Love the yummy Lamb & Beef & chicken burgers & wraps here. They also have deserts too. Their Tiramusu cake & cheesecake are divine. 80 seater capacity with Turkish & Italian food. Service was fast. They also have a kids menu. Plenty of street parking. And in the heart of the city on Broadway. Friendly helpful customer service. Great place for lunch or dinner. Quiet atmosphere. Lovely place for family or groups.

Normally order to go for me and the work mates but can say that the food ( Mostly get Kebabs Range ) is Top tier!! Service is AMAZING as well and food is cooked right in front of you so you know its always Fresh and ready to go :)

Nice and clean place with lots of space inside for family outing. They have Pizza, Kebabs, spaghetti and many more. Twice we went there and had pizza and kebabs. They were awesome. They have something for everyone. Clean toilets, welcoming staff...will visit again... and it’s Halal....:)

Huge tasty meals and friendly service. I love the salads here and my husband’s go-to is the chicken yavo which has the most delicious sauce

My partner and I love coming here. All of the meals we have had have been excellent and really enjoyable, in particular the gnocchi and the pizza. The service is fantastic and fast, and we always feel very welcome. Thank you to the chef's and serving staff!

We took our kids there for dinner on Sunday night and loved it! 3 of us had the best creamy carbonara. Our boy had the margarita pizza and said or was the best cheesey pizza he's ever tried. The kids loved sitting in the booth too. Super friendly staff and didn't have to wait long for our meals, which was great for the kids. We will be back!

Great place to have a delicious turkish or Italian dinner with friend or family. Their kebab is delicious and so is their pizza. The owner is also great to talk with.

All the Food are Delicious and Halal.. I ordered Iskender Beef & Lamb. The Place is cozy.. I came here on April 2023 on my birthday, then they gave me a complimentary kebab (the bread) & hummus. Thank you

Amazing food even 11 years after my last visit, the calzone and the specialty dish is amazing. The service was decent but they should listen to the customers properly, my mum tried to ask a question only for the staff member to interrupt her multiple times incorrectly assuming she was going to ask for extra sauces when she was actually trying to find out if the dishes sauce contained something she allergic to. Even though the service was not perfect this time I hope to return here next time I'm in town as it is still the best calzone iv ever had.

I have to say that never ever have I had a beautiful tasting kebab till I entered cafe Eminem. I enjoyed the kebab so much I went back and got another. Presentation is awesome and the people are extra friendly with absolute amazing customer service. I highly recommend that if anyone is looking for a great place to go for great tasting food cafe Eminem is definitely the place to go.

Absolutely love this place. I visit weekly and love the pizzas, pasta and service. Well priced and we can always get a seat which is amazing to me because it seems like an unknown gem in Palmy.

Love this place! For 4 people we ordered a large beef pizza, a chicken and spinach fettuccine, and a large lamb and beef iskender with garlic aioli, mild chilli sauce, yogurt, and Hummus. The beef pizza was loaded with cheese so for a cheese lover it was delicious. The beef was kebab beef so it was smoky and succulent. The base was soft and thin but the crust was crunchy. The pasta had chicken and spinach - tender pieces of chicken, with lots of cream sauce, and it was also very cheesy. The pasta itself was al dente. Lastly, the iskender had a generous amount of beef, lamb and sauces. The rice was aromatic and chewy which was very nice. The sauces complimented the whole dish well. It was a bit oily, but the salad helped cleanse the palate.<br/>Food was served in a moderate amount of time, not too slow and not that fast. They had friendly staff with a good sense of humor.

Looks like they recently had a change of staff. They went from 5 stars to 1 in my book.. <br/>Had 2 poor experiences recently - <br/>First experience -  they gave me a burnt pizza dining in. This was pretty appauling, it was inedible. They realised this after they had served it to me, and came back five minutes to recook it (others at my table had finished their meals by the time i got a new one.. very awkward!). Was disappointed, but staff seemed new so i was ok with it.<br/>Second experience a couple months later - ordered a takeaway pizza in the store. Was told 10-15 minutes. I left the store and came back before the 10 minutes was up and waited.... and waited.. and waited... 20 minutes later (30 total) they realise the pizza that had been sitting on top of the oven for 20 minutes (not in a warmer!) was mine. There had only been a couple of people through so they weren't busy at all. It seems the staff are still inexperienced.<br/><br/>Disasspointed in the service, but still have nice food, that's the only saving grace getting that second star. Hopefully in the future you can do better eminem, it will be a while before i go back.

Everything from this cafe is great, service friendly and very fast kebabs decent sized with lots of meat very tastey the fries are devine with the chicken salt sprinkled on top. This place is my go to kebab shop on palmy

Read the other good reviews on here so had to try this place out. It's Good Friday so weren't sure if they'd be open but they were and no surcharge either! Food was amazing! My partners picky about food and he loved the creamy mushrooms so double tick for you ✅ food portions are quite big too and not too expensive. Would recommend 👍🏼

I have tried many Turkish restaurants around Palmerston North and Café Eminem is by far the best! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is great and the staff there are so warm and inviting. Meals are very reasonable priced at around $15 and are such generous portions. The restaurant is clean and tidy and has a very comfortable vibe to it. Definitely recommend this place for any occasion!

One of the best pizza that I've ever had in my whole life... for those that wants the real taste of classic Italian pizza Café Eminem is the best place to visit in Palmerston North. You get what you pay for, I've paid $20 for a large pizza but it was definitely worth it, the quality as well as the crispy tasty dough was delicious. I will be surely going back to try other sorts of quality classic Italian pizza. <br/><br/><br/>

Obviously ppl rating this restaurant on this website have not had Turkish / Mediterranean food elsewhere. The shop is not only over rated but extremely pricey. A medium pizza cost 19.5$. And it was just bread, with some shaved meet (like in doner kebabs) with cheese and onions. And the taste wasn't so great either. We also ordered other stuff, but were left disappointed. 100+$ for 4 ppl and this place is a pizza / kebab shop. Not even a proper restaurant. Not worth the money. would not recommend it.

This is by far the most underrated restaurant in Palmerston North. Talk about a hidden gem; friendly staff, consistently great food, it is simple yet is very delicious.

This place is WONDERFUL.  Always great fresh food and very friendly, family service.  I had my first take-away today and they did not skimp!  LAMB SHISH salad is one of the few low carb options that is so YUM!  <br/><br/>Thanks so much!

We moved here 21 years ago and found little on offer in Palmy.   At last there are some great options for good dining.  Over the years we've found Eminem's on Broadway to be the best eating with a wide range of Turkish/Kiwi dishes like Pizza :) and kababs .   Consistently fresh and healthy, many options for carne and vego's.  <br/><br/>I like their falafel kabab, she gets Iskender plate.Great atmosphere, perfect if you're looking for something a bit more intimate and less industrial than MacKingWendy.  Service is quick and friendly...finish off with a real turkish coffee.  Very tasty indeed.Eminem's has become our first choice in PN.  We like it so much we wanted put up this note.  Give em a try.

Love this place, have been there many times now, as a couple, small group and larger group. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The decor is warm and inviting. Music suited both to decor and cuisine. Have had pasta, iskender, pizza bread, and various other meals and desserts. All were delicious and served promptly and with a smile. No problem at all for them to package up the leftovers from their very generous portions to go either. The Turkish tea is to die for. Great place to dine. Prices very reasonable. No complaints here

Our group of 9 had a meal after the movies at Café Eminem and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the female waitress. We had Iskenders, gnocchi and garlic pizza and all were really nice, such good value for your money at this restaurant. The dessert menu is very yum too. Thanks again.

çok hayal kırıklığı / Very Disappointing<br/><br/>I really enjoy Turkish food and after reading the reviews here, thought it was essential to try Cafe Eminem. <br/><br/>After reviewing the rather large menu, I decided on a typically Turkish dish to judge this restaurant for my first visit. Chicken Iskander - was feeling hungry so elected for the large size. The service was friendly although I was told the price may be different to the price that was advertised on the menu outside. Excuse me, but isn't this a case of false advertising already ? <br/>The dish was ready in no time at all - there were no other diners in the restaurant. On receiving the rather large polystyrene container in a plastic bag, I noticed how light it felt. Unfortunately, this was a very "lite" meal. <br/><br/>I have enjoyed many Iskanders both around New Zealand and in Turkey itself and this was not what I was expecting. Turkish portions are, like the people themselves, usually generous and having paid $15.90, was expecting the takeaway container to be loaded with delicious Turkish Iskander. Sadly, it wasn't. It was more like a sampling arrangement: a tiny amount of tabbouleh, carrot, about five corn kernels some very bland white rice with a small amount of chicken on top with sauces poured over like it was a desert. <br/>This was neither a fair portion size for 'large' serving nor the price $15.90. And, this was not how an iskander is normally presented. The micro allocations would have barely been enough for a child's portion. I felt like a passerby who had been offered a 'taste' of what is served in this restaurant.<br/>Unfortunately, I regretted choosing this food outlet for my Sunday takeaway and am not able to recommend it for its Iskendar.

Love this place. eat here at least once a week. Staff are so friendly and the quality of the food is top notch. The prices are pretty decent and they seem to always be open. The menu mania site is annoyingly requiring me to say more as I gave 5 stars but didn't have much to say, so... if you are hungry and want something well prices and not too flashy come here, they are by far the best Turkish in town!

We went here for dinner last night. I had the Palmy Pizza and my partner had the Hawaiian. I found it to be extremely high quality food. My iced coffee was rather flavourless however. Also no option for smaller portions - the medium pizza was huge!

Have been twice for dinner and both times ordered veggie iskender - best Turkish food in town. The menu has a wide range of choices. Their berry smoothie is the best ever. Very clean and presentable setting. Highly recommend. Staff are pleasant and its in a good location.

Enjoyed a delicious garlic-cheese pizza bread, tasted amazing with lots of garlic and cheese. Also ordered the calamari which I was disappointed when it turned out to be generic frozen crumbed squid rings (and not nice ones at that - tasted like old fish). The menu is huge - there is something for everyone. Would return to try something else.

Easily the best Turkish place in Palmerston North! This is the third time I have been here, and it certainly will not be the last! Ordered their mixed iskender this time round and it was amazing just like previous meals I have ordered. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere and vibe are great. The only thing I can suggest that they should change is their sign outside. But hey, never judge a book by its cover right? Everything is simply amazing!

Love their Iskender Kebabs and their pizzas are pretty good also. Go there for lunch when I can and always enjoy it. Clean, tidy restaurant in a good location (Broadway). Pricing isn't too bad though I can't afford to lunch there too often.

This restaurant is definitely 5 stars! While it is always busy and vibrant outside, the mood inside is modern, calm and warm surrounded with beautiful artwork. You will hear some soothing Mediterranean music as well. I got hooked from the first time i visited this place, their diverse menu is rich with plenty of fabulous choices from Italian to Turkish, i always want to try a different dish, and i have never been disappointed. The place is very very clean and the staff are all professional, and extremely helpful. <br/><br/>Definitely would recommend it to everyone who wants to have a great and satisfying meal!

This restaurant is just amazing its like your entering paradise and you can pick anything you want.The atmosphere is delightful here in a very vibrant location. Their pizza is to die for. Im not a pizza fan. But you must try thier Pizza shrimp with mozzarella cheese, plenty of shrimps, fresh garlic and oregano. Also love their Beef-Lamb kebabs very nice. Great service and very clean and tidy cafe. Highly recommend

the only reason i am giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because their logo ruins my experience there.. every time i walk into such a nice place the first thing i see is this big hideous logo and ugly signage at the front.. but aside from that its the best kebabs in possibly new zealand, honestly.. its good!

Have had takeout and dined in. Dining in experience was very positive. Well priced and varied menu. Our meal was well presented and the 6 year old dropped her fork but it was immediately picked up and replaced with a new set of cutlery. Top notch service and something for everyone.

This restaurant has opened recently and already started to attract lot of people. The best thing is that they have a lot of varieties in an affordable price.<br/>Even though the owners are Turkish , they serve a lot of Italian foods as well.<br/>Their menu includes, different delicious kebabs, pasta,pizzas, desserts , salads, dip/sides, and coffee and tea varieties. <br/>There is one perfect dish for everyone (including burgers and chips for kids).<br/><br/>I can't find enough word to express how perfect the every plate they served.<br/>I have tried and loved pizzas, kebabs and desserts. <br/>Another thing I loved that they were very clean and nice people.<br/>The environment is awesome , so clean and this huge space along with a fountain in the middle of the restaurant is really relaxing. <br/>Give it a chance you will love it!
