Review Alexandra Patisserie - Palmerston North

I LOVED IT. It reminded me of the coffee shops I went in Europe. The aromas when you walk in, the food options. The french names. So adorable in terms of decor and delicious food. I was so happy, the workwrs are so friendly and nice it's impossible to go wrong! I highly recommend and will definitely go in the future. The prices are good and they have special deals that are pretty amazing!

They have the yummiest stuff. Slightly expensive but everything is so yummy. I brought my sister who was visiting me from States for her birthday and I am so happy because we had delicious food and far more than what we could eat.absolutely Divine

My recommendations are any kind of bread and this lovely tart with a cheese filling. This is where I think offers nice coffee and wonderful sweet treats in Palmy.

This is a good pastry shop. Albeit expensive definitely worth once a try.

The chef here is French, thus all pastries taste authentic! A must try here in Palmy! The staff are all friendly!

Great coffee, great cakes and an awesome baguettes. Staff is super friendly and always makes our coffees to a perfection. Highly recommended if you like quality food!

I love this bakery so much! The place is aesthetic and classy. So many great and mouthwatering selections to choose and it’ll be never enough to only pick one! The blackberry macaron was so good. I really like the au pain raisins and almond croissant. Coffee was great too. It would be more lovely if they don’t charge additional cost for contactless payments. Staff are friendly and always greet you with bonjour and merci!

Delicious coffee and croissant! I was delighted to get to a french bakery after an early drive from Wellington. The staff is friendly and nice, they welcome you with a "bonjour!". Will come back again to try more of their delectable cabinet, get to the terrasse and experience FR in Palmerston North. Highly recommend it!

Pricier than other cafes for a very good reason. Best little tart/pastry I have had in a very very long time. Cabinet food is unbeatable and staff are great too. One of the best cafes in PN.

This is a great little French café down Coleman Mall, with exceptional desserts, macarons and an all round delicious menu. Top tip, try the peppermint hot chocolate, it's perfect on a chilly winter's day!

They have a good selection of sweets and coffee, but over priced. A small coffee and a tart cost 10.5$. way too much I would say even for a delicacy place.

Super cute place. Great location, great decor, great atmosphere, great coffee, decent food. The outdoor seating is really nice, and the French theme is fun, even if all of the workers are Asian.

Love their coffee and surroundings, their almond crossiant is to die for!! Thanks for a pleasant morning visit. Highly recommended not like any other place in palmerston north, it's like you're in another country.

Friendly staff.. Great excellent service.. I would recommend this if you just actually looking for a dessert or breakfast food this is the place to go too.. I love it.

First time here. Have always wanted to try out this place due to seeing and hearing all the good stuff about this place. <br/><br/>We got here about 2-3pm. First thing I eyed down was the eclairs. I love eclairs. The salted caramel was quite over powering in terms of sweetness. The chocolate one though, was just right. The tarts were quite nice. Everyone enjoyed them. <br/><br/>Overall, nothing toooooo exciting about this place. I'd definitely come back if there was to be more variety to choose from. Next time I'd love to try their chocolates and macarons.

I love this little cafe. Friendly service, always welcoming, Delectable food selections in a very cosy surroundings. Either dining with company, or on you're own, and a lovely departure, thank you. Two divine things close to any woman's heart, chocolates and shoes. These very cute chocolate high heels.

I've eaten a few items for dessert from here and a sandwich, but I've only been to this cafe a few times. I'd have to say that it's akin to bakery food. I'm not sure if it's the timing, I'm usually there around 2-3pm in the weekend, but when I've gone in to look for sandwiches or for a tasty Parisian dessert I've come away quite disappointed. I will have to go in again and try something new to see if it can redeem itself. I feel as though the previous reviews led me to believe this was once a real gem. Fingers crossed.

Fantastic, one of the few redeeming aspects of living in Palmerston North is having this little gem on the cityscape , better than anywhere I have been in AK WEL or CHCH, 5 stars is in understatement !!

The food and coffee are exquisite. It is a pity about the pseudo-French speakers (if one can call them speakers of the language) who crowd out the place every Saturday morning and push legitimate paying customers from their seats, causing some to leave in frustration, food uneaten. The management need to do something about this before they lose further custom.

A-ma-zing sweet things to satisfy every palate. Will definitely be back, have even bought vouchers as presents for friends. Really nice staff too.

Absolutely delicious. Been there a few times. Their croissants are very good. Try the almond one, it's very indulgent and yummy!
