We came for my husbands bday. We were warmly welcomed by a lovely waitress. The food was delicious, beautifully served. We will definitely come again.

Delicious food. Got one of our order incorrect but was rectified quickly. Pricey and leas choice compared to takeaway options.

It’s a good place. Due to covid empty. Food is good taste. We had tom yum soup, pad Thai and fried chicken. With 2 drinks. Overall bill 71.5$ slightly expensive but good service and quality..

Can't comment on atmosphere as got takeaways through uber eats. Best Massaman curry ever, meat so nice and soft and tender, great flavor 😋

Decent sized portions and the dishes are fresh and very tasty. The owner always goes above and beyond for the customers.

I have to say this is one of the most impressive Thai meals I've had. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. Great presentation too. The only let down was we could hear a tablet or some other device playing kids shows quite loud, but it did stop after a while. I have no idea where it was coming from. The seats in the booth were quite high in relation to the table so it made eating a little uncomfortable. Next time, I believe we'll sit at a normal table. The food and service was that good we'll definitely go back

We had a lovely meal here, conversation was easy in this quiet restaurant.

We ordered a small takeaway meal for two of us. It was excellent. A few weeks a go we had ordered meals for 7. This was an assortment of dishes which were great and enjoyed by all the family. This meal was delivered and Bangkok went out of their way to deliver on time. Great service thank you.

After level 2 lockdown, first restaurant visit. Its my first time eating here. The food was great esp. the spicy food. Need to be back later. Support local. ;)

Good tasty food for reasonable cost. Located near shopping center with convenience. Recommend Pad Zealand eawi and combination fried rice.

Have brought Thai from other places around Palmerston North but these guys always provide the best meals for freshness and size for price. Have never need disappointed with a takeout or delivery.

We had not been here in several years but really enjoyed our meal. The restaurant now has a couple of booths and we were shown to one which provided intimate dining. We ordered two entrees moneybags and spicy squid. Both were a good size and really tasty. We shared two mains a spicy beef dish that came out on sizzling plate and chicken and cashew nuts. Really tasty dishes and with plenty of veges. Whole meal includingcorkage for our wine was under $60. Service was prompt and friendly. Will not leave it so long to return next time.

Beautifully prepared simple food, flavours were great, good portion size that was not to big. I had the red duck curry medium with roti and satay sauce.

The food and the service was good . Well my friend and I enjoyed the food . I was initially a little skeptical . I’m not really a Thai food lover like my friend I opt for thai grilled chicken which was nice and not spicy .While my friend order some kind of sea food platter

Went with a group of 8 who all enjoyed their meals immensely! A mix of starters and mains were ordered all coming out in a timely fashion with other service also being of a high quality. The best meal of the table was a prawn tom yum soup which was amazing. All the meals were a bit pricey but other than that was a great dining experience

Excellent food, affordable prices (thought the appetisers could be cheaper), with one main being enough for a good dinner. 4.5/5, I return here to dine and takeaway often.

I ordered pad thai and the entree platter for delivery last night. The pad thai tasted really bad and it was dry, felt that it was not fresh at all. I wont recommend this restaurant at all.

They do an absolutely delicious Pad Thai, and the curries are all fantastic. Delivery does take a while but as I was getting excellent food I didn't mind! Have ordered from these guys a few times now and will definitely be ordering again.

This place must be inspected for hygiene and for the source of their ingredients. <br/>We were skeptical of how the chicken looked like, it seemed like a piece of rubber and tasted like very synthetic. <br/>Fried rice has a horrible smell .. We all left after two bites. <br/><br/>This place is nowhere near what thai food should be like ... <br/><br/>Also smell and look of the rubbish at the entrance was horrible. It says a <br/>@lot about this place <br/><br/>

Have eaten from here twice. The first time we went it was very quiet still waited ages for our meal. I had the basil chicken and it was terrible. Like it was fried in a pan and had water and soy sauce added. The basil was dried like the type you get from the herb section in a box at the supermarket. My wife had a yellow curry which seemed to have no paste in it and had that weird rubbery type chicken that seems like it might be seagull. The second time we had delivery but didn't realise at the time it was this place. wow even worse. Granted it was late, but if they are open I would expect it to be good. But no, the rice seemed to be scraped from the bottom of the rice cooker all gluggy and crusty and the food was the same as before watery and horrible. We wouldn't eat here again. If you like Thai food, forget this place! Majorly overpriced for the sorry excuse for Thai food you will get.

The restaurant's decor and atmosphere are nice. The service wasn't bad, and not outstanding. We enjoyed our meals, I would have to say that the attached take away is a bit of a rip off though. However, we would definitely return to this restaurant.

Sensational! Great quality fresh food and really good service. We were a large group but the service was swift and friendly. Great value for money. We'll be back. Highly recommended.

Service is OK. Polite waitress, shy. Mixed entree was very nice, and good value - chicken satays a standout. Money bags least favourite - meat filling was like a gluey paste. Mains - Pad Thai very spicy (even for me, a spice lover). Also almost half the plate was filled with garnish - two huge lettuce leaves, a carrot flower, parsley and capcisum strips on top to finish...way too much garnish and makes you think it is to fill the plate. Tasted nice though, if you love hot food this dish is for you. Red curry was average - plenty of chicken and vegetables but a thick pasty residue was left around side of bowl which made me wonder if this was made fresh and authentically. And there were noodles in it which I didn't think was traditional for a red curry. A shame as I have had the green curry here before and it was just wonderful. Other good points are location, food comes out very quickly, and the menus are beautifully presented with colour pictures. I just hope Bangkok Thai hasn't gone down the road of trying to cut corners to save money, as this doesn't go unnoticed to customers.

Terrible service! Quite expensive for what it is but the food tasted okay. I received a phone call 30 minutes after placing my order by phone saying that I hadn't ordered enough for delivery (which costs an extra $5 anyway). This was followed by lots of incomprehensible shouting which was lost on me. They eventually did deliver around 1 hour after placing my order and after 4 further phone calls to check my address.. definitely not worth the effort!

The food is good for me. The price is not quite reasonsble. Service is not so good. I had to wait quite long to be served. Then have to wait another 30 mins for food to arrive. Overall, it is ok to dine here but prob not in busy day.

Dined in the restaurant. Waited 10 minutes to be seated (and then the waiter seated me while he delivered food to another table). After about 20 minutes of no service we went back to the counter to order some drinks and request service for orders. Time taken before mains arrived approx an hour and a half - not impressed. Order doubled-up, but taken away. Requested another round of drinks, it did not turn up. Food - OK, nothing at all interesting. Decor and atmosphere - particularly boring. Will we be going back there? - no, there's a lot of choice in palmy and that was just plain boring. Very disappointed, maybe they should just concentrate on their takeaways and close the restaurant part because it seems like they can't be bothered with it. A waste of 2 and a half hours, wished I'd stayed home and watched Coro!

Best yellow curry I've ever had - and I love that they make any dish vegetarian. They got my delivery order wrong once, but they came back to give me the right thing. The guy was about to fall on his sword for screwing up, but I told him that was unnecessary. They didn't ask me about the spicyness over the phone, but seemed to intuitively understand that I'm a spice wuss. This is my new favourite takeaway!

Really quick delivery from online order. <br/><br/>Really Enjoy the satay Chicken Salad, The online order gives no option for mild so it was really hot.

customer service is sometimes a little strained, but fantastic food. I ordered online and it tells you that you will receive a phone call to confirm order, when it never came i called up and they didn't offer an apology for not calling, just said they are busy and my food has been waiting for me.

It must have been a off day for them as 2 out of the 4 adults were not happy with their meal. The starters were good but they forgot one! They ran out of Thai beers even though it was only 6:30pm on a Saturday, very poor. The service was sketchy to say the least and I found it quite expensive. Must try the others, go to the noodle bar 2 doors up, much better and far cheaper.

My favourite Thai restaurant. these guys have been around for a while and I've never been disappointed. Especially love the Hidden Treasure. I've never seen this anywhere else and I'm still trying to figure out exactly what makes it. they also have the bonus takeaway outlet for those times when you crave it.

Their food is awesome! It's fresh and extremely tasty! Great value for money. I recommend the thai green curry.
