First time dining here and it was very pleasant. Great pricing and food! Really appreciated the kid menu option of sandwiches and fruit plus chips which were kindly unsalted to make them more kid friendly.

Absolutely the best value and tasty, well executed half big breakfast in Palmerston North. Good coffee and impressed with the cleanliness and very friendly staff. My go to lunch place.

Foods is usually very nice. Staff are kind and helpful. Coffee is yummy

Good prices for nice food that was brought to the table quickly. The fizzy drink I got fizzed up out of the bottle, however I assume it was probably shaken up in transit to the cafe

Reasonably priced, nice clean seating areas and friendly staff. Food is a little bland but good for the price.

Full brekkie was delicious and came fast. Coffees were served before food which suits me. Enough room between tables to have privacy if needed. Highly recommended.

PERFECT Eggs Benedict . Eggs soft, Bacon and hash Browns crispy. Sauce yummy. Coffee to perfection. Rumours on Rangitekei Street get better and better. Staff and Management are friendly and helpful. As a regular they see you coming and as soon as you sit down coffee arrives even remembering how you like it. Top quality food and Service.

Called in while waiting to go to my music lessons, had a great coffee and awesome potatoes top pie..nothing beats a good pie..by the way their large coffee is a LARGE coffee, not a medium passing as a large...I liked that..my partner enjoyed her cappuccino too

Really awesome food and coffee. Came for brunch and got the pancakes, were some of the best I've had. Would totally recommend this cafe. Staff were extremely warm and friendly. Can't say enough good about Rumour Has It.

Think this place is either new or under new management and/or renovation also. Anyways, decided to try this place out cos it was "new". Friendly service and the prices weren't that bad. Quite reasonable pricing. And it's quite a spacious little cafe. <br/><br/>I got the big breakfast. Pretty good. The poached eggs seemed like it was microwaved. So it wasn't as runny. The hash browns were very crispy which I like. The pies there aren't too bad either.

Great service. We have used Rumour has it a number of times for catering business morning teas (delivered), adults food for kids birthday party (delivered), birthday party in the cafe along with regular coffees/food. Keep up the good work.

Don't recommend the salad/chicken buns. SO dry you need to knock back water with every mouthful. Needs more mayo and less lettuce! The food is alright but last time I went there I found a fruit fly in my burger lettuce which put me off of finishing the meal. So they need to wash their lettuce better I think. <br/>Overall, I probably won't return.

Terrible customer service. Ordered a chicken burger and they bought out southern fried chicken with chips and salad. We told them this is not what we ordered and the lady told us this is what we paid for seeing as they had run out of burger buns. Therefore they had changed our order without telling us and made out it was our fault. Average food <br/>Do not recommend

We've gone to this cafe a few times, and what keeps us coming back is the cheap food. When you're hungover and need a cheap pie or meal, and you're after a nice place to sit; this is it. The wait time is a little on the lengthy side, which is quite annoying if you're just after a Hot Chocolate or coffee. I took my mum here and she liked it, she reckoned the slices were among the best she'd tried in Palmy. It's more of a bakery in the style of a cafe. The decor is cool, and the name entices you to come in for a bite.

Called in for coffee and cake with my 5yo son. Service was great and delivered with a smile and joke with my son. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Me and my partner have always wanted to try this cafe out and we did today for breakfast. It was delicious!! The price is really good for the quality and quantity you get. Many Cafes that do all day breakfasts are so expensive and you get hardly any food for the price. My partner loved is caramel late too...We were really impressed and will be repeat customers!! The customer service was also good and servers friendly! It is also very nice interior, clean and tidy which is always welcoming! Recommend this place to anyone that likes a good cafe.

I was a regular happy customer when the owners had the little bakery on pioneer highway. Now its even better! Still with the same selection of delicious pies, sandwiches etc that I came to know and love, they now offer a cooked menu and espresso. The decor is clean, bright and well layed out. Value for money is fantastic. Their pies are homemade and delicious and food is always fresh. Staff are friendly and efficient. I have been in twice over the last few weeks, every time I have left satisfied with change in my pocket. See you again next week, looking forward to trying the french toast! Keep up the great work!

Went there last week - Definitely returning back! Great coffee/hot chocolates. Great value for their French Toast Breakfast and was enjoyed by all. We're heading back with our volunteers group to shout them breakfast there this Saturday due to their great atmosphere, able to seat and cater for a big group, and their fab value for money which is affordable for our group. Thumbs up to Rumour has it cafe and their friendly staff!!<br/><br/>25/5/12 - Went back for breakfast with a family member this morning, had the All day Breakfast with Hot Chocolate, absolutely delish, the meal was nice and hot along with the Hot Chocolate (had requested hot hot chocolate) - no faults at all, thoroughly enjoyed the overall breakfast. Highly recommended! Great cafe!
