Review Indian Indulgence - Palmerston North

This place has to be one of the best customer services I have had. When we arrived we were greeted by a very nice man. We ordered and he altered our order to our liking. We unfortunately had to leave and cancel however it did not make us feel bad about this and was understanding. I will be back again and only ever hear good things.

Best food and service in Palmy must try restaurant, try thier Chicken Sekuwa!

Indian Indulgence is the best Indo-Nepalese restaurant so far in the heart of Palmy. Authentic Nepalese momo and chowmin was beyond awesome and won my heart. Amazing hospitality and the owner is a wonderful Nepalese individual to have a short chat.

My dad and I regularly get takeaways from here. We've gotten to know the owner overtime and he is really nice. Really delicious Indian food, when you find a spot like this, you don't need to search anywhere else.

Nice flavour and good price. Asked for Indian hot but feel like I got mild. Got lots of tofu instead of cottage cheese. I would still go back though!

Nice curry house in Palmerston North. Owner is very friendly and welcoming food was good Chicken Rara was a good choice but plenty of others too.

One of the best Indian Restaurants in the town. This is our preferred place to go out and enjoy our meal. Authentic food with reasonable price. Can’t get any better than this. Very happy customer

Out celebrating with family - Indian food being the favorite. So pleased we chose to come here. Greatest Butter Chicken. This is now my go to place for Indian food. Bonus with great service and relaxing atmosphere. Top marks and thanks for a wonderful meal.

A Palmy institution. Lovely Indian restaurant with amazing food and beautiful paintings on the walls. The Lamb Rajasthani is exceptional. The $14 lunch special is great value for lunch. Curry with naan. Nice atmosphere for evening meals too, they sell beer and wine.

We stopped here for lunch, as we were just passing through Palmy. Curries were very good. I had the Palak Paneer and my husband had the Dahl Tadaka. The naan was thin, I prefer mine thicker, but still very good.

We dined there 3 times in 2 days which says a lot. Food was great as per NZ Indian food standards. We loved all the dishes that we ate and there is not much scope to pinpoint. However a sincere request to improve on your appearance for the staff in the restaurant as you are in hospitality where presentability matters (being an ex hotelier myself!)..

Good value for money. $12 lunch was good. The "better Chicken" was a bit too sweet. Just make sure to clear the dirty plates from the tables. My dirty plate was on the table for a long time with no clearance, today and another night I came for dinner.

Third time here and yet again it was amazing!! Beautiful food, great service consistently. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back!!

We tried lunch and dinner on two different days and both times it was an awesome experience in terms of the quality of food and service. Chiily chicken and chicken fried rice were delicious and one must try these if one likes spicy food. Chicken momos were extraordinary and served hot. This was our special visit to Palmy while on the way to Christchurch, and eating at Indian Indulgence made it memorable. Cheers.

Fantastic meal, really enjoyed the tandoori pieces and garlic and cheese naan!

We normally go to this restro if we want to have a good and yummy food in the town, The taste of the curries is soo good, full of flavours. Good customer service.

Come here way to often , food is always good. They marinate the chicken as you should for a good curry. The spice levels are a tiny bit hotter than some other places but is really nice. I eat here once a week and would advise anyone to try here.

It was awesome. Would recommend it, if you love food. The presentation was pretty good and the food was even better. Nice and warming staff.<br/>

Upon entering the establishment you are welcomed and seated by staff. Menus and water are given. When asked to be given another 5 minutes before coming back to order took 15 minutes before someone came back to take our order. Other than that staff were pretty polite and attentive for the rest of the night. We ordered a Paneer Tikka for entree. It was pretty unique but a tad dry for my taste, need lots of sauce to make it better. For mains we got a Chicken Jalfrezi and a Murgh Methi Malai. I really enjoyed both curry flavours but prefer the Jalfrezi more. The cheese and garlic naan bread was also amazing but be sure to eat it while it's still nice, hot and fresh! Really enjoyed the food at this place and believe it's been underrated. More people need to know of this place!

Loved the Restaurant! As a Miss Universe NZ finalist, I require to host a charity event. This was the only restaurant out of many restaurants I asked, that was willing to run my charity fundraising event - special thanks to the manager Ajit who helped me make the event a success! All the guests loved the food!, Lots of money was raised for Variety - The Children's Charity, will definitely go again because of the positive attitude of the manager + there are a huge variety of menu items even for a vegetarian like me!

Great food. Would recommend the better chicken as an alternative to the butter chicken. If dining with a few people it's a great idea to order a variety of dishes and share them all. The mix of flavours and spices is great.

I love this restaurant! I've been a regular customer since they opened. The food has always been top-notch, the menu varied and interesting with friendly and fun staff. I can't fault anything! <br/><br/>This is one restaurant where I always feel great after the meal and walk away looking forward to the next visit.

Excellent food with ex cellent service.situated in middle of the city is really easy to go and take yummy taste .I like to come here again and again with my family and my co workers.

An awesome place to eat either dine in or take away, Have been twice on birthdays in last two months and been given small extra treats. Their rice is amazing. Can't fault them. Friendly and helpful.

We've been to Indian Indulgence around a dozen times now and we absolutely love it! <br/><br/>The staff are very friendly and keen to share their knowledge of the food and help you make choices from the extensive range of choices. <br/><br/>The food here's to die for and we’ll definitely continue visiting regularly.

Went on New Year's eve. Waiter didn't seem interested in seating us. Gave a grunt when we selected a table. Was dressed in T-shirt Jeans and white sneakers (ok for a food court not when you are paying over $30 for a meal), Sat at table for over 30mins with out having any orders taken even drinks!! Restaurant not very busy!waiter ignored us Gave up and left.<br/>Cant comment on food as never got that far and wont bother trying again. Went else where and got great service from someone who looked and acted like a waiter.

Best Indian food in Palmerstn North. Paneer tikka n naan are the best. Service is awesome. Friendly staff n good atmosphere. I enjoyed my dinner last night. Big thanks to the owner to set up a high class good tasting Indian food in Palmerston North.

My favourite place whether dining or takeaways. Visited Indian Indulgence Restaurant on 19th July, 2013 with my partner. Had kadhayi chicken and paneer tikka masala. I must say we really enjoyed dinner that night. Can't forget that taste, music was so appealing. And really enjoyed the way staff welcomed us.<br/>Big thanks to Indian Indulgence team. Thanks for making our night so special.
