Great curry. The sagwala was very tasty, creamy and spicy. My girlfriend ordered a medium butter chicken; The waiter doubled checked her spice request which was very professional as this was an unusual request from a beautiful white lady. The Naan was slightly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The waiter poured beers very well with the perfect level of head. Very good dinner!

Lunch set was worth it as it comes with a mains, rice and naan bread. Their lamb was so soft in their biryani. Chef made it spicy for us and it was soooo good

Table placement is excellent for small or large gatherings. Service fantastic. Food superb. Tandoori platter was a showcase. Garlic chicken, chicken bhuna and lamb all taste worthy dishes. Highly recommend.

The best indian restaurant in Palmerston North. Am saying this after trying all of them over the years. Always takeaway and never been disappointed. Great Service, delicious food & you can actually see the chef cooking (open plan kitchen). Highly recommended.

TBH it's just another typical Indian restaurant. Spacious, can fit large groups and inexpensive. No designated parking ( only City council's parking ), lack of open views and "not-so-authentic" Indian food (taste wise) means it's probably going to be an one time visit for me. Said that, if you are non-Indian, you might find the food much better compared to it's other cousins such as "Arranged Marriage" 🤗

Fantastic Indian food, we popped in late in the evening and they welcomed us and allowed us to try the Manawatu on a plate dishes. Will definately be back.

Great food, i would definitely recommend this place. Good for groups, date night or just dinner outings. The Food is all hand made fresh , and definitely delish. Good portions too. Only suggestion is that kitchen or staff pack your leftovers for you, and believe me you will want to take your leftovers home, they are too good to leave..lol. We had to pack our own at the table..,we were given poly boxes and made to pack it out self with a spoon.. we made a bit of a mess . Would be so much easier if they did it for you in the kitchen just like most restaurants would. All and all great meal, and im looking forward to returning for more spice and flavor.

Delicious curry, naan and onion bhaji. We had butter chicken, chicken korma and chicken Tikka Masala. All excellent. Definitely not inexpensive, but also at least it's delicious

Best Indian food in Palmerston North easily. My go to every time. Their butter chicken is absolutely fantastic. Very kind lady that works front of house too, will keep returning as long as I live here. Gulab Jamun fantastic too.

This is the place you should go in Palmerston North for autheric India food. Great service, the food is so tasty (I'm still thinking about how yum it was 2 days later), lots of meat (unlike fastfood takeaways) The dine-in experience is the best. We are already planning our next visit.

Nice place, awesome food, good atmosphere. We love going to this restaurant with our family, the price a very reasonable and our expectations are always fulfilled. We highly recommend this place

Tasty. Had a delivery. Small portions and relatively expensive. Certainly not good value for money. But tasty and good food. Would I go back? Honestly I don't like people giving me small, almost half sized, portions when I'm paying full price. Tasty food but feel ripped off.

My friend and I went for dinner last night.  The food and the service were great; the feeling about this restaurant was wonderful.  Can't wait to go again and try something else from their delicious menu.

My husband & I had lunch here the other day. I had the Malai Kofta, I get this everytime I get Indian! He branched out and tried the Bhunna Lamb. The Malai Kofta was great, one of the best ones I have had. The Bhunna Lamb was such a beautiful color and had a taste to match. The capsicum & cashew really came through. Thanks so much!

Went there with my family at 5pm for dinner, we hadn't pre booked. When we asked for a table the waiter looked around the restaurant and said they were full!!! We were the only Ines in the restaurant ! When asked more, he said they were full later so no waiting staff were in. I thought this was a restaurant, I must have been mistaken, would not recomend simply because they were in accommodating to us, we went somewhere else and had a lively meal, and on our return to the far, it was still empty, I am glad they turned our family away now

My friends and I get curry from here quite often and it's good every time! We have dined in a couple of times and has been a good experience as well :) there are good deals such as $10 half curries and naan at lunch and $10 full curries on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays! Would definitely recommend to others!

Our first visit to this restaurant and will definitely return. Service was excellent with papadums received on arrival while we looked at the menu.  We selected the Punjabi Chicken and Aloo Matter among other dishes and were extremely happy with our choices. Food was absolutely beautiful, one of the best Indian Restaurants we have been to in a long time.  Thank you Satinder for a great food experience.

Have been there a lot and found the food and the service to be very good. I would like bigger servings of rice but the taste is fine. Will go as a regular.

Brought a voucher for two large curries for $20.00 which was apparently half price....(I can't imagine paying $20.00 for one of these) ordered and collected the two curries which were the size of other companies 'half' servings so already felt ripped off. Even worse, I had a Korma my partner had the butter chicken and we were both horribly disappointed, they were awful. I will never go back there.

We dined in with a deal voucher recently and had a great experience. Curries were delicious and the rice perfect. The raita was lovely too. Servings look small but are so deceiving, we were full to the brim when we finished. Shared a naan between us, it was enormous! Free poppadums while we decided our orders too was a nice touch. Service was slightly lacking; no return visit checking if we needed more drinks when our glasses were empty. Food is worth going back for though.

I purchased a deal voucher after checking out reviews here. <br/><br/>Ordered 2 curries and rice as per voucher (both medium Tikka Masala) I am used to Tandoor chicken, peppers, onion, anise and fragrance popping... rather than random mush and rice. Was very bland and flavourless, we threw them on the lawn for the birds.<br/><br/>The man who served me was very 'oh, VOUCHER!...CHEAP DEAL HUH! WHAT IS YOUR NAME AGAIN...' I felt 'shamed' for the fact I made a purchase - why do the vouchers?? Will not be coming back or recommending to anyone that enjoys a good, authentic curry and decent service staff.

Wow! What a find! Have been here a few times now, and will plan on going many more times in the future! The same gentleman served me both times, and he was very kind and polite. The Chicken Tikka is quite possibly the best that I have tried, and the Butter Chicken is too! The lunch special for $9.90 for such quality food is a steal! Would recommend to everyone!

These guys have just the best Butter Chicken around. We order it as a take-out. Haven't tried anything else on the menu (apart from the aweseome cheese nanns) over the last couple of years as the Butter Chicken is so good!

We went to this restaurant for an special occassion great food and environment. Being an Indian I am fussy about eating Indian food. But there naan and paneer karai was yum . My flatmate who is kiwi had saag ghost she never experienced that taste of spinach before. she loved her meal too.
