Review Pompeii Pizza - Palmerston North

Pompeii Pizza has been amazing forever. I recently attended with a large group, and everyone was blown away by how good these pizzas were. Those who ordered salads and meals were also impressed. The customer service was awesome, with a shout-out to Ashlee.

One of the few places you can visit and still be greeted with a sincere smile, and a genuine "how is your day today?" by the front staff. The Gladiator pizza: From the first glance, you'll see a well seasoned medley of perfectly cooked and generously piled meats, forming a meaty mosaic that's a feast for the eyes, and is sure to get your mind [para]sympathising with your stomach! The flavors harmonize with each other, and even better with some fresh chili cooked through. The base was the right amount of crisp and the crust was the right amount of crunch. TLDR; The pizza was to die for - You seriously have to try this place before you die, still going? - Try it again a second time, and a third... No, it is NOT socially acceptable to propose to a pizza.

Boy’s choice for a night out and Pompeii Pizza it was. Nice quick order and we had the table by the front window. Food came nice and fast and was up the usual good standard of Pompeii. Right amount of food for the 5 of us. Best Pizza’s in Palmy.

I loved this place! Our pizzas were all excellent. The service was friendly, helpful and attentive without being overbearing. There was a nice vibe from the kitchen through to front-of house and that made for a fantastic evening with good friends. Definitely on our hit-list when we are next back in Palmy North.

Like Pizza? Pompeii is the place to go. So many different options it's hard to choose which option you want. Can't choose? Go for a 50/50 pizza. You also get 3 different sizes to choose from, unless you want a gluten free pizza, then one size fits you. As for the gluten free pizza, this place understands gluten free, so risk (while not zero) is as close as it gets without being completely and utterly gluten free. Plenty of drink options too, both alcoholic and zero alcohol. Best bit of advice, book ahead to guarantee seating options, otherwise you can order take out (get uber etc to pick it up, or pick it up yourself).

Pompeii pizza is sooooo good. It’s so hard to pick a favourite pizza! I’ve been a customer of 18 years and the pizza is always consistently awesome! Reasonably priced, and a family friendly restaurant.

Had a mix up with a pizza and they went above and beyond to remedy the situation. I was so impressed and really appreciative of the effort they went to. Such impressive service! And delicious pizza!

We had s large group, pre planning and open communication had us and the staff working we. We had excellent service and fantastic food. Will definitely return.

Great place. Went there during Targa Rally and it was cool vibes. Great Pizza menu. Highly recommended.

Phone lines were down, but I was adamant I needed Pompeii for tea. Lol They fixed the issue (and yay, let us know on Facebook about it, which meant I wasn't just going crazy for no reason lol) Delivery was hassle-free. And maaaaate, it did not disappoint! C.C.C Is my jam and it was soooo tasty. Everything was hot, chips and garlic bread were on point and the dessert pizza was the best way to finish it all upl! Keep on keeping on Pompeii!

We had a group of 12, we all enjoyed the food. The only negative thing was my 84 year old mum tripping as we entered as the trip hazard wasn't highlighted, see fell onto a dining table luckily it was empty of people but it was set. The owner/manager never come to check on mum or apoligise, 2 hours in one of the staff come to check, I suggested what they need to do. Mum was hurt, but embbarasment meant she told us all she wasn't. I trust the problem is fixed as much as possible.
