attractive. Messages on wall are quite thought provoking. Tasty eateries and all fresh. Ice cream and organic teas are also available. Not a very big place
We liked the concept of this cafe and were happy to find vegetarian options in New Zealand. However, while the “Vege Brekky” appeared a promising option, its execution was very much lacking. Little was done to cook the mushrooms and vegetables besides a light steaming and perhaps a few drizzles of
