Went to Rosie's for dinner. I had the chicken wrap, my husband had the Chicken. Meals delivered very promptly. The food was ample in portion, well cooked and well presented. Bathrooms were clean and accessible for people with disabilities. A very popular place, staff very helpful and friendly.

Big portions! Lovely food fast service and very friendly staff!! I enjoy eating here and will continue to come back. They also do charge back to most of the motels/hotels in the area.

We turned up here on a busy friday night, the kitchen did an excellent job getting the meals to us in timely fashion and were well presented and great value.

Great craft beer, amazing fries, excellent service. Nice selection of beer, with some excellent craft beers on tap. Beer battered fries are some of the best Ive had. Perfectly crispy without being greasy. Excellent flavor! Sandwiches are good too, no complaints there. Service was excellent, the bar tender was happy to tell me about the local beers and offer suggestions.

Good old-style pub atmosphere. Nice and central location Busy on quiz night! (Thursday) Food is usually quite good which is nice if you're there for more than just a drink or two. Worth a visit if you've never been before, and a good contender for your local if you're looking for one.

Barmaid was really nice, helpful and friendly. They give 'Super Gold Card' discounts on food and drink too! Don't know anywhere else!

I have been going for the pub quiz for a few weeks now. The staff are good fun and the quiz is really well run. It's now my ongoing local for the quiz.

Brilliant!! Staff are very friendly. Food came out very quickly, great value for money generously sized meals. Highly recommend.

After a Fish and Chip meal noted the fish was tasteless probably due to the old cooking oil which left a awful taste in the mouth. The salad was ruined by the over dollop of oily maionaise

i ordered a jug of ale and the sausage n mash. the sausage n mash wuz good value and arrived fast but only with a handle of ale. so of course tha ale survived throughout a third of the meal and didnt bother with another drink. do the bar staff have trouble with the memory or listening ?:i. usuly order a jug of BRASSY RED i wudve stayed for dessert.if id got the jug as ordered, wil be a wile b4 i go back. had been lookin fwd to that lunch for 3 weeks. as ive mentioned before if businesses want the patronage give the customer what they ask for

My boyfriend and I decided to go out for breakfast/brunch, and wanted some decent pub food. Unfortunately we were bitterly disappointed with the food, beverages and customer service at Rosie O'gradys Fitzherbet Ave. We waited 30 minutes for our meals (in an empty pub) and when we received them, they were the wrong ones. I received my actual meal 20 minutes before my boyfriend received his, and had finished eating and was ready to go by the time his eggs benedict reached our table. The lady who served us was rude, and didn't apologise for the inconvenience of waiting 50 minutes for our meals which didn't even come at the same time. The food itself is an absolute train wreck. Would not recommend this place to anyone, and will definitely not be coming back. If you are however looking for some good Irish pub food, Murrays in Feilding is fantastic.

Came here for lunch and got the mo burger. I have to say the value was exceptional and the taste was great. Was a very chill environment and sitting by the fire just made it cozy. Would definitely come back =)

We have been here a few times now and it is always good value for money. The schnitzel is huge!!!!! In fact all the servings appeared to be large, and most importantly, good to eat! Just what you expect to find at an Irish pub but better and bigger!

First visit here, it was at lunch time we had chicken and pistachio salad and the schnitzel with chips and salad.
The chicken salad was a good size with a generous amount of whole pistachio nuts, it was pleasant enough.
The schnitzel was a large nicely cooked piece, the chips were good the salad on the side was not as good.
We had a entrainment card voucher so 1 meal was free, at $18 for lunch for two I can't complain at all it was great for the price.

we visited with English friends and enjoyed the meal. Such generous servings, and a good menu selection. We had dessert although we were so full after the main that we really didn't need it. Have since been back with NZ friends and again enjoyed the meal. We went there early in the evening and found it pleasantly quiet. More crowded as we left. We would go back again.

Was the first time we have been here. Nice clean bar, warm and welcoming. Very nice service!! great relaxing environment. We had entree's of mussels and garlic bread, both were served promptly and tasted great. For mains we both choose scotch fillet, again arrived at our table very quickly and was the best steak we've had in ages! We will be returning very soon.

I've been visiting this pub for 4 years and still don't feel welcome. The staff are disinterested and bordering on rude most of the time. The atmosphere/decor is cool, but unfortunately this is not backed up by friendly customer service. Shame as it could be a cool local.

Went there for the quiz last night, was really busy which is saying something about the place considering most other places were empty.

Spoke to a few other customers in the bar and they said the place really busy for the quiz.

Ok the food is not out of this world BUT it is a pub. We had the beer battered fish it was good for the price.

Place is clean staff seemed interested and its nice to go somewhere which actually has a crowd.

I would suggest to anyone.

Dined there last night, customer service was really poor, timing of food to the table was slack, we had ordered garlic bread for our entree along with menu/dessert, then the next couple ordered their mains, to our shock they got their mains even before we got our garlic bread (it came 35 mins late), waitress asked us if we had received our breads?!?! By then we had totally lost interest, daughter had Wedges for her main (an hour later), was burnt/overcooked, mine was the Chicken Bacon pie, was 1/4 fill, pastry covered 3/4 of the bowl - disappointing but was nice. Pudding daughter enjoyed her sundae, mine was the Bread/butter pudding, was cold - normally if not satisifed would notify but by then we had been in there too long and just couldnt be bothered.

Will I recommend and dine there again, unfortunately No.

- Poor over all service
- Lack of cleaning up (taking away plates even after walking past our table quite a few times and different staff too!)
- Lack of management and poor system in place overall
- Food needs to be checked before going out of the kitchen (staff need to look at it/taste it and ensure it's to their satisfaction so customers will be satisfied - highly unlikely they even did this)

Customer service isn't impressive. No one takes away glasses as you finish or wipes down tables after use. When asked about what items on the menu were gluten-free none of the bar staff understood. Once they finally they informed me that they couldn't be sure and did not make any attempt to accommodate. We were asked to leave only 5 minutes after closing even though and my friends and I provided a hefty amount of income for the night.

went to rosies last week, had good service and good food, prices are fine aside for steaks being too expensive. Waited under 10 minutes which was a nice change from other places we go for dinner.

will be back

Agree with other poster.
Poor service, slack workers and took forever to bring out a snack of chips while the rugby was on and the place was empty.
