Curious bar, filled with interesting posters, signs and impressive display of meat, and alcohol. The male staff were friendly and hospitable unlike the older female working in the bottle shop. The tomahawk steak was cooked perfectly and the lamb burger was massive too! Enjoyed the cocktail menu with many funny named gin beverages. Loved the RNB music guys, well done

Have eaten here many times over the years and it never disappoints. A large selection of delicious cocktails and burgers to die. A must visit when in the area and after a great meal.

Such a great place. Food was absolutely delectable. I had the Sakra (I think) Tacos and had some of the gin mixes they have to offer. Service is super quick and friendly. Definitely recommend coming here.

Enjoyed the food from here ! We all got burgers, and they are on the pricier side of meals, but they all had a heap of flavour were decent sized and you also got a good amount of chips with them too. There’s a lot of drink options available here too

Hands down the burger and the tacos in the picture, cannot show justice as to how delicious this meal was. Best way to know is go down and support the locals. Awesome atmosphere and customer service. Will be back again for sure.

Steaks!!!! OMG! Pepper and mushroom sauce is delicious! We had the Eye & Scotch Fillet steaks. Cooked to perfection! 10/10. Cocktail selection is huge, something for everyone. Music is on point, great vibe and lots of laughs at the menu descriptions! Super friendly and accommodating staff! Best of all, no children allowed unaccompanied! 👌

What a place! I caught the ferry over from Russell to try the place out and, boy, did I hit the jackpot! The staff were great from when you first arrive with help at all times. You sit down, they come and check what you want. If you’re not ready, no problems. They are so good AND so friendly, that it feels like your local. I only had the Buffalo Calamari, so I can’t comment on all of their food, but it was good. And the slaw with the mayo was a plus to the dish. The beer? Well, I only had the Pale Ale and it sure satisfied me! Overall, worth going to!

Went on Saturday night and had to go back on Sunday because we loved it! Nice environment and delicious burgers and mocktails!

Visited here on a Friday night. We both ordered the boneless rib eye but swapped the fries for an extra fried egg. It also came with a salad & a delightful mushroom sauce. Excellent meal... Steak was tender, eggs were "gooey" in the centre just the way I like them and mushroom sauce topped everything off just nicely. One of the better steak meals that I've had and reasonably priced. Would have no issues returning for a repeat performance.

The staff here are super friendly and amazingly helpful. All our dishes were scrumptious, from the tacos, burgers, tomahawk steak to the best calamari we’ve had. The cocktails are a must have!

Having read the reviews we were keen to try these much-acclaimed burgers and they did not disappoint. Both of our burgers were excellent - the patties were flavourful and juicy. The bun, pickles and fillings were all top-notch. Whilst I’d say the burger was a bit over-sauced for my liking (it was a messy eat!) the taste was so good I could look past it. Staff very friendly and service was quick too.

Burger we had was fresh, meat was spot on and well balanced with the sauce it had. Cocktails were spot on! Only thing I could say that could need improvements is the side dishes, but we still had a good experience.

Really good steak!!! Can definitely recommend the meals here. They don’t skimp on anything!! The steak was exactly as described and along with that we got a live performance and a nice drop.

The best place in Paihia if you want Burgers, Tacos, or Steak. They sell dry aged or wagyu as well. I went for for Big Fat Cheese Burger (double beef, bacon, cheese, and mustard) - it was a great burger! Burgers come served with fries.

An amazing and very unique Bar/Eatery/Delicatessen! Starting with their food, it is just flat amazing. The portions may not be huge but each bite is tasty and exotic! My group and I were so impressed with their food at brunch we returned their for dinner. Highly recommend trying their Brunch Tacos. Their menu outside of brunch is really something to experience. All their meats are aged and you can see them in the delicatessen section. Their bar is known for their gins. I'm not very experienced where it comes to gin but their staff are exceptionally knowledgeable. They made several recommendations alongside our meal and each was well received. Will definitely return when I'm next in Paihia!
