15/8/23 Our whanau group of 14 had breakfast here for my daughter's 16th birthday. Prior to our arrival, a table for 14 people was set up so we could all sit together and they took our orders via email so our kai came shortly after we arrived and at the same time so we all ate together. Lovely spot for some brunch with very friendly staff. Food was amazing, the waffles were the best I've had at any cafe in NZ! Although it was not very busy the food did take some time due to staffing shortages but we were more than happy to wait. Keep up the good work guys!
Definitely a hidden gem! Food was great. The pork belly salad was delicious and fish and chips were hot and crispy. Also tried the Matariki mussels which were nice too. Lovely setting by the eel pond overlooking the beautiful waka. Only con is lack of seatings/ big tables? Patrons coming from after
Lovely spot and the staff were fantastic. Really enjoyed the breakfast and we have stopped in a few times to have a coffee/tea. Highly recommend.
Always a delightful experience. Staff are attentative, professional and friendly. Welcomed in Maori, Kia Ora!
Lovely location with food to match. Really enjoyed the big breakfast and the coffee was great. I'll be back!

One of the best cafes in northland- beautiful outdoor setting, food was delicious with generous portion sizes
Lovely setting and friendly service. Good cappuchino. Date scone tasted not quite fresh, but still nice.
Located just outside the Waitangi Grounds is this awesome, small cafe. Honestly the only spot in the Bay of Islands that does a eggs benedict on a Potato Hash! And a damn good eggs bene at that. Would absolutely recommend a visit.
Friendly staff in a great location. Tasty and refreshing iced coffees. Nice wildlife around the pool like ducklings and eels.
Good coffee, great carrot pie, nice staff! We spend a wonderful hour at this charming little café! The carrot pie was one of the best we had so far!
Reasonably priced food and coffee was tasty. Small staffing. So understandable that food can take about 30min. They even have it written on the board. Muffins looked good.
Good service, good food not a huge range but what they have is tasty
